I absolutely love my kitchen. This is the second time that I had work done by chris havey..they also had done my master bath. I would definately hire them again. They are easy to work with...the finished projects are beautiful.

    Asa Stanford Inc
Asa Stanford is simply excellent and the customer service is outstanding. They show up on time, every day. They keep their word, and often exceed expectations. At the end of each day, the job site is cleaned, and all trash is removed. Additionally, they are very experienced and easily navigate through the unexpected challenges that arise during a remodel while staying true to their initial estimate. Bottom line: they perform high quality work at a reasonable rate. These guys are rock stars and I highly recommend them.

    Freedom Renovations Inc.
Maria & Chris (the owners) and their team were model professionals. The job was evaluated, explained to us, meticulously planned and executed within the schedule we set and within the quoted price. Maria's project team are experts at what they do, open, communicative and always with a smile on their face. I would easily recommend Freedom Restoration to anyone!!!

    Goldstar Kitchen & Bathroom
Called me back two and a half hours later.  Asked me what I wanted to do with the kitchen, I explained we needed just a refurb - new cabinets (want to price out the cost of different kinds) new countertops, new appliances, new bathroom fixtures possibly a new shower depending on the space we have for it.
He seemed immediately disinterested.  He asked me if there was a "Mr." that he could talk to.  I ignored him, he asked where I was located.  I explained where I was and that it was an empty house we plan to refurbish and sell.  He asked again if there was a "Mr." he could talk to.
I asked him why it mattered.  He said he generally just likes to "talk to everyone involved" and "discuss the plans with everyone" and I said that I'd be handling it.  He was evasive after that and randomly said, out of the blue, "Well if you're just fixing up a house to sell, I won't be the cheapest guy."  That just blew me away, I never even asked for the cheapest work.  This is the house we raised our children in, we love that house.  We want it to be beautiful and updated when we sell it with a full heart.  And this guy, so rude, won't discuss business with a woman, makes obnoxious and rude assumptions.  I explained how I was getting 5-6 quotes. He repeated again that he wouldn't be the cheapest.  I *never once* asked for cheap work.  His rude attitude totally blew my mind.
I just said, "Well, that's fine if you don't want the work then" and he said "Well, ok."
It blows my mind how unprofessional some people are.  No wonder some people don't succeed in life!

once and done right. We bought  a new home and the garage was unfinished.  We needed baseboard trim installed and Bill was recommend to us.  He came by, gave us an estimate and we accepted.  He came on the appointed day, did the installation and did not leave until we were satisfied.  He takes pride in his work and it shows in the finished project. He doesn't take shortcuts. It is done once and done right.

    Carolina Remodeling Services
The entire process from start to finish went very well.  The kitchen remodel took less than a week.  The subs that Tony uses are great to work with.  Dave the granite guy was very professional and does great work. The bathroom remodel took about 5 weeks from start to finish.  They had other jobs going on at the same time so some days no one came to work, but then other days they were there all day and then some!  We LOVE the results of the master bath.  The only thing we kept were the bathroom cabinets. We had them install new granite countertops, a soaking bathtub with tile surround, enlarge our shower and it is now all tile with frameless glass doors.  New mirrors, new tile floor.  We feel like we are in someone else's home!  Tony is great to work with. Very honest and very fair.  I would highly recommend Carolina Remodeling Services!

    ShelfGenie of Charlotte
The price of the shelving was astronomical. There were no additional charges. The estimate was free and so we basically didn't even use the money that we purchased the big deal for. We didn't get the shelving. They came out a couple of weeks after I purchased the big deal. I liked the concept of it. I just really didn't think that the finished product was worth 3 grand because all of the wood that is unfinished looks not finished. It was like cling wood that was being painted, that sort of thing. I just didn't think that it wasn't worth the amount of money that they were asking, not even near it. He was nice enough and went through all of the options and whatever and gave me a drawn diagram of what he would suggest for our pantry.

    Morris and Moffitt Inc
9/16/2014 - Met with a gentlemen named Jake for the first time.  Provided them with as much detail as possible including kitchen measurements and detailed sketch drawings of what we wanted.  Seemed professional and knowledgeable based on the initial meeting.
10/7/2014- After about 3 weeks of no response, I inquired with Jake and let him know my wife and I were "eager to get things in motion on these home projects" and if he was still interested in giving us a quote for the work.  I was told to "look for something by week end".  I also received a followup email same day asking about letting his "cabinet" guys come out and do measurements that same week.  The cabinet company was New Life Building Supplies, LLC.  Cabinet guys failed to make the first appointment.  I'm not sure if this was the fault of Morris and Moffitt or the cabinet company.  Cabinet guys finally made it the following Monday to measure and gave us the impression that we would have something by the end of the week.
11/6/2014 - Its now approaching two months since our first meeting and I still have no quote for either project.   I do not plan on using this provider as if the quoting process is any indication, these projects would drag out and take far too long.  Very disappointing experience overall.

    Tillman Woodworks
I wish I could give an A+++ rating in the fields above.....Jody is absolutely fabulous to work with. First, he did what he said he'd do - when he said he'd do it - and it cost what he quoted to start with.....he was totally "Drama Free."  He was also very prompt in the project and the contractor, nor any of his subs, was ever delayed by Jody.  I am easily overwhelmed with choices and details.....I am the type that once I have made a decision in renovations, "I'm good" for the next few years.  Jody simplified the process and patiently and professionally walked me through all parts of it.  He showed me the pros & cons of each item for discussion, then gave his professional recommendation.  I did not just tweak my existing kitchen.  I knocked out walls, ripped out the ceiling and floor, and have basically "re-created the wheel."  Jody, along with my contractor, was foundational in much of the structural decisions as well as the function and aesthetics of the project.  With cabinets being a major element in a kitchen and pantry, & a fixed element at that, I gave my budget priority in that area.  Though Jody's cost was a big percentage of my budget, his workmanship and cabinetry is very high-quality and I do not regret spending the money that I did with him.  If I had known that this massive project was going to be this easy with Jody's help, I would have done it much sooner.  I am now enjoying a much more spacious kitchen and pantry that is not only comfortably functional but absolutely beautiful!!   Should you be reading this review & trying to make decisions on an upcoming project, I promise that choosing Jody Tillman of Tillman Woodworks will be a great decision you will be proud you made.
