    It was making a pretty bad sound, but the tech found that it was just the drain line so it ended up being a minimal service. They did a good job, didn't try to take advantage. They could've told me it was something else, but he said it was just a clogged drain line. They only charged me for a service call. They were able to come out and solve my problem quickly without any real expense.

    It wasn't a very expensive repair, but they did have to replace a little part in it. He came out, and figured out what the problem was. He found a coupon online, and asked me if I wanted to use it. He did a $10 or 10 percent off. They honored the coupon and I will probably use them again to come out and take care of me. They put a sticker on it. They had quick response time. When I called, I think they were on another call, and they said they were in range. It was quick, and they came out within an hour of me calling. He said that they had someone over here all of the time and they have certain people working different areas.

    They were supposed to have had an answering service for after hour calls, but I had to leave a voicemail. The guy who called back the next day around lunch time, said someone had forgotten to set it up for the night. I understand people get busy, but when you're a customer you expect to be able to get your problem fixed. They didn't seem to care about the problem and their customer.

    The guys came out and were quick on the quote for the job. I (homeowner) removed the old HVAC system and duct work from the house and installed new collars/registers. Forest City Heating and Air came in and installed a new Trane heat pump HVAC system (15 SEER) in the attic with all new duct work and thermostat. During the install I decided to add a electro/charge type filtration system (Cleaneffects) to the unit. It was no problem for them to add the air cleaner, I just paid for the air cleaner unit and we adjusted the price difference. It took the guys 2 days to install the system. I requested that the system not be turned on and activated until my whole house was professionally cleaned as additional painting etc. was still in progress. It was no problem for them to work with me on this request and they came back out a few weeks later to start the unit up and show me how it works. The folks at FCHand A were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the install. I enjoyed working with them and I was surprised how quick and easy the whole process was. So far no problems, no complaints.

    . I have used this company for the last five years since the Trane I purchased from another company was a lemon and I was paying very expensive repair bills including Freon. Do Rite was recommended to me. They were honest. They were much more reasonable. The freon was much cheaper. I would NOT use anyone else. They do a through job. They are honest.

    My heat pump went out. It is a 2 turn heat pump. The owner, Clay McCraw, came out. I explained my circumstances. I am disabled and on a very limited income. He is an amazing person. He fixed my furnace for free! There are few people that would take the time to do what he did. He spent hours and completely repaired my furnace. He is a true gentleman and I am so thankful for him!

    This company gets an A+. Eric gave me a quote over the phone and then sent Jason out to confirm the price and the work that needed to be done. The crew showed up on time a replaced my old heat pump and ran some new wiring. The crew was polite and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Rutherfordton heating and air.

    WRIGHT HEATING & AIR COND
    Wright was sent from our home warranty company.  He advised that we needed a new motor on one unit and the second unit needed a tray and timer.  In September he said he placed an order for the motor.  We didn't hear from him for over three weeks.  When my husband contacted him, he said the part was on back order.  My husband believed him because he offered to give him the part number so that he could check the manufacturer.  When the part finally came in it took another week of calls to prompt him to come out to put the part onto the unit.  He made appointments and did not show up and did not cancel.  He eventually showed up three weeks ago on a Saturday. He never put the tray or timer on the upstairs unit, and never mentioned it.  When he p;laced the "new motor" on the main unit it popped.  He said he would come out the next day which was Sunday, but he never called or showed up.  He called Monday, which was Veteran's Day and told my husband that he forgot Monday was a holiday and all the stores where he would normally purchase parts would be closed.  My husband accepted that excuse, however he never told him he was coming Monday with a new part. He told him he would come Sunday with an old motor that was in his shop for us to use to stay warm until the new part came.  He said he would come Tuesday, but he never came nor called.  He said he would come Wednesday, but we could not be home from work that day.  We left a key for him to get into the house.  He came this day, but the motor he brought didn't work, and he found another problem and had to order a new part.  He never contacted us to let us know.  We found out after contacting our home warranty company who called him to find out what was going on.  They asked him to put a rush on the part as it is extremely cold in the house.  As of today, Thanksgiving, the part has not been replaced and he has not contacted us.  We will contact him tomorrow, but I'm sure he has a great excuse as to why he cannot replace the part, or his will say the part has not come in.  Buyer beware!

    They said it needed a part so they would put in Freon in and fix it the next day. They came to fix it the next day in while they were fixing iti they destroyed another part so after they left the Freon leaked out... When they came back they fixed the part they broke and added more Freon and charged us $600. We resented paying for their mistake.
