ALet's Get MovingI am completely satisfied with the service provided by "Let's Get Moving", and have been in the past, using them for 3 previous moves. If you want a company who answers your e-mails and phone calls, and who schedules a date to come to your house on time, and provides efficient service, this company delivers. Kudos to Paul for great communication. The entire team, who came to our house, Matt, Theron, Jaquez, and Anthony each were organized, thorough, and professional. All of them took great care in their work. Upon delivery of the home goods, near the completion of the service, we asked Anthony to move our China Cabinet to another location in the home. AEast Coast Moving LLCI spent 20 years in the military with a move every 2 to 3 years. After my retirement I have had 6 other career moves. I know a lot about good and bad movers. Have to say East Coast moving is right in my top movers. The best thing you can say about a move is that it is hassle free. East Coast move was just that. The crew arrived on time, assessed the move and went to work. They coordinated among the three movers, took super care of my furniture and worked. No sitting around, no frequent breaks, just solid work getting my stuff from one place to my new home. Once they arrived it was like you put a movie in reverse. Everything went from truck to home in quick orderly fashion. The put up what was disassembled, and made sure everything was in place. No hassle, just quality work would definitely use them again.- Mike W.

APremium Moving, Inc.Premium Moving did an excellent job with our move from N.C. to FL. Jason and his crew packed up all the breakables and more in our 4-bedroom home as well as wrapped furniture for storage. The whole process was organized and efficient. A couple of days later Jason and Rick arrived at the storage unit and in about four hours the two of them had the truck unloaded and everything packed well into the units. The weight even came in under estimate. We were very happy at how well everything went from the time we first received an estimate to the final item being unloaded and stored. BG&J Moving and StorageGood overall, but -- we had a few problems with damage moving furniture into our new home. Biggest problem was damage to our stairwell wall, but G&J made it right with no argument. Also we had a few pieces of furniture scratched because it wasn't wrapped.- steven m.

ACarmack Moving & StorageIt made moving so easy. They arrived when scheduled and packed all my things one day and filled the truck the next. The packing was incredible. I had a lot of glass, dishes and furniture with a lot of glass. Everything arrived perfectly--not a thing lost or broken. The men who did the packing and unpacking were great--very professional and extremely careful and pleasant. The driver, Kirk, was with the packers and delivered the furniture. He was just wonderful--knew where everything was placed and great to work with. I thought the price was very fair. I cannot praise this company enough and would highly recommend them.- Shirley P.

ATown & Country Movers IncThe salesman/estimator was very informative. All charges and processes were clearly explained. He offered solutions that would save us money and or time. I took the extra time to go to the headquarters in Gaithersburg to sign the papers and to leave a deposit. I found the administrative staff was well organized and they introduced me to the dispatcher as well. He further explained the process to me. On packing day a crew arrived about 1 hour late due to traffic and finished what we were unable to complete ourselves (we packed as much as we could ourselves over about 2 weeks). It took all day, but we were paying by the box, not by the hour. The next morning a different crew arrived on schedule. They explained that the driver /crew chief had emergency surgery late the previous night (he was having some pain during the previous day). A new driver / crew chief was on his way, but the dispatcher assembled and accompanied a crew to get the loading started so that we would stay on schedule for vacating our home that day. After about 3 hours, the new team arrived and took over in a seamless transfer. Two days later we met the driver at the appointed time at our new home. He had arrived about 30 minutes early. The local unloading crew arrived at about the same time and the driver walked them through the house to orient them. The truck had been loaded so that the 2/3s of our belongings that went to the house were on the back of the truck, and the 1/3 that were destined for storage were at the front. Therefore unloading was pretty quick and well organized. By the end of the day everything was where it belonged and we bid farewell to our driver. The charges for the move were correct and there were no unexpected amounts on the bill. This was the smoothest move that we have ever encountered. All of the staff of Town & Country were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.- Robert d.

His employees Lindsey and Dontae, were very professional & take great pride in their work and efficiency. They make an AWESOME team! I highly recommend Budget Pro Movers to complete a one-day move! They moved things we didn't expect them to move. I can not stress enough how much I love the service you get with Budget Pro Movers. They are fast, courteous, and worth every dime. Moving out of our previous unit only took about an hour. Everything was handled with care, no damages, not even scratch. The most convenient part was the staging of the furniture. F**PLEASE, DO NOT BECOME VICTIM OF JACOB AND SONS. BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT/THIEVING/MORAL-LESS COMPANY.** I recently became victim to Jacob and Sons’ scam. If you care about your belongings, time and faith in the decency of others, please, take my experience as evidence and use another moving company. Jacob and Sons’ employees have no ethical boundaries, and I have no doubt they will soon be exposed. Jacob and Sons confirmed they had a Jacob and Sons branch and a secure/gated warehouse in New Jersey where they assured me that my items would be stored in a secure wooden crate in their facility, separated and protected from any other person’s items until I was ready to reach my final destination this Spring. Jacob and Sons also specifically told me that they do not hire third party companies to move their clients. All necessary criteria when I was choosing a moving company. On moving day, an aggressive man named Saul came to my apartment with my Jacob and Sons inventory list and demanded an additional $1,000. As soon as this occurred, I called, texted and emailed Jacob and Sons with no answer. I refused to pay the additional money but Saul agreed to move my belongings anyway. The entire move he treated my belongings like trash and broke several items. When I asked for my items to be treated with more care, Saul cursed at me and threatened to “throw my belongings on the side of the road and cancel the move all together.” I tried calling Jacob and Sons several more times, still with no response. After the distressing moving experience, Saul handed me paperwork with “Moving Express and Storage, Inc.” letterhead. After questioning the letterhead, Saul said he was hired by Jacob and Sons. I called Jacob and Sons yet again, still with no answer. I had signed a contract with Jacob and Sons, NOT Moving Express and Storage, Inc. I later googled “Moving Express and Storage, Inc” and encountered another traumatizing experience by reading the reviews at the link below. [*** Link removed ***] Moving Express and Storage has complaints of fraud, theft, bribery and extortion. I was lied to, manipulated, and scammed by Jacob and Sons. The next day, I called Marty, the Jacob & Sons representative I have been working with and there was still no answer. It has been over two weeks and Marty still has not answered one single phone call, text or email. After dozens of unanswered attempts, I was able to get a hold of Connie from Jacob & Sons Customer Service. Connie confirmed she had no idea who Moving Express and Storage was. Connie then stated that since I signed the paperwork from Moving Express & Storage on moving day, I was no longer contracted with Jacob and Sons, completely gaslighting me. Connie said that she was unaware of where my belongings were but she would “look into it.” Over the next few days, I had no idea where my belongings were. After several days, Jacob and Sons admitted that my belongings were in Moving Express and Storage’s warehouse in New Jersey. Jacob and Sons LIED about having a facility in New Jersey and I wanted to retrieve my belongings immediately. I drove to NJ to pick up my belongings. The Moving Express & Storage warehouse was FILTHY, and would likely not pass any form of quality control inspection (photos attached). I have items that are missing/stolen. There was water damage to my couch; my dresser, bedframe, cabinet, heirloom dresser and bench were broken, holes in boxes (photos attached). Since I have not yet opened all of the boxes rescued from the warehouse, I am still not able to determine the extent of all of the damage. Jacob & Sons is the ringleader of this entire scam. Jacob and Sons lied and did not fulfill one aspect of our agreement. Not only is Jacob and Sons refusing to accept any responsibility for what transpired, they are also refusing to refund the deposit I am owed. My calls have been ignored since I retrieved by belongings and now my emails are also being ignored. To Jacob and Sons Victims: Please report them to Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau immediately. I worked in the News for several years and am in contact with former colleagues in national news organizations that specialize in stories like this. We have a legal case and a moral obligation to expose this shameful “company.” With everything going on in the world, this is the last thing people should be worried about. This was a truly traumatic experience that I wish for no one else to experience.

AThey were simply amazing. Moving can be very stressful and they did a great job of making the process seamless. I called the company a few weeks before my moving date to schedule an appointment and I received plenty of information on what to expect. On the actual moving date, they were arrived on time with masks on as well as their large moving truck. They were communicative as to double checking what things we want moved and what we didn't, and they took really good care of our items. We had some larger things like bed frame, mattress, desk, etc. and they packed them very well. The unpacking process was also very professional and easy. Would highly recommend them and would use them again.

AAwesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Outstanding and would hire them again. Thank you!

APERFECT. The team was so fast and helpful. There was no damage to any of our items including the car they moved. Nothing was left behind and we were able to do a FaceTime walk through once they packed up our apartment. This is the second time we've moved with them and we could not recommend them more. AThis review is long overdue! Makin Moves was wonderful. We moved out of our large rental home and used a different company to move us out. It was supposed to be a two day move because of the closing date for our new house. We were so unhappy with the first movers that I called Makin Moves that day to see if they could do the unloading of the two large trucks the following day. They accommodated us last minute and had as many movers as I requested (and an extra one!). They protected our home and were so careful with everything. They were organized and efficient. The movers were so respectful and nice and honestly lightened the stress of the move by a lot! They went above and beyond - I think they knew how stressful our move had been, between having to move out before the closing date and having two toddlers and two dogs with us, to the awful movers we had before them. So they went above and beyond by making us laugh, complimenting our new house, and just being awesome overall. We cannot recommend them enough. They were actually a pleasure to have around. Oh and the job they did was fantastic.
