He fixed one large crack that I called him out for. Then when I asked him about another small crack/scratch the tech said they didn't need to fix it. When I pressed him, he put some stuff inside the crack and smoothed them over. It concerned me that I had to press him to seal the small scratch.

I carried my Odyssey on the date and exact time requested. I was advised it would take about 3 days. It started out taking exactly that, 3 days, until the day I was called to pick it up. Upon arriving to pick up my vehicle, it was sitting in front of the office. I noticed immediately upon walking up to the vehicle that there were paint circles like someone had made paint circles with a paint gun on my center seat sliding door on the drivers side. As I walked around the vehicle I found 3 areas where the clear coat that is sprayed on top of the paint for protection had run down the areas and dried, very obvious. To top all this off, this was not even the original color. There were areas where the paint felt rough and unfinished, particularly the handles where you grab to open the door, unfinished on the back side of the handles and around the edges of the doors. The ding removal and the pinstriping had not even been done. I requested the provider to come out and discuss the problems with me. He was very disagreeable with me, argumentative, trying to tell me that I got just what I paid for, that had I wanted a $3000 or $4000 paint job, there would not be any problems. I was never asked if I wanted a $4000 paint job, my husband had asked how much it would cost to do a repaint. He was the one who advised he would paint it for this price, as he was building his business and he was having to compete with some of the larger body work businesses and he was doing this to get some of the business from them and some of the insurance company business. His shop had done some bumper painting on my husband's truck earlier, which turned out well. This job was not even closely comparable to the job done on his truck. We asked if the paint guy was still working here, as it did not appear to be painted by a professional. He finally agreed to fix the problem after arguing with me for 30", but I would have to wait for 2 weeks. I carried it back after 2 weeks, he kept my vehicle for another7-9 days, not 3 days that he agreed to have it done by, calling me on the 3rd day stating he would have to keep it another few days, which ended up being longer than the original time to paint the whole vehicle. I stopped in after another week, as I had not heard fr om him, to find out what was going on, to f ind my car sitting outside the garage on the side of the building like it was finished, in 98 degree heat with all the windows rolled completely up, over 105 degrees on the inside of the vehicle, with nobody working on it. It now has severe clear coat runs all over the door he was suppose to have fixed and the front adjacent door!! The runs in the previous places had been fixed, but he then created more runs. He had not fixed the dings or the unfinished rough feeling paint areas. I agreed top just let the dings and the unfinished rough feeling areas I found from the first paint just slide, just asked that he fix the paint circles all over the door and the clear coat runs. He had replaced the pinstriping with a different color larger pinstripe and put it in the wrong place, as the previous place where he had removed the pinstripes had left cuts and scratches in the body and was visible through the new paint. The second time I picked up the vehicle, I was very upset to say the least at having to wait a whole week for my car to find it in this condition again. He was very rude and argumentative, saying this was the best it could be done. I asked why would you go to the trouble to fix the clear coat runs on other areas you messed up, just to make more clear coat runs on the door you were suppose to be fixing. He said the runs could be WASHED OFF! I asked him to take it back to the garage and wash it off for me and he argued that he did not have time to do it. I added that if he would let me use the hose, I would do it for him. He walked off into his office and went over to discuss another mans vehicle with another customer, leaving me standing outside in the 98 degree heat. I went to the garage to find out what was going on and the body shop painter came out to help me and I explained my dilemna to him. He advised the clear coat would have to be sanded down and repainted, it could not be washed off. He went to get the owner again to come back over to talk with me, at which time the owner belittled his own staff, callilng him stupid and belittling his paygrade stating that at $5 an hour, he had no idea what he was talking about. By this time I am so fed up, I had to leave. I told him I had to have my car to go to an out of town Drs appt., but I would bring it back when I came back home for him to get it right. He advised he did not know when he would be able to get to it. I took this to mean that he was not going to fix his screw up. I carried my car to another body shop upon leaving his shop and had the owner of another body shop to look at the runs on my car and was advised that the door would have to be sanded down and repainted again, with paint and clear coat. While looking at the door, he also noted that there was fine mist paint on my tinted windows where the spray blowing from the sprayer had gotten on the windows because they were not properly covered. The paint was full of trash. I was told that the person who painted my vehicle should give me my money back, that it was a lousy paint job. I was going to carry this man to claims court, as he had written on the contract that he would fix all these problems when I paid the bill on the first date I went in to pick the vehicle up, but my husband talked me out of it, stating that this would just be a learning lesson. My car still looks like it did on that last day I picked it up. All I can say is my car has paint on it but I actually would have rather had it like it was originally with the paint thinning from age than the way they have it looking now. Wrong color, trash in paint, paint on windows that won't come off, and clear coat runs on top of the new paint. What a learning lesson! BEWARE OF THIS PAINT SHOP! THEY HAVE NOBODY WORKING THERE THAT IS PROFESSIONAL OR KNOWS HOW TO PROPERLY PAINT A VEHICLE!

I don't think it was the tech's fault but he couldn't fix one of the cracks.
