Obgyn Care reviews in Wilmington

  • I was a new patient for Dr. Hentz. I found her to be very warm, caring and thorough. She gave me samples of a medicine to try, tips on how to wean my son from breastfeeding, and recommendations for other concerns. I received a reminder letter in the mail that I had not followed up on scheduling an appointment for a mammogram. Every one in her office just genuinely seemed to care about me as a patient.

  • The doctor I see at Glen Meade (Dr. Jones) is really VERY good. I think very highly of her bedside manner and professionalism. However, punctuality is not Glen Meade's strong suit. I typically have to wait for quite some time before being seen. The office environment is so-so. Not great. Not bad. Overall, I like the doctor enough to endure the long wait and the and quot;okand quot; office environment.

  • The doctor chosen contacted Azalea and asked for my daughter's records -- and we have been told that they will not provide them until we pay $30. That is outrageous - we're not leaving by choice, we're leaving because they basically forced us to.

  • The woman answering the phones sounded and acted like she hated her job and I was an inconvenience. However, I needed an appointment immediately and Glen Mead had one. upon arrival, I completed my new paperwork and headed into the bathroom full of stalls where everyone was giving a urine sample. Next I was ushered to the lab for bp and then waited for the nurse to take me back to a exam room. It all felt very much like a cattle shoot and not a bit personable. When I got back to my room, the nurse didnt look at anything I filled out and asked me everything all over again. She didnt have any conversation with me and made me feel like I was just another name in the schedule. Once Lauren Marshall, WHNP came in I was hoping things would change. She was nice and seemed to think before she spoke. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in her thoroughness. Im torn on if I go back or find someone else. I miss Azalea Gynecology and wish they still took my insurance. :(

  • Dr. Foiles is always amazing and easy to talk to. The wait time is reasonable and staff is friendly. I have yet to have a baby, but I would want Dr. Foiles there by my side. I feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful OBGYN! I recommend her to every woman in town.

  • I love this practice! The midwives are wonderful and so is Dr. Lofgren. They have helped with both of my pregnancies. And I see them on an annual basis. I've always felt like they cared and listened!! I truly recommend them all! I started with the midwives with my 2nd pregnancy, but developed gestational diabetes. This put me at a higher risk and I could no longer be seen by the midwives. Dr. Lofgren was there for the 2nd delivery. However, the midwives stayed in touch. It was a very pleasurable experience!

  • Excellent surgeon but runs (or lets other run) a HORRIBLE clinic. I lost 5 hours of work trying to see him for a postop visit that lasted 10 minutes. I tried 3 x to see him. All those hours in waiting room I didnt see any pregnant women waiting...only nonpregnant patients. I would recommend him but only if you dont work for a living and have plenty of time to spend in the waiting room.

  • I absolutely love everyone at Glen Meade even the grumpy receptionist that tends to answer the phone. They are kind and caring and will go above and beyond to make you feel at ease. I have personally dealt with all of the doctors on staff and I have never been more pleased with their response to each and every concern I have ever stated. When you are pregnant, you will have to see each of the doctors... my favorites are Rhodes, Wilson and Foiles...

  • This is my third pregnancy and the Doctors at Glen Meade have been
wonderful. The nurse calls me back promptly when I have a question and
they listen to all of my concerns and have been very helpful. I would
highly recommend them for service and support. However, be prepared to
wait a little bit in the waiting room.

  • When the new doctor came in she seemed very rushed. She told us her name but neither of us caught it. She put the doppler to hear the babies heartbeat for like 5 seconds and then says it is in normal range. We thought this to be odd as we both are very familiar with healthcare and know you can't do an accurate assessment in 5 seconds. We then told her about the pregnancy congestion and that the pharmacist recommended Tylenol 3 with codeine suspension as it is the least harmful for baby. However, she recommended benedryl (which drys me out), Tylenol pm, or she could write a script for a sleeping pill! Baffled and unwilling to use those options, we politely said never mind and left. She seemed very inexperienced and not very good at communicating. We are going to insist we see Dr. Woodfill from now on and get induced to have the ability to choose our delivering doctor Tylenol
