  • First of all I want to apologize to Lloyd for the delay in posting this review. I wrote it a few days after I had my car repairwork done, but apparently it did not post properly and I am just finding that out. I chose Colors on Parade because of the many positive reviews Lloyd had received on Angie's List and I was not disappointed! He was quick to schedule my appointment and extremely easy to work with from start to finish. Lloyd's workmanship was everything his other clients had said it would be! He did an amazing job on my car's scratches and also fixed a back bumper issue. These repairs were completed in a timely fashion at Lloyd's very nice workshop near his home in Wendell, NC. Lloyd clearly loves his profession and takes great pride in his work. The price he quoted me was very reasonable and there were no surprises when I picked up my car. Lloyd is a very honest, intelligent, friendly and likable person. By the time I drove away from his bodyshop, I felt like I had made a new friend. I will not take any future car bodywork to anyone but Lloyd! I have already recommended him to two friends. My advice to anyone who needs car bodywork or classic car restoration in the Wake County area is to call Lloyd at Colors on Parade. You will not be disappointed!

  • Met with Mr. Lind and he explained in detail what needed to be done. Insurance did not cover full cost of repair as they wanted to use after market bumper which was lower quality than original Honda bumper. Mr. Lind contacted my insurance adjuster and explained that after market bumper was poor quality and would not be satisfactory and that Honda manufactured bumper was required. My insurance adjuster agreed and increased insurance payment to completely cover repairs. Mr. Lind did excellent job repainting the new bumper so it matches color of van perfectly.

  • I've been going there for years, they have improved quite a lot. 

    There work is fine you know a lot of time it's not the work, it's the peoples that's working at the place. These guys will come through the waiting room and would open their mouth to speak and we are paying them. 

    Their cheaper and they works on Lexus and a lot of cars much cheaper.

    They do quality work, they use their parts that the car recommend and they do have like if they have to keep your car they have loaner cars and everything, if they're not available they'll bring you home something like that so they have come from a long way to be a small company you know.

  • They are very efficient. I can always make an appointment and don't have any problem getting in. The give me something to drive is I don't have anything.Their prices are reasonable with hourly labor as any other company that does that type of work. They are local and they follow up after a service to make sure that you are satisfied.

  • Owners / staff very nice to work with.  Making an appointment was easy.  Lobby (waiting area) is comfortable and relaxing.  Installer did a great job.  I felt they were professional, informative, and did a good job.  They also offer window tint for home/business.
    I can't speak to longevity or long-term quality, but the installation looks great.  I will most likely have them tint my other vehicle. I would recommend to friends & family.

  • I had a service of the air conditioning. They mostly do Mercedes work and they are have the experience and knowledge of what's going on. So, they pretty well solve problems without a whole lot of fiddling around. They do high quality work and cost less.

  • First, I want to point out that I can't really speak to the price (and the estimate I gave is a best guess), since the other driver's insurance company was liable for all the repairs. As I remember, the ballpark figure they gave me was very comparable to the body shop that my insurance company uses.
    The shuttle service to the rental agency was convenient, but don't expect to be whisked off just as soon as you've dropped off your car. On a busy morning, they will typically have the shuttle wait around for about 30 minutes to fill up before it departs.
    The work was completed a little later than initially projected, which wasn't a shock since there had been a winter storm and they were very busy due to the weather. I was somewhat annoyed that they didn't call me to let me know, as I needed to arrange a few more days on the rental car. I found out when I called them to confirm my car was ready to pick up.
    When I picked up my car, I found that they had stored the rear window glass in the back seat while the work was performed. It left an indention in the foam of the seat which took weeks to finally disappear. It also left some sosrt of deposit on the upholstery, which I pointed out to the manager but he was unconcerned. To be fair, the car was an 8 year old Honda, but STILL! If you get stuff on my upholstery, I expect you to clean it up! They told me it would vaccuum out once it was dry, but it didn't. Several attempts at scrubbing and using an upholstery shampooer later, the stain is still there.
    Overall, the quality of the body work was just fine, but the rest of the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I did see a lot of BMW's and Mercedes in their lot for work, so perhaps they just don't get that concerned about the lower-end customer.

  • Overall I had a really good experience purchasing a used car from Lee Kia. I worked with two different salesmen, and both were friendly and courteous. The asking price on the vehicle was very competitive compared to other dealerships and they didn't try to rip me off my pushing a lot of extras. We negotiated a bit on the price, but I felt very comfortable knowing that they weren't trying to take advantage of me (as a woman, that's always a concern in the back of your mind).
    They offered to help me secure financing through the dealership, but I already had a great rate from my own bank and the dealership did not push me when I said I preferred to stay with my bank.
    Buying my car here was a great, low-pressure experience that was actually a lot of fun. When I am in the market for my next car, Lee Kia will definitely be on my list to check out!

  • My car is still under warranty so I didn't have to pay for the ten thousand mile inspection. The technician was nice he wanted to check the alignment but I didn't want to pay the extra money for it. But other than that I will continue to use them in the future.

  • Professional.  Experienced.  Took time and care to remove old (damaged) windshield and replaced with new.  Had special tools so as not to scratch/damage my car.  Impressed and I am glad I used this company.  Repair is still new, so I can't comment on longevity of the workmanship.  Based on install and my experience with the owner, I'm sure this will be a trouble free repair.
