  • He’s a scammer, charged me $2355 and did no work, said I needed to leave the house so they could clean and bomb it, turns out a 3 day job he said and they left shortly after I did( found out after I paid him) refused to refund my money and never gave me an itemized receipt of his work because he didn’t do any! I had not read all the bad reviews about him when he was in Concord, NC or Wake Forest and Raleigh, NC, he’s scammed a ton of people, he should be in prison.. I’m taking him to Small Claims Court and also filing a Police Report. Stay Away! Don’t be fooled by these value pack coupons, and check out people’s credentials and look at the equipment they bring to do the job, you also have to be licensed to do any of the mentioned work for each specialty, he was not of course.

  • It went fairly good. It had a few bumps to begin with but, there was a lot more damage than we though to begin with. Eric and Steven were very nice men to deal with even when I would get a little wild about things. It is a lot to deal with when your house is turned upside for awhile. Eric and Steven made it more bearable thank goodness. Everyone was great and hope I do not have to go through again. If I do know who I want to do my house again, 🤗

  • All employees have been exceptional dealing with me in a compassionate manner. This is the second time we have been flooded in a two month time.  Educated and explained everything being done and why. Used modern up to date methods of cleaning rugs and created a hanging troth for my orientals so they would not get wet again.  Corrected drying methods to eliminate and remove mold, explained and created drainage to prevent another occurrence.

  • Jeff Wolfe came to our home, did full inspection, reviewed details of what found under our house, provided quote and established start date.  Set all expectations up front.
    Jeff worked with us after the contract was signed.  He went out of his way to accommodate our needs, both cost and timing.  
    Two men showed up to do the work over 2.5 days. They were both extremely courteous and accommodating to a couple of changes we needed with visiting family.  
    The company contracted with local electrician to electrically connect the dehumidifier same day the installation was completed.
    American Basement & Crawl followed up with me to make sure we were completely satisfied.

  • We expected the audit to go well and it did. Our only disappointment was their inability to forecast the ROI. Without that information it is going to be hard for us to justify the improvements considering this would be a large investment. In retrospect it feels like we shouldn't have had to pay to get a proposal, but I was willing to pay the $100 for the information and I'm sure the company would credit the bill if we decide to move forward with them.

  • I provide my highest recommendation to Carolina Restoration Services.  I contacted Carolina Restoration Services on a Sunday afternoon about water damage at my house, and received a call back within 5 minutes.  Carolina Restoration Services immediately began the process of removing the damaged materials and started to dry the affected areas.  On a daily basis, the workers were always on time, professional, and courteous.  Due to the thoroughness of their efforts, I was 100% confident  that all damaged areas were dry before the repairs began.  Carolina Restoration Services did not provide any pressure on me to select them as the contractors to perform the repairs, but I did so because I was so impressed with the efforts to dry my home.  They provided  updates every step of the repair process, from working with the insurance adjuster to selecting replacement materials.  I had zero issues to bring up during the final walk-through with the Project Manager, and I am completely satisfied with the final product.

  • I have used Ken previously at both my home and at work (commercial property).  Would not have considered anyone else to inspect our new home.
    Ken is very professional and knowledgeable.  His inspections are thorough. Takes his time (about 3 hours at this location) to evaluate all things great and small, but is very willing to explain issues found, answer questions, or make suggestions.  He photographs everything, and incorporates into a report that is very detailed but easy to follow/understand.
    Radon test at this particular location came back with a high reading.  Ken was very helpful explaining both the results and the options available for mitigation.  He also offered suggestions on how to effectively work with the builder on the repair.

  • It went really well over all, the fans dried out the space & allowed us to mouse the family out. We were told how bad the molds were & what would be able to be saved & what would have to go. Sad, sad, sad situation.

  • We had a sink that was left on and overflowed while we were on vacation for 4 days.....needless to say we had quit the disaster!! We called "Disaster Response" and they sent Bryce out right away to evaluate our situation....What a joy he was to work with, he was very profession, courteous and a great person!!. I was in quite a panic that day, and he not only set my mind at ease...but he set our families mind at ease as well.  After he did his evaluation, Bryce and his group of technicians started the process. They started extracting the water that had flooded, set up proper drying equipment , along with setting up containment in all areas to prevent any contamination of mold in any other areas. Being new to a disaster situation, I didn't know what to expect, but Bryce walked us through step by step and explained how everything was going to work. They were extremely knowledgeable in everything they did and worked with our insurance company for us concerning our claim and how to handle it properly. More than anything, I felt Bryce and the whole Disaster Response group were there to help our family and get our problem resolved not only the quickest but safest way possible. Everyone from there company not only looked professional, but acted the same way. They are a great company to work with and I wouldn't call any other company to come to my home or be around my family if another disaster should happen to us. Thanks again "Disaster Response"...you have a customer for life and I will continue to spread the word about the great experience our family had with you!!
