Replaced my white front porch railings with white vinyl railings, and replaced a side deck with white vinyl railings and composite light gray flooring and steps. At my request he also extended the side deck railings and flooring to meet the front porch to create a wrap-around porch. In addition, he replaced rotted door trim with composite trim on the door to the side deck, which is off my kitchen nook; and repaired rotted sub-flooring resulting from leaking due to the rotted trim. This included completely removing my kitchen nook french doors to do this work, and then reinstalling them. He did warn me he may not be able to save my vinyl kitchen floor after repairing the rotted subfloor, but was able to do so. I am extremely pleased with the results, which is high quality work beyond my expectations. I elected to stain the existing poles on my front porch and all the new wood for the extension myself, so he gave me his recommendations for the type and quality of stain to use.
When he provided the estimate, he told me up front exactly what he was going to do. Before he started the work he showed me the vinyl railings he was planning to use within the estimated, and after answering my questions I decided to use the next step up in railing quality. He reworked the estimate based on the new cost. He answered all the questions I had while he was working; and asked me questions/my opinion as necessary. He was personable and professional. We had tornados in our area just before he started the work and he started to receive alot of calls, but he committed to complete my work before he moved on to those jobs. He asked my permission to leave his trailer parked in front of my house for the days he's working, which was over a holiday weekend. He cleaned up all the debris after he was done.
