Carolina Seamless Gutters installed seamless gutters all the way around our house. From the initial estimate and consult to the prompt professional installation, we could not be more satisfied. Very prompt, professional, efficient and courteous staff. Excellent installation and cleanup. Highly recommend this company. Brian & Amy S. (Willard NC).

    Crossroads Design & Construction Co
The experience was wonderful. Basically I liked the partners in this business, I went to high school with one of them. I worked with one of them years ago. I knew both of those gentlemen. I knew them to be outstanding young men, they had done some work for me previously several years ago when they first started the business. The stand up to the work. They show up when they say they are going to show up, they listen to you plans that you have and try to incorporate other ideas. They are both very astute individuals and filled with integrity.

I first contacted Mr. Hart upon discovering a leak in the main water shut off valve which controls the watter supply to my home.  Upon calling Mr. hart he responded very promptly and the following day all repairs were made the the system returned to normal.

    Tony's Affordable Tree Service

A competent crew arrived mid morning and immediately began work on the tree removal. Following completion

of the tree removal the pruning of the water oak commenced. All work, including yard cleanup was completed by late afternoon. The crew were very attentive to returning the yard area adjacent to the tree work to good condition. Additionally they were most agreeable to move left over dirt to other areas of the property were it was used to fill low-lying land. Tony and his crew were most earnest in their desire to ensure satisfaction. I would certainly use them again for any future tree work.

    ADDIS CONSTRUCTION
When hired Mr. Addis' company was highly recommended as an expert at restoration. We were told by our inspector that our crawlspace was the worst case of moisture damage he had ever seen. So after 3 estimates we chose Addis for the work. After waiting 3 months for the work to begin, they started in July and "finished" in August. Because the work was done in the crawlspace the HVAC had to be removed while work was being done, hence no A/C except for the window units I purchased for over 6weeks. When the job was finally completed Mr. Addis recieved the final payment and we thought that was the end. We were wrong! Having little construction experience we thought all was well until 2 years later we had the HVAC serviced. When the technician came out from the crawlspace he said that we had some major problems with the system and should have a county inspector come out. After several weeks and multiple inspections we found out that Addis had not obtained any work permits for the original job and that the work upon inspection after the fact did not in any way pass county codes. We were told by the county inspector that we should contact the contractor and have them obtain a permit and come to correct the problem. When contacted Mr. Addis did not think that there was any problem with the original job. After making a formal complaint with the NC state board of contractors, Mr. Addis sent his foreman to re-eval the work done 2 years before. The crew finally returned after several months and started to correct the work. After over 2 more weeks of work on the structural system of the house, including what appeared to me to be replacing just as much lumber as they had done originally, we then discussed the repair of the subfloor. I was able to get Mr. Addis to agree to a payment plan for an additional $5000.00 to correct the rotten subflooring that was addressed numerous times by 3 different structural engineers, but I did not want his crew doing the work. The amount fell short of the total needed to repair the remaining rotten subflooring but I was so fed up with dealing with Addis construction I accepted his offer. We ended up having to hire another contractor to do an additional $8000.00 worth of repairs to make the floor system right. I understand now why it's hard to trust anyone to do a good job. No matter how qualified Addis Construction may have sounded it was a miserable experience that gives all contractors a bad name. What happened to work ethics. Why would anyone treat another person this way just for the glory of a dollar! Shame on you Brooks Addis.

LEWIS & SON HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING
Lewis and Son was subcontracted by our general contractor to do the job of replacing the trunkline and the flexline with boots during major renovations of our crawlspace. The general contractor made all the arrangements, but I requested that we put back in new duct/trunkline materials since we were dealing with severe moisture and mold damage to the crawlspace and I didn't want to try and salvage and put back in the old lines that could have been damaged or harbor mold. My contractor agreed to pay for the cost of the labor for removal and replacement of the system and I would pay for the supplies. The work was completed and I was told all was well with the system. After about a year and a half I decided to have my HVAC unit serviced since it had been harder and harder to heat and cool my house. There always seemed to be a draft in the winter and my cooling costs were high. When the HVAC tech came to evaluate the unit he went into the crawlspace to check the lines and within 15 minutes he came out from under the house and stated that there was a major problem with the lines and that I needed to have a county inspector out asap to evaluate the work. The inspector came and failed the work that was done previously and stated that no permit had ever been filed for that job. There were old vents that had not be rehooked to the system and were not closed so that they were just opened to the crawlspace. The small return in the hallway was not attached to the unit and was left open to crawlspace as well. (These holes were all covered with vent covers and I guess I was too stupid to figure that out) I spoke with Chris Lewis, the original foreman, and he agreed to come back to reevaluate the work. When he came out he originally denied any wrong doing by himself or his crew. After crawling under the house and looking at the open holes in the floor and wall return he immediately became apologetic and said that these things never should have happened and they would obtain a permit with the county and fix the problems asap. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time and passed inspection. My only complaint now is that since this work was completed we have had to fight the original general contractor for his work and in the process found out that the trunkline as well as most of the boots that I paid $2500 in materials to replace were the original materials that were salvaged and were never replaced with new! I don't necessarily feel that Lewis and Son was completely responsible for this, but in seeing how poor their work was I can bet they didn't care how bad the material may have been when they installed them in my house. What a sucker I must look like!!
