    Tommy looked at the hot water heater to make sure that it was not the problem and then called in Jose to do the electrical work needed. The circuit breaker needed to be ordered and within two days Jose was back replacing the worn circuit breaker with a new one. Jose was great to work with and diagnosed the problem with the overheating of the breaker and determined that it needed to be replaced after rechecking and adjusting the wiring of the hot water heater. The circuit breaker is now not overheating with the use of the hot water heater. IRV Plumbing did a great job getting Tommy and Jose out to our home in a very timely manner. IRV Plumbing will be used by me for any plumbing or electrical needs we have in the future.

    I called this electrician. He was very nice and said he would be out the same day which made me happy as I was tired of listening to my smoke detectors beep even after I changed he batteries. When it was his appointed time he called and said he was behind and would be out the next day so we agreed on a new time. I came home early to be here and waited the rest of the day. No show, no call. I called him twice but got voicemails asking him to call me back. My time is just as valuable as others and this vendor cannot be relied upon to meet their commitments.

    Run from this guy! Graham McClain, the owner and sole employee, installed pathway lights which I had purchased from John Deere with no problem. The problem was with the lights McClain installed that I purchased from him. He gets his lights from a company called Sterling Lighting which is wholesale only and will not deal with consumers. The lights themselves are "integrated" meaning when they fail you can't simply replace the bulb like the pathway lights; the whole unit has to be replaced. None of this was explained to me when I made the purchase; in fact McClain represented that the lights were consumer serviceable. Within 18 months 25% of the lights I purchased from McClain had failed. I left numerous voice mails on his cell and office phones because McClain would never answer my calls. Despite his "lifetime warranty" my calls were never returned until I threatened litigation and a complaint with the BBB. Finally he replaced all of his lights which were defective. Fast forward two years, the lights he replaced continue to fail. They cannot be repaired and must be replaced. Since the lights are proprietary to Sterling Lighting who only sells at wholesale, the lights must be replace by McClain otherwise the replacement lights won't match the existing ones. Once again McClain refuses to answer my calls and texts; refuses to honor his "lifetime warranty". If you use this guy - Watch Out! His lights will fail eventually. He won't answer the phone or return voicemail, email or texts. Be prepared to replace all of his lights. Ed Rothschild Ed Rothschild

    Came home after being gone for a week. Found that an electrical outlet stopped working. Went to the circuit breaker and found that the sewer pump circuit breaker had tripped off. Ryan Coleman from ROBY came out to investigate. After going through several circuits he found an electrical outlet outside had been connected to the Sewer Pump Circuit along with another inside outlet ! This was done by a previous electric company-nothing else should have been connected to this dedicated Sewer Pump Outlet. Ryan disconnected the other circuits and fixed the Sewer Pump Circuit. Ryan was Great. I would have never figured out that an outside outlet was improperly wired and would have caused this issue. Thank you!

    Set appointment for 7/29 @ 9am. They never showed up and when I called an hour and a half later, Robert blamed it on the Angies list app not working with their computers properly. I rescheduled the appointment for 8/5 @ 9am and it's now 12:50pm. and they still haven't showed up or called. Obviously they didn't need my business being I've waited over 5 hours on 2 different dates without even a call from Assett Electrical. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

    Jeff Jansen was initially very responsive and prompt with the service. In fact, I believe most of the positive reviews were written based on the work of Jeff and Brogdon, and not what problems occurred when the job was finished. Following the main work in the house being completed, any follow up by Jeff was extremely poor. Text messages and phone calls were not promptly returned, appointments were not kept, and it eventually led to no response from Jeff at all. We attempted multiple times to contact him through email, text, and phone calls; however, there was no response. We are now left with unfinished wireless work in our home and remote controls not working. Brodgon was an amazing worker and it would benefit him tremendously to start his own business. While I hope nothing happened to Jeff, I would not recommend him to complete any work in a home due to very poor follow-up customer service.

    Jeff was very responsive at first. Once appointments were scheduled, he and Brogdon were prompt and quickly and efficiently completed all the work. With money still left to pay on our bill and some unfinished work left, Jeff stopped responding to all texts and phone calls. We are now left with unfinished wiring work in our home. I believe that customers are writing their excellent reviews based on immediate completion of the work and not on issues that occurred after the work was finished. Clearly, once the main job is completed, Jeff does not want to be bothered with any issues. Brogdon did most of work in our home and is absolutely amazing. In fact, I would highly encourage him to start his own business and work independently. I would not rehire Hook It Up Audio due to poor customer service With follow up.

    Mr. Watts came quite a distance to help us out and was prompt, polite, and professional. He did a great job and was very thorough to make sure there were no surprises left for us by others that wired our well pump and temporary power box. He understood what we needed and swapped out the 50 amp breaker for a 30 amp breaker. We now have water at our construction site, which should help us get our house completed soon. Definitely recommend him.
