    SARE Granite & Tile
First of all EVERYONE was pleasant to work with and professional. We absolutely love our beautiful new kitchen. David made sure it was just like we wanted before collecting the last payment installment. David was so nice and a good supervisor. The workers were all friendly, called before coming each day, cleaned up aftwrwards, and accepted advice and correction with a wonderful attitude. They worked to please. One day we felt that too many workers showed up together, each doing different things and getting in each others way. That was the day a drawer was broken, and had to be re-ordered, taking an extra two weeks to come in. Granite and tiling is their strength. Carpentry is the weaker link. However, when all was finished we loved the final product and I would use them again.

    B Greene Builders Inc
This was a very positive building experience. We met with three contractors and decided to go with B. Greene not only because Brad answered our questions thoroughly, gave us a very detailed quote and seemed very experienced and knowledgeable, but we liked his calm, easy-going demeanor. We felt he'd be pleasant to work with. Brad may be easy-going, but he's on top of everything and kept the job on track and moving smoothly. His craftsmen were professional and friendly and we felt very comfortable having them in our home. The site was left clean and neat every night. Brad gave us some good advice and suggestions during the project and was always available by phone immediately or very soon after a call, to answer questions, if he wasn't on site at the time. We've built two homes and have had various small construction jobs done over the years, but this was the best project to date. So much so that I've even thought about building another house, something I said I'd never do at this stage of my life. But I expect it would be a relative breeze if B. Greene was the contractor.

    CT Enterprises Construction LLC
We contacted CT Enterprises based on reviews seen here.  The owner, Chris returned our call quickly and we set up an appointment.  When he arrived (right on time) he went over the details of our proposed project of adding a new bathroom to our home.  He was clearly very knowledgable and gave good suggestions and alternatives to our own plans.  He answered all our questions and gave us plenty of time to go over everything thoroughly.  His quote came in quickly and we appreciated the great detail which made it easier for us to know exactly what we could expect for our money.  Overall, a very good experience

    Transylvania Builders, Inc.
David Carter was excellent to deal with.  He is very professional and skilled.  He was friendly, reliable and easy to work with.  He had creative ideas for how to redo some existing problematic design in the kitchen and bath.  He coordinated the work of electrician, dry-wall and plumber.  He was always here when he said he would be and cleaned up as promised, including hauling away material from his work as well as that of the subs and other workers who were here.  Price was under his estimate and he was willing to be here when it was convenient for us and come back after-hours when needed.  He was efficient with the work and completed everything on schedule.  His subs were also great to work with and as professional and skilled as he was.  I will definitely use him again.

    Mac Pherson Construction Inc
I found Mr. Smith to be arrogant, rude and overbearing. He came into my house criticizing it and stated frankly that it wasn't much of a house and had no interesting artichectural features. He began immediately trying to sell me sky lights and other items that I neither wanted nor needed.
After having the subs to my house, it took more than two weeks before Mr. Smith got back to me with estimates and proposals. I questioned him about the estimates and sent several emails with specific questions about the estimates and what was or was not included. He never responded to my emails and days would pass before he returned phone calls.
I checked with one of the subs and learned that the bid they had proposed was $6,000 less than the estimate Mr. Smith had forwarded to me. I questioned Mr. Smith about this and again asked for an explanation of the difference. I felt that I could never get a straight answer from him. Neither could I get dates of beginning and completing the projects. I continued to experience Mr. Smith as being a bully and unprofessoinal.
Finally I sent Mr. Smith an email and told him that I wanted an itemized contract with all of my questions resolved before proceeding with the work. He did not respons to my email and did not call. The next morning he came to my door, did not knock or ring the doorbell and removed his lockbox, leaving my key under the door. I only knew that he was at my door because my dogs barked. When I went to the door I saw Mr. Smith leaving. He never contacted me again after that. The sub-contractor I had spoken with (a very reputable local contractor) told me that he was also rude to them and were glad not to be working with him on this project.
