    I used them for 20 years. But, they just priced themselves out of the market. They got too damn expensive. I had a claim and my insurance doubled and I didn't even file the claim. What happened was, I lived in Maine and we had an oil leak in our basement. So, I called them and told them and they said, "Oh, it's not covered under your policy." I said, "That's fine." So, I called the EPA. So, the EPA came out and cleaned it all up. I told them that my insurance wouldn't cover it. So the state of Maine went after them and they ended up forcing them to pay $10,000 for the cleanup. What happened was, as soon as they paid that $10,000, they doubled my insurance. I didn't even file a claim because they told me it wasn't covered. But they ended up jacking my insurance and doubling my insurance. So that's why I dumped them after 20 years.

    One telephone call to the agency explaining the details of the accident and next day an adjuster was calling to set up an appointment to view the auto damage.

    A few days later the car was in the shop and fixed perfectly.

    Everyone I dealt with was courteous, friendly and when they referred you, you got a name, number and told what they were

    going to do for you.

    Sometimes great, when it came to covering my husband's heart surgery. Sometimes lousy, when arguing over a relatively inexpensive flu shot. The bills are hard to read but phone help is usually good. But the cost for coverage for me and two kids is close to $700 per month.

    The Rob Cutting / State farm team, is just that. A team. Each and every employee that works there treated us like we were royalty. From coffee, and drinks to phone calls to confirm different matters, Rob and his team have been hot on the spot. The Cuttings, Rob and Shari have been available to us outside of normal business hours, providing us with their personal cell phone numbers in case we had issues. Rob has always maintained extreme professionalism from the beginning to the present. Every issue; every claim has been handled with expedient care and diligent processing to assure our safety and diminish our loss of time and money.
    There are very few organizations in this country who put themselves out there for all there customers the way the Cutting team has. Will always be a Cutting team Customer.

    Rob Cutting State Farm Insurance
    Over the course of a few days I gave all the info they asked for and notified my current home owners insurer I would not be renewing in the next few days. Scheduled an appointment to go in on my lunch hour and do paperwork and pay - when I got there - had check book out and then all of a sudden they were sorry they could not insure me - BECAUSE i had had a claim within 5 years for less than $1,000.00 Apprently, it is industry standard for homeowners. However, I had taken time off of work, driven across town and already notified my past insurer of my cancelation!!!!! I was insensed. They had relentlessly pursued my business and I had been answering questions for them for days while they were getting my policy together!!! I totally understand industry standard BUT this was BAD business. I then attempted to complain and could never get them to actually talk to me... I threatened calling the NC Insurance commisioner at which point they sent me a mandatory denial later -- late -- This place has no customer service skill or sense of general business practice. All I wanted was a simple personal apology for the inconvience. Luckily my old Allstate insurer took me back no problem. Do NOT GO HERE.

    I am so dissatisfied with this company that even though they were cheaper for me with my auto rate, I am changing companies. The Senior Claim Specialist was so rude, dissrespective, and condescending to me that I am willing to pay more for my auto insurance somewhere else. Not only was her customer service more suitable for working with animals, they took my rental car away when I still did not have my car back from the repair shop. No, I had not reached my rental max on my policy but because the repairs are done, they told me their part on the rental payment is done. I am still waiting on the 2nd repair check from the insurance company because I never received the 1st one they said they mailed to me. She said the check was mailed on Wednesday and it is now Friday. I was told last Friday it would be mailed out that day....At one point she said to me, "Don't tell me how to do my job, I have been doing this long enough to know how to read an accident report." Aside from my children back talking me, I have never been so disrespected in my life. Service? I have learned my lesson about paying cheaper prices for a very important service...

    It has taken more than a year and I STILL don't have my life insurance policy finalized. I have never had such poor service in my entire life. Doesn't return calls half the time and has no fire under him. Am going to call the better business bureau to report him.
