    Freedom Renovations Inc.
Chris, Maria and crew did an amazing job installing luxury vinyl plank in the entire upstairs of our new home. We moved into a home built in the 70's and were replacing carpet and tile. They handled the entire project from start to finish....removing existing flooring, repairing water damage/mold sub flooring and installing the new LVP. Maria kept us updated during the entire process and was very prompt replying to our calls and texts. We highly recommend Freedom Renovations and are actually using them now to install porcelain tile in our entire downstairs.

    Carolina Flooring & Carpet Inc
What a fantastic group to work with! They met our very limited schedule to help us select the right carpeting for our home, then installed and cleaned up right on schedule. No surprises. And they beat every other quote we had received. I would definitely use Carolina Flooring and Carpeting again. Thank you Jimmy Sinopoli and your professional team.

They were punctual. The office called me a day before install began and then after the install to make sure we were satisfied. The installers were efficient. They cleaned after they were finished. Everything went off without a hitch.

Wonderful experience.! I spent much time visiting various Flooring stores in the Charlotte / Matthews / Indian Trail area. Colt is very knowledgeable and not pushy, he even allowed me to take home multiple display boards. Seeing them in my house helped us to determine which flooring we would purchase. Hands down, they had the best price on this particular laminate. If i didnt already have an installer lined up, I definitely would have used them as well to install, installation prices are very reasonable as well. I encourage anyone reading this to pay this family business a visit, youll be glad you did.

We bought our home in the spring, and wanted to do some remodeling (including new floors) before move in. Carlo came in and measured, and sold us on one of his "high quality laminates". I was told my satisfaction was "guaranteed", and that this floor would look and sound just like real wood. The company also refinished our existing stairs and remodeled the balusters. On the day of installation, I was told that the estimate that they had provided did not include the sanding and refinishing of the stair treads, just the banister... this should have been my first clue that this was not going to be a great experience. 500$ was added on the day of installation due to this "mistake". No walk throughs were completed after the work, I ended up having to call and follow up repeatedly to get certain small issues fixed - like paint touch ups, etc. This in and of itself was an ordeal... I was told from the start that they would not be fixing any of the minor cosmetic issues that they created, but they did end up coming out to address them once I was in contact with Carlo personally, instead of the office staff. The day the floor went in, I expressed concern to the installers due to the noise. The floor sounded like cracking glass when walked on. I was assured that this was just the floor "settling" and I wouldn't notice it within a few days. Within the first month, the floor started to buckle. Entire portions of the floor would come up off the sub floor. The noise still persisted. I filled out a warranty and the company did come out to "fix" these issues. They fixed them by nailing the floors down in the spots they noticed them coming up. When I asked about the noise, I was again assured that this was normal and would subside. The problems with the floor continued to persist. Sections began to separate, and the floor still buckled and came loose. I filled out another warranty form with the company. They continued to come out and "fix" the issues. While the crew was in the home fixing the floors, their machinery damaged two boards of the floor - staining it and damaging the top. They attempted to "clean" it, but the stains continued to come back and could be seen a week later. When I brought up the noise issue again, I was still assured the noise was normal. The third time around, I had Carlo come back out to the house to investigate my claims himself. He did not "see" the damage on the floors - and while he admitted that the floor noise was not normal, he blamed it on moisture issues in my crawlspace. This home was inspected by a professional less than six months from the date of this review, and moisture readings were done on the crawlspace. Moisture was NOT an issue here. I was told that all my issues were not installation issues but were flooring issues, and they would be filing a warranty claim with the actual flooring manufacturer. My last communication I had with this company was an email stating that they had no more information regarding the manufacturer's warranty claim, and proceeded to give me the contact information so I could follow up myself. From start to finish, I had issues with this company. They did not hold up to their promises of "satisfaction guaranteed", they sold me an inferior product, they damaged my home, and then proceeded to wash their hands of the issue. I have since ripped up these floors and had them replaced, as there was no other way to make this situation right. These floors were a safety hazard, looked terrible, and literally devalued my beautiful home. There is no other way to put it. I do not enjoy writing negative reviews on Angie's list. But this was a big job (we spent over 8k with this company in total), and we are now out this money with no help from this company to make it right. By passing the buck to the manufacturer, all they did was to assure that if there was a defect, I would get to replace the floors with more of the same inferior product. Buyer beware here... if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I am also wary that this company goes by two different names -- My New Floor, and United Flooring Group. I had emails coming from both companies. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

FLOORS TO GO BY JOHN RAPER, INC.
I am pleased. Was it perfect. Probably not. It was as good as I needed it to be. 1) The floor has some bounce to it down the hallway. 2) The installers didn't quite know how to deal with the steel pipe the toilet sat on, so the toilet remained on my porch for a day or two. The best solution we could muster was to seat the toilet back onto the concrete slab and cut the floor around the toilet. Not totally the best but in a college student condo it will do.

    Exquisite Tile Creations & Renovations
Everything went smoothly! Joe installed tile in our master bathroom. He is very neat and respectful. First he removed the existing tile and disposed of it. I couldn't even tell he was there at the end of the day!!! Everything was cleaned up and organised. He was very helpful in designing the shower and had great ideas. He is an artist when it comes to installing the tile! Everything is perfect! I love the seamless glass too :) His carpet crew was just as professional. They moved all the furniture, removed the old carpet and hauled it off. Then went in the new pad and carpet. They had this big carpet stretching contraption that they called a "power stretcher". The carpet is nice and tight. It doesn't look like I'll have to worry about any wrinkles down the road. Also, they installed all the carpet in 1 day! Very convenient! I would definitely recommend them for any tile or carpet needs. Thank you!
