    Timothy Mead, LLC
Prior to that he also did the carpet in my bedroom and installed tiles in both of my bathrooms. It went very well. It was great. Outstanding. Price was awesome. I asked around and he beat everybody's price.

    Grants handyman service
Excellent! Always on time, very polite, professional and trustworthy. Very Reasonable rates and had all the tools he needed to work on our home. We are hiring him again to do additional work for us and have recommended him to several clients and friends.

    Shamus
Shamus and his helper came out on time. They unloaded and placed the flooring through out the house. Over the next 2 days they put down the flooring in all of my rooms. Here is the amazing part, THERE WERE NO TRANSITIONS FROM ROOM TO ROOM. This may not seem like a big deal. But this is a very difficult thing to do. Even the two big box stores said they could not install in without using transition trim. So we were very pleased with the out come.

    New Earth Flooring
Joe Hallock, the owner, was the only one that responded to my request on Yelp for a quote. Joe was always very professional and pleasant. His quote was competitive with others I had obtained from companies out of Charlotte. He communicated his schedule up front and was always on time. One thing that separated Joe from the others is that he was willing to move furniture before and after the floors were refinished. He offered a complete "turn-key" solution to my flooring problems. Joe and his team did an excellent job of replacing a few damaged boards and then refinishing the entire area. He kept to his original schedule and kept me informed of any changes. The final bill came in a little less than the quote because time spent moving furniture was less than expected and a few other items on the original quote ended not being needed. They took good care to drape off the rest of the house in order to minimize the spread of dust. Overall, I'm very happy with the work and would highly recommend New Earth Flooring. I will use them again for my floor refinishing needs.

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
We had begun noticing cracking in the tile floor of our sun room with cracks running perpendicular to each other, and some of the trim work was pulling away.  Additionally, rather than running off the deck away from the house, rain water that hit the deck had begun running toward the house and under it.  Falcone came out at our request to investigate and to give us an estimate on needed repairs.  We live approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours from Charlotte up in the mountains.  Falcone gave us a date and time for the visit and emailed a confirmation with a short video about the person they were sending out to give us the estimate.  He came right on time, was exactly what we expected and was very engaging.  He gave us a thorough explanation of what the original builder had failed to do during the construction process and of what was needed to repair the problem.  He employed terminology to which we could relate and gave us an exact estimate for the work.  We were quickly sent via e-mail a copy of the contract with the exact estimate we were given.  Once we decided to proceed with the repairs, they were prompt in scheduling the work and, again, arrived to begin work exactly when they said they would.  The work took 7 business days and the crew was very faithful and prompt each day.  The team leader of the project let us know each day what had been done that day and when the crew would return the next day, as well as what was going to happen next.  He also gave us a cell phone # at which he could be reached after hours in case we had any questions.  All of the guys on the crew and the team leader were highly professional and very courteous.  Any questions or concerns that we had along the way were answered immediately and patiently and to our satisfaction, although we had very few questions or concerns because they had already given us thorough explanations of everything before beginning the work.  Given that this is early December and that we live in the mountains, the weather was somewhat chilly and damp at times and the work was sometimes muddy.  We heard no complaints and their attitudes were great!  In fact, they seemed to really enjoy their work.  When the work was completed, the crew cleaned up the area thoroughly, leaving no mess behind, and then showed us pictures of the actual work done under the house.  Having to have such extensive and expensive work done, because another individual had not done what he was supposed to do several years ago, was a hard pill to swallow; however, Falcone gave us discounts because of the amount of work being done.  Additionally, while it was originally thought that we were going to need 14 piers put in, we ended up needing 15.  Falcone honored the original contract mentioning nothing about an extra charge for the extra pier.  It was also discovered that a drain pipe needed to be extended several extra feet beyond where it was originally thought needed, and, again, Falcone charged nothing extra.  Dealing with Falcone has been a vey positive experience and we will not hesitate to call on them again in the future!!!

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
We got several estimates from very reputable companies but felt most comfortable working with Fred.  We actually got our first estimates about 18 months before beginning the work.  Fred came back in January and gave us an updated estimate.  Falcone?s work crew came about two weeks later to begin the work.  They always arrived on time and worked hard from the minute they got here until they left.  Our work took almost five days and when they left they had cleaned everything up very well.  Our crew leader Joe was very knowledgeable and took time to explain anything that we asked about.  He even stated that when they returned in a month or so he would replace some insulation that needed to be replaced.  He also said they would follow up again a few months later to check for settling.  There were several guys working here but we only remember Joe, Shane, Fred, and ?D? by name.  We?d like to thank all of the crew for the excellent job they did.  We still have not crawled around under the house to take an up close look, but up inside the house the cracks are mostly gone and the floor is much more stable and level.  We are now able to close a bathroom door that we have not been able to close for years!  We are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Falcone.

    Scott Riley Builders Inc
If you are looking for professionalism and excellence, Scott is your man. We had several consultations to work out the job details, which were all documented (see above) before signing the agreement. When choosing tile, countertops, cabinetry (kitchen), Scott would meet us at the supplier and assist. His selection of subcontractors was excellent - friendly, honest, good people. Scott was ALWAYS with the crew(s) on site. He was never moving between jobs - he does only one job at a time and sticks with it until completion. Scott required that all floors be covered while workers were on site and everything was thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. At the end of the job, ALL trash was removed. Scott allowed me to handle selected small jobs to keep my cost down. He also allowed me to purchase large hardware pieces (bath cabinets, bath tub, light fixtures, mirrors, range hood, kitchen sink, faucets, etc) to save money. We did make a change to the job description - when looking over countertop material, we decided to with a crystal composite rather than granite. This change did not negatively affect anything. Before starting the job, Scott provided a detailed calendar showing us exactly when each crew would be on site. He stuck to the schedule very well. This was very valuable to us. We are 100% happy with the completed job. All work is the highest quality. I will definitely use Scott for any future remodeling work. I really enjoy working with him.
