    PastorHandyman
I was unhappy with some of the work. For example, I asked him to replace ceiling tiles in the basement that were stained or chipped, and paint the tracks that hold them. I also asked him to touch up paint on trim. When he stated he was finished he asked me to come and look at the ceiling. I have extremely difficult circumstances in my life right now and I know that I was careless in my review of his work. A day or two later I noticed that two of the tiles which were chipped were not changed. When I called to ask him about it he said, " You approved the job." Explaining that I hadn't been careful enough with my review he said he would come by. A couple of days later he texted me that he was coming past my house and would stop in to fix them. He didn't show, and sent a text saying he was sorry he missed me and would have to reschedule. I don't know if that meant he came and we were not there or what. We were at home throughout the day, and the garage door was open. Perhaps we were in the back yard, however since he had worked back there it would make sense if he had come he would have looked to see if we were there. I later sent a text and a photo of the item in question reminding him that I felt he should stand by the quality of his work. Regarding the paint touch up, I had asked him to look at the trim and caulk and touch up the paint where needed. When, during the review I pointed out obvious undone places he said I hadn't mentioned those specific places. While he was here I asked about some other handyman items. He said he would estimate the job and get back to me. He did not do that (even before I mentioned the incomplete items). I believe his price was fair had he done what he said he would do. I resent being treated like this from someone who purports to be guided by Christian principles

    APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICE
.Came back a week later and diagnosed a bad thermal fuse and heater coil.  Heater coil cost $140.  Didnt charge us for the thermal fuse.  Again the dryer ran one cycle and stopped working.  Have since scheduled three appointments and he has no showed for all of them.  No phone call explaining why he could not make it.  I would not recommend his services to  anyone!!!

    JP's Plumbing & Heating
I called JP's Plumbing and Air Conditioning to diagnose a problem with
my heat pump in my new home. I was told that the cost for the service
was $69 for coming out. After about 5 minutes, I was embarrassed to find
out that the breaker was simply off (it was in a spot I never knew
existed...remember it's a new house of mine). He flipped the breaker and
I was told it was all good to go. When I went to pay the bill he said
it was $89. I told him that it was only suppose to be $69 but he said he
charged me $20 to flip the breaker. He then told me technically he's
suppose to just diagnose the problem, tell me the problem and give me
the option for him to fix it or not. He then said because it was so
simple that he just fixed it....and then refused to budge off of
charging me $20. I know that sounds like a little money but the
principle really bothered me. I tried to reason with him that it's
ridiculous to charge me $20 especially since he should have just told me
about it and I would have saved him the 2 calories he burned flipping
the breaker. I realized quickly that JP's would nickle and dime me to
    death.
Too bad. I had a $1000 plumbing job that I gave to JP's
competition. I also am installing a 3 ton new heat pump for my business.
If JP's would have been honest then I would have given them over $6000 of business. I'm just glad I found out what type of business they were sooner rather than later.
