    Edens Gardens Landscape Services
We live in a jungle and my home has been rented out for 3 years. I called Samuel and he came out that day (a rarity in Wilmington), gave me the estimate on the timeline promised (another rarity), arrived promptly and worked hard and thoroughly, to include digging out some well established root systems. He called two days after the job was done to ensure I was satisfied. I was very pleased and will hire him again.

    Tee Time Lawn Care
I will use Tee Time again. He is dependable and shows up at the time he tells you. His prices are reasonable for his services. He was very professional. He has a list of yard care stuff you can just check and return to him which lets him know exactly what you want. He will also suggest anything your lawn or shrubs need and you can decide what services you want. I have always been a supporter of smalll businesses in the community and Tee Time didn't disappointment me. When I called him (Chris) back to get on his schedule he recognized my voice which made me feel good! That is not something you get with large corporations. Overall I am very pleased.

    M & M Landscaping
Matias Melendez has an excellent work ethic. We are hardly optimal clients in that we do not share the American insanity of maintaining a lawn. Matias has always been able to meet our requests while also assuring we are never at odds with the HOA. We tried a few other providers in the months after we moved into the house. They were either highly unreliable or they were absurdly dogmatic about what needed to be done, how many days a week (for real) it should be done, and how much we should shell out for services we did not consider necessary but that they mandated. In the time we have worked with Matias, he has helped us improve the appearance of the terribly weed infested lot and we look forward to competing the task with him. We are currently working to redesigning the front yard and when those plans are finalized, Matias will have a central role in their implementation.

I called Imow and spoke with Clyde the day before to schedule service.  From our initial conversation, Clyde was polite and helpful getting my work scheduled.  He worked with us on a crunched time schedule, which I really appreciated. Clyde showed up with his crew on time.  These guys came prepared with everything they needed for the job and got started.  From start to finish, the guys worked hard and kept a close attention to detail.  My azalea bushes required more than just a simple trim, and these guys did an awesome job pruning them.  My flower beds are now rock solid with a really thick layer of pine needles and the underlayment used was pinned nicely.  Everything was trimmed and pruned perfectly. While there is a great deal of uncertainty when contracting with anyone to do a job, these guys definitely deserve continued success and your business.  They sure will get mine again with future landscaping needs!  The job was done right and the price was right.

    Tee Time Lawn Care
I would greatly recommend this company!!!! Chris, the owner, is professional, friendly and hard working. He always shows up on time and prepared. His estimates are a great value for the services he provides. I've hired other larger lawn companies in the area to do my yardwork, but they do not compare to the quality of service that Chris provides. He really took the time to perfect my yard (which by the way was a disaster before I hired Tee Time Lawn). Tee Time Lawn care is a great locally owned company. I would highly recommend calling them to anyone who needs some TLC for their yard.

    Tee Time Lawn Care
Removed leaves from front and back yard. OK - but I found the price to be TOO HIGH for the market, after the fact. Neighbors with larger lots paid less for the same services. While I think Chris is a fine young man,and support his VETERAN status, I should have done more pricing research before booking him. Will I use him again? Yes, if I am able to negotiate a better price.

TLDR Version: WARNING! they do high quality work but company doesn’t communicate well when missing appointments. I suggest dealings in writing. New charges billed without disclosure upfront! Pros: As far as the quality goes of the work completed, I would say the quality is excellent. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about lawn care, and over the phone was friendly. Left my lawn looking better than when they started. Offered to use roundup, over 2 gallons without charging me for it. The other staff members are all very friendly. CONS: I called the company to explicitly ask for help with a lot of weeds and leaves. Was told over the phone 55 for my property. They were a no show to the first appointment on a Friday. I waited an hour and no one contacted me. I called them because no one emailed, texted, or called me more than an hour past the appt. Owner tells me I'd been pushed back to Sunday. No problem, i understand the rain probably backed them up. Sunday comes and I get no contact until they arrive at 6 PM Sunday. Again no phone call letting me know they were on the way - I just so happened to spot them driving up as I am on my way out to dinner. I deliberated cancelling earlier but thought it would be worth keeping the service based off the great price. They arrive, and I live downtown. The owner calls me over, in an admittedly tough area for parking because his truck is too large for alley way, and has to park on street. First statement he says to me is "come here." he will do it this "one time" not going to have his boys cross a busy street with lawnmowers. I told him not necessary since I really just want help with backyard, there's no grass in the back, just a lot of leaves and A LOT of weeds. We discuss in person and he offers courtesy roundup to help with many weeds at no charge. He makes a recommendation to pull rather than use trimmer given length of weeds, and seed pods. Again, he's the pro, so I go with his judgement. No other discussion regarding financial changes of service are ever discussed until after service was completed... Finishes front yard, which looked good to be honest. Does not finish backyard that Sunday, but emails me while I'm gone to say tomorrow, (Monday) they would finish. Monday comes, and again they are a no show with no call, no text. Tuesday comes, I get an email early morning explaining the absence the day before and said they would come Tuesday ASAP. Again on Tuesday, No show again, no communications from them for the rest of the day. I inquire on Tuesday about the no show and I get nothing, no contact until Wednesday explaining their delay via email at 5 am. ( I should have cancelled after being stood up the first time) Mind you, the reasoning was one of the employees was sick. That may be valid, but don't think it excuses not reaching out in a timely manner. Wednesday comes and the service is completed. Everything looks much better in the back. I'm home when they finish but instead of anyone letting me know when they finish, going over the summary of the differing charges from quote, iMOW leaves quietly and emails me an invoice/receipt 4X the amount stated. I was charged for the roundup and the charge was only removed after I reminded the owner that he offered to use and not charge for round up. Told me that while basic weed eating with wire is included, having to pull weeds manually is not and charged basic rate of 40/hour and didn't mention those rates until he had already billed me. I understand how that could be more labor intensive, but, I have him on my property cameras recommending pulling them and no mention of the upcharge or distinctions in weed service in advance. I hate to leave a negative review of a local small business as I prefer to highlight those doing things well, but poor communications, many missed commitments, unclear billing, and untimely responses are all reasons I suggest seeking lawn service elsewhere Side note: they left a bag of trash outside my fence. Would have taken 2 seconds to put in my garbage bin, but that’s the least of my concerns. Unprofessional.
