DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I had a Mohs procedure that entailed a skin graft. The doc and staff were comforting, professional, and excellent at doing the procedures. The basal cell carcinoma was smack dab on my nose, so I was very nervous about everything. It's 2 1/2 years after the procedures and people who don't know can't tell I've had a skin graft. Those who do, hardly notice a difference. Dr. Housman and staff made a frightening time much more bearable.

Best surgery ever. Did two inches deep with several layers of stitches in leg, four inches long.  Four years later there's no sign of surgery.  She's not just a MOHS surgeon, she's outstanding, with good bedside manner, thorough, and can't say enough good things about my experience.  I drove an hour and a half to see her and would refer anyone to her for skin surgery. from

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Personal and family history of melanoma and other skin cancer.  Had an atypical spitz nevus that needed to be excised to rule out melanoma.  Absolutely oustanding from start to finish.

She is highly specialized surgeon and a board-certified dermatologist. You go to your dermatologist and she will see if you have skin cancer and then they send her over to Dr. Housman. She can do amazing things with the skin cancer on my nose. The only time I have had to wait is when she is doing surgery on other people. I will definitely continue to go to her in the future.

I am going for follow up visits for my skin cancer surgery.

I went for an initial consult, based on a referral from another doctor, and from reading the website, and saw Dr Housman, who advised me that I could not have MOHS surgery, since that is in almost all cases only for basal cell or squamous cell cancer. With melanoma or suspected melanoma, they do a conservative excision, which means the whole suspected area plus a margin to make sure nothing spread...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Dr Housman was recommended for needed surgery on my leg, based on a history of melanoma, and a possible recurrence called an atypical spitz nevus. She is a skilled MOHS surgeon with a great reputation and lengthy training in MOHS surgery, not just on the job training. She did perform the surgery, though with my situation I couldn't have just MOHS. I required deeper surgery, right away, and the results were both positive and phenomenal with no scarring, despite the three inch long, two inch deep incision in the back of my leg. What a great doc/surgeon!!

I really love her. She was low key and easy going. I like doctors like that and she didn't look at me like she wanted to know what I thought I knew. The whole office is very calming and efficient. I feel like I have known them my whole life because they call me by name when I walk in. She explains everything to me. She is nice to the people that work with her. If someone makes a mistake, she would...
