Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
Brandon, Arturo and Called went over and above what we expected. We we're living in the house when the repairs were going on. We have 3 dogs and the guys were always making sure the could get outside. I was notified with a time they would be here so we could take care of the animals. They were always professional and willing to explain what was going on that day. They also answered any questions that we had and explained everything they were doing. We we're luckey to get the guys that did the work during a very stressful time.

I had to get the Better Business Bureau and after that they did a really good job.  My last experience with them was maybe October of last year.  Smart Builders do quality work overall and lalo is extremely knowledgeable about HVAC, and dealing with PG, and dealing with rebates.  Overall I would recommend them based on the quality of their work.  However, I would caution that when they are doing your job, they are already thinking about the next four or five jobs that they have in the queue.  When I had issues they were really slow to reply.  To the point I had to get the Better Business Bureau and the state contracting licensing board to elicit a response.  When we did connect, they indicated that they were having issues with their phone system.  However I did send messages to them via cell phone, regular phone, email and text without a response until the state licensing contractors got involved.  Once they did respond, they resolved the issues amicably and professionally.  One of my other frustrations is that there were days that I waited for them to show up, so either they didn't show up or they showed up late.  Once again, overall once they did show up, they did great work.  Because of that, I would recommend Smart Builders but you might need to observe their work to make sure they are doing the job that you expect.

They did a good job. They did it efficiently and the people were professional. They did not cause a lot of interruptions. There were little things that had to be done with the plumbing. They came in and got it done. Their price was very fair considering they had to travel. They were very busy but they were accommodating and punctual. I could not ask for anything better. I will recommend them to anyone on the look out for a plumbing service.

    Water Quality Plumbing

I bought a big deal for this service. They came out a couple of times to do different things. They were expensive, but extremely good.  I was really grateful and we have better performance out of our drainage and water flow.

    CTS (Cantu Tile Service)
Throughout the project there were several days when he was not able to show up at all, one day inclement weather, the next a burst pipe at a relatives house, another not having the necessary materials to work, his storage unit was broken into and he had to file police reports etc. The list went on and on. There was one day where he did not show at all, did not call, did not text.

Throughout the project there were many issues both in craft, attention to detail and professionalism. But since we are summarizing I will address the major issue which cost us thousands of dollars. To begin our toilet in the master bathroom was removed and never vented, or covered so that the sewer pipe was exposed throughout the project allowing toxic fumes to come into our home for weeks. He failed to install the correct piping for an enclosed tile shower. We paid out of pocket for all materials, he purchased all of the plumbing materials himself. He installed PVC not PEKS which is what should be used in a tile shower. Since discovering all of his errors we have had to call another plumber to correct the damages which I will list. Timothy failed to cap the drain pipes under our house which led to drainage pouring out into the crawl space of our home for days. We only noticed this because the contractor couldn't find his drill, he had called to ask us if he had left it under our house. James Kozuch crawled under the house to find Timothy's drill along with the rushing water and feces coming from our drain pipe to the ground. Timothy had not capped the pipe, in addition, he had drilled holes in the pipe and attempted to saw it off. During the project we had to shower in the guest bathroom. We began to notice our only existing toilet was no longer flushing appropriately and bubbled now when we took showers. We called a service to pump our septic tank (an additional $225) but that was not the issue. They attempted to use their suction to remove "a large blockage" however he could not get the blockage out with 40 lbs of suction. Next we called a LICENSED plumber. After we called the NCSBOE to discover TIMOTHY CANTU was NOT in fact a licensed PLUMBER as he had advertised himself to us originally. The licensed plumber came out to discover the "large blockage" was the wooden circle that FELL THROUGH the vent pipe when Timothy was attempting to install our toilet vent. The licensed plumber found the 3" diameter wood circle lodged in our drain pipe along with along with a plastic bag that contained spacers for the tiles. Timothy was drilling to install the 1 INCH pipe in an attempt to vent our master toilet. The licensed plumber we hired after working with Timothy let us know that that size pipe was not adequate enough to drain our existing toilet. On Friday, February 27, 2015 Timothy was still not finished with the job but demanded payment IN FULL for the project. We still had not seen the shower turn on and therefor did not feel comfortable paying for a job in full that was not complete to our satisfaction.

The contractor verbally harassed my husband and I for 24 hours after we asked him to no longer contact us. He threatened to take us to criminal court for "stealing his drill" and to civil court for additional charges he thought were appropriate as well as the remaining balance (We paid him a total of $925 deposit to begin the job and we gave him an additional $500 during the project).

After hiring a licensed plumber and reputable contractor we decided to completely tear out what we paid Timothy Bryan Cantu to do and start over. If you google this contractor by name "Timothy B. Cantu" you will find his mugshots along with multiple criminal charges against him.

Please note I don't remember the exact date but it was May 2014. John was so nice & he did a great job. He worked really hard at unclogging our sink & getting the garbage disposal working. He offered to clean up but I told him not to bother. He gave me helpful tips as to what not to do & what not to put down the disposal so this doesn't happen again. He even put up with my friendly but wild dogs. That meant a lot to me as I did my best to control them & he recognized my efforts. Thanks John!

    Coastal Carolina Plumbing Of Washington
Returned calls promptly.  Called before arriving and arrived at scheduled time.  Was quite cheerful, especially given that it was the end of a long, hot day.  Very friendly, knowledgable and efficient.  Accepted American Express (very important to me) and actually gave me the 12 percent Angie's List discount (even though I had not mentioned the coupon until he asked where I'd heard about his business).  I definitely would use him again and will recommend him to friends.

My experience with them went well.  They are cheaper than others, and their response time is good.  Everything about them is good.  I have never had any problems with them.  When you call, you get Mr. Cox directly.  He still runs the company and answer the phone calls himself.  I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I called this plumber at the recommendation of a friend to unstop my drains. I said I thought it might need to be snaked. He showed up a few days later and told my son that the grease trap was full and needed to be pumped. $375 and a mess in my yard later, guess what? Still had same problem so I called back. A few days later he showed up again. He said that he needed to by-pass the grease trap. I said ok and got a call a couple of hours later because he needed to snake the sewer line since I still had same problem so $475 later I finally had an I stopped drain. AND a broken toilet. So I called again. And after I cleaned up the flood on my bathroom floor and the adjacent carpet he came a put in a new toilet. And left the old toilet for me to deal with--beside road. Actually had to put in a new cabinet in my bathroom because he changed the style of my toilet. No charge for that visit. Cost to me for hauling toilet to dump, new cabinet and carpet cleaning $250. Total cost $1100. Learned my lesson--now I will use Angie's list.

They are fantastic. They also do plumbing working for us. They're really good people. I just think the world of them. I was totally surprised by how super clean the people were. To do some of the venting work, they had to be working in the closets and remove some items, but when they left that day everything was put back in exactly like it should be. We have been their customer for years. The price on some major work that they have done for me was surprisingly low.
