  • Barbara and Jeanelle were wonderful. Everything was clearly explained to us before our vacation and both took a lot of notes to ensure doing things the way we wanted. While we were away they attended at every time they were scheduled and made sure our pups were happy and well cared for. At all times they were prompt, friendly and professional. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing my dogs were in great hands. Jeanelle, who stayed at our home, left it in perfect order and I'm sure our pups can't wait to see her again. Pampered Paws is highly recommended and very good value for money compared to kenneling your dogs.

  • I have called upon Nana’s Pet Sitting for years and am always so impressed with the care they provide to my fur babies as well as being watchful over my home as I am away. I was out of town from October 4 -8th 2018 and Nana’s Pet Sitting was caring for my fur babies. Due to Linda Edward’s quick thinking, staying calm and direction she and her associate Heidi saved the life of my baby English Bulldog .. Louie. My black Labrador Retriever attacked my English Bulldog on the morning of October 7th. Heidi was with my dogs outside when the attack occurred. She immediately contacted Linda who got me on the phone .. asked me to contact neighbors for help and they were able to break up the fight. If Heidi and Linda had not cared and acted so fast .. my Bulldog would have been killed. Linda Edwards and Heidi immediately drove him to ER Urgent Care. Louie was really hurt .. has been in ICU since the 7th and finally came home on the 21st of October. The concern and care from Linda and Heidi has been non-stop. Linda called me and texted me at least twice daily. Heidi sent a get well card to Louie. I will be forever grateful for they truly saved my Louie. Blessings to Linda Edwards and Nana’s Pet Sitting. I would never consider the care from another Pet Sitting company. I knew what she provided was great but now I consider them superior. She loves your pets like they are her own. So very caring and responsible. Thank you Linda Edwards and Nana’s Pet Sitting!!

  • I have called more than 10 times over 3 days, sent mail through Angie's list, but could not even leave a voicemail. No replies and I THINK she blocked my number. This lady has great reviews and we would love to add to them, but after not receiving even the courtesy of being told she does not want our business I feel the need to leave this review instead.

  • Excellent. Highly recommend Nana's Pet Sitting to anyone who has a pet. We would not trust anyone else with our three dogs when we have to travel. They are not only professional, but they also are truly loving to our dogs. When we come home, the dogs are happier than ever. The sitter leaves us a summary of each visit and then checks in on us to make sure that we not only arrived home safely, but also to make sure that the dogs are okay! In addition, Nana's sitters bring in our mail, water our plants in needed, and even takes out the trash can! They give us a peace of mind!

  • When one of my dogs died at CVS, the staff was wonderful. Receptionists & techs could not have been more compassionate & personal. I wish I could say the same for Dr. Sean Gallivan, who did surgery 3 yrs ago on my dog's ACL tear, when I took her in last Monday because the knee seems to be failing again. She's never appeared comfortable, always scraping the foot on the ground, but in subsequent visits Dr. Gallivan said it simply hadn't healed completely. Now, her symptoms are very much like they were just before she originally ruptured it, though he assured me at the time that this method of mending it was the best and would last a lifetime. On this visit I mentioned that I wanted to be present when the Dr. examined my dog, as every vet in my life has done until I moved to Charlotte. The tech promised to let him know. A few minutes later Dr. Gallivan appeared, leaned stiffly against the door frame with arms crossed, leaving the door open, presumably to emphasize that he was not entering into any idea of mine. He stayed just so during our entire encounter. As anyone with animals knows, body language is telling. He offered no hello, no good morning. "You will NOT be present when I examine your dog," he barked. Frankly, his strong hostility startled me. I explained that I don't like handing an animal over to be taken into another room where I can't ask or answer questions, or point out my concerns. Dr. Gallivan stated he planned to weigh her and watch her walk down the hall. "I'd like to be there to show you what I see, " I told him. As he had during the whole "conversation," he bit off the word, "No!" I asked why. Loudly, "Because that's the way I like to work!" At this point I left -- I would not leave an animal with someone so angered by a simple unremarkable request or who has such scorn for pesky animal owners. If he had sat down and talked to me like a grownup, we might have come to some agreement. He hadn't the maturity. I was there because his original surgery failed my dog, and I find his rudeness unacceptable. I asked him to weigh and observe my dog in my presence -- not to let me hang around for an operation. I'm sure I got my first pet before his parents were born. There is no excuse for a youngster like him talking to someone old enough to be his grandmother as if she were a defiant child in deep trouble. There are veterinary surgeons here with more skill, courtesy, and better presence than this.

  • The only caring heart you’ll find at “Caring Hearts” Animal Hospital is the 4 legged one that goes in the door with you. Caring and Marketing for Dollars Animal Hospital would be a more appropriate name for this place.

  • They have a groomer at the salon they recommended who deals with all of the German Shepherds at this salon, is very comfortable around them, and is great with my nervous dog! She has a problem with itchy paws, and they have a special anti-bacterial and anti-fungal wash that relives itchy skin - perfect for my dog! When I called the first time to ask about their services and tell them about my dog, they were very knowledgeable and helpful. The first time I took her to the groomers I only had them de-shed and wash her. They were very sensitive to the fact that if she was too nervous during the process, she would have breaks in-between the wash/dry/cut. If dogs are anxious towards the dryer, they will let them air dry with fans. The second time she had a full groom and she looks FANTASTIC!! Also, it was a great price for a full groom, haircut, wash, teeth cleaned, etc (and she is 50 lbs). I would recommend anyone with a nervous dog to ask when they can have an appointment that isn't a busy arrival time because the waiting area in the front is fairly small and all the dogs coming in for their appointments can add stress.

  • She was in seizures and they did nothing for her. They wanted me to give them $500 and I couldn't get it out of the back, and I couldn't do anything. There was nothing I could do at the time and I wanted to get a transfer. It was awful. I stood there and watched her have seizures for hours, and they wouldn't help her. I last used them 4 years ago, and I will never use them again. She wasn't even compassionate towards it. The puppy was a year old, and she was a 3 pound chihuahua. She would go in a seizure and she couldn't even move, her eyes were just rolling. She wouldn't even give her a 25cent pill for seizures. I had to go and get it from the pharmacy across the road and come back and give it to her to give my dog. At the time, I couldn't get to my money. I didn't have much money in my bank account, and I was getting my money the next morning, but she wouldn't even wait for my money to come in. She let the dog die. It was bad. This was the worst experience. I would never let anything die. I cried. All I can see is her standing there, and she was begging me to help her and nobody would help her. I told her wait for my money to come because my money comes in the next morning. She wouldn't take what I had, she wanted the full $500. She wouldn't even keep her overnight, I told her that I would have to come back to get my dog. She had no compassion. She has no right to treat animals. It was awful. I will never get over it as long as I live. The price was on the higher end of anyone that I have taken my pets to. She was going to give Sugar a pill that probably costs less than 25 cents, and she wouldn't even give the pill and keep her overnight. We took our cat to another vet and they charged $135 for shots and to take a thing out of her mouth, and monitor her for the whole day. They got her back there real quick. There was one vet, the assistant was almost in tears because he couldn't help her out. He came and apologized to me. He wrapped her in a blanket and watched her, but his hands were tied, because the vet would not help her. She was not professional. They let her suffer. If that would have been a human being, she would have been sued. She would have been charged with killing a person, but because it is a dog, nobody pays attention. My son worked with a vet, but this happened after hours, so we couldn't get in touch with them, and we had to go there. There was nothing lined up to help her.

  • He said since he is giving a discount to bring charlie at a house he has in harris ridge. Had him more than 2 weeks because my dog was not ready. When I picked him up my dog was still jumping. Chris the owner said its because the way I talk to him got to be firm so he yelled at him NO. Thats just scaring the dog not training him. He did not care that I was not happy with his services. My dog lost weight when he was there.Rip off

  • Lucky to have found Linda Edwards!  Callie is a feral cat, born & lived outside her first two years.  She adopted us & eventually we brought her inside.  That is an extremely difficult transition for a truly feral cat & Callie has a very timid, though sweet, temperament.  She is afraid of strangers.  Like any smart wild animal, she sees a space with only one exit as a trap, which is just what she thought of the crate I tried to put her into for a trip to the cat kennel when we went to England.  She panicked, scratched & struggled &I lost that battle -- the day before we were to leave.
I am so grateful to Linda for agreeing to take on Callie's care at the last moment.  I was pretty panicked myself, not wanting to traumatize Callie further & unsure of finding someone reliable to take the job on.
I needn't have worried.  Linda kept me up to date by email & Heidi, who came every day, left very thorough notes.  It wasn't an easy 10 days!  Callie hid and didn't eat for the first 3 days.  Linda & Heidi really cared, went to a great deal of trouble to put food where she would find it & Heidi made 2 trips to the store for extra specially tempting kitty meals.  Great success when Callie began chowing down!  Heidi had very good cat sensitivity too, talking softly to Callie (though she never saw her!) and then deciding not to stress her by getting too close.
When I arrived home, Callie was healthy & much better adjusted than I expected she'd be, cheery & full of talk.  I am impressed with Linda & Heidi both; their love for and understanding of cats is evident.  So glad I found them!
