    Coastal Home Renovations
We were very impressed with the finished look of the project. All of our ideas were incorporated in the design. We were not on site during the project but CHR handled everything. We were so pleased with their work that we have scheduled to have our other bathroom remodeled.

    DESIGNING WOMEN THE CAROLINAS LLC
This was a major design project in our second home, with a deadline for our daughter's April wedding. Marva Williams, owner of DWOTC, worked with me from the very beginning (Oct 2016) to give our house a much needed upgrade to "Coastal Chic" without being overly cutesy-beachy. As this was a long distance management project for me, Marva became my onsite eyes and ears, regularly sending text and photo updates. Her attention to detail in supplying detailed quotes and samples, room by room and item by item idea book, follow-up discussions and revisions, and personal responsibility for the security of our house was always professional and friendly with complete dedication to the success of the project and our happiness with the result. Always open to my ideas, Marva's own design sense and years of experience captured the style I desired for our home, and she worked out every detail with me, persevering until I was satisfied with the plans. Work began in early January 2017, and as I was not present for the messy interior work involving painting, flooring and bathroom vanity construction, and furniture deliveries, Marva managed her work crews efficiently and arranged for a thorough commercial cleaning after they were finished. She accepted my online purchase shipments at her office and brought them to my house in her almost daily 20 mi (one-way)commute. I was so pleased when I made my first on-site visit, about 6 weeks into the project. Marva had placed the new furniture and accessories, used existing bedding to make up beds, hung some existing art work, included a surprise custom embroidered sofa pillow, and even added a bouquet of fresh flowers to welcome me to my beautiful home. During my visit we worked together to identify punch list items and make new choices for the master bedroom furniture (Marva readily agreed to take back the first selections which were too big for the space). Additionally she worked with her specialty painter to redo the finish of the kitchen tabletop (650 year old cypress she had sourced!) The wedding deadline was achieved and the result is lovely-- a calm, cool, and charmingly comfortable home that we can enjoy for more than just summertime. Marva prepared all revised quotes and payment schedules, emailing scanned invoices and outside vendor (plumbing, electrical) bills to me for payment. Her initial deposit and agreement was fair and concise; accounting of payments to her were accurate and timely. At final project completion, sign-off and payment, Marva presented me with a notebook with room-by-room paint chips, information for furnishing fabric care, and warranties. Extra paint cans were labeled and stored in plastic bins. A delightful woman to work with, Marva has an endearing personality and good sense of humor, which contribute to her positive attitude. Her willingness to work long-distance and her trustworthiness were essential to the success of this project. I HIGHLY recommend Marva Williams and Designing Women of the Carolinas.

David did a great job! He was efficient and extremely neat and tidy. He was very detailed and the end result was a great backsplash in my kitchen that helped me sell my home quickly. The materials that he used were high quality. I would completely recommend him to anyone and in fact he has done some work for other family members of mine and they all seem very satisfied.

    Coastal Home Renovations
First, we want to say that the ENTIRE renovation was done while we were out of town!  Iwona and Pavel are so professional and trustworthy!  After COMPLETE demo of every cabinet, flooring, bath fixtures, lighting, window treatments, etc...they got to work right away.  They tiled ALL the floors - this required leveling compound and choosing grout colors.  They painted every wall, ceiling, and all doors and trim.  Iwona found us the exact kitchen cabinets we wanted.  The kitchen was a huge project in itself.  They had to take out everything, including the ugly fluorescent light.  Pavel designed a new canned light layout for us.  They installed quartz countertops, kitchen sink, under cabinet lighting, and disposal, etc.  The kitchen is amazing!  Iwona took time to meet Lowe's when they delivered the appliances.  She sent pictures while they were installing.  Pavel redesigned a very tiny shower for us - we feel it is now the nicest shower in the place!  He tiled this and another shower and replaced 2 acrylic tubs (one is a 6 ft. soaker tub!).  They are beautiful!  New toilets, vanities, countertops, lighting fixtures and framed mirrors complete the look in all 3 bathrooms!  Replaced all the doorknobs, and electrical plates, so they would all match.  Installed towel racks, hooks, and shelves in bathrooms.  They truly did everything and anything you can think of!  Our building manager made a point to tell us that Coastal Home Renovations was one of the best contractors he had ever had working in the building - they followed the rules, kept everything clean, and he never had a complaint.  This is a great comfort since we were out of town and had no idea what was going on day to day!  Most impressive was they did this complete remodel in under 4 months - completed everything on the our original wishlist, including the changes.

They were very prompt, arrived 10 minutes before they were scheduled and brought a whole crew of 9 and they worked both days to complete the job.  Jamie came with them on Monday to make sure they had all the colors correct and where to put them.  He also came back at the end to make sure everything was complete and clean.  They were very neat and cleaned up behind themselves.  I was very impressed with the details.

    Bruce Campbell Painting
Bruce is so trustworthy; he arrived when he said he would and worked diligently during the time he was here with just a short break for lunch each day; he was very professional but also easy to communicate with; I thought him a very fine man.
He was true to his estimates for inside and outside the house; he informed us about the the paint he was using and was overall informative about each paint he used.  I would use him for all paint jobs bar none and would highly recommend him.  It is so wonderful to have someone you can fully trust to keep their word in your home.
Both myself and my husband like him very much and appreciate his outstanding work and the fine man he proved himself to be.

Long's Painting of Little River Inc
It was a simple painting job, done on time and well. I gave a B in professionalism because I had to ask the crew to clean up a small amount of debris they left in the garage, but when I asked, it was done without complaint.

    Southern Custom Painting
George (Owner/Manager) very professional and prompt.  Tony (Site Manager) and his team were excellent in every way.  Very professional; very thorough.  Extremely wet weather (rain on about 80% of the days) proved to be a real test of the work crew.  They worked very fast but on the first day scheduled, when they might have finished the job in one day, heavy rain began during the early afternoon and they had to call a halt to their work.  It was rescheduled at least twice after that and again had to be postponed, through no fault of their own, because of more rain.  They were very persistent and were determined to get the job done as soon as possible.  The delays experienced served to say to my wife and I that this is a dedicated bunch.  After all the work was completed, we felt so positive about the results that we inquired about whether they did interior painting, which we have a need of in our kitchen.  If we can work out a schedule with them, we feel that we will probably go with them again for our interior work.,
