    The only complaint that I have is that they take a bit of time. It takes them a while. I could probably get it done cheaper somewhere but I prefer getting it done with them since I bought the cars there. I know they have had recalled items before and they've not always scheduled them. I've called to schedule them and they would say they are not scheduling anything at this time.

    Everything went excellent. They were ahead of schedule and also took into account that I was waiting with the vehicle to speed things up. Also, unlink some other places, they did not try to sell me anything I did not need.. Very fair and honest.

    I have been using Royal Coach since 2012 when I moved to Southport, NC. During that time I have relied on Jay and the gang to replace the transmission, replace all the engine gaskets and overall take care of my 1965 Olds. I had a slight vibration at high speeds with my Olds and had Jay check it out. He found the tires were dry rotted, which is common on classic cars that sit in the garage more than they are driven. The old tires were 12 years old. I shopped around on the internet for the correct tire, had them delivered to Royal Coach by the local distributor. Royal paid for the tires, checked my rims and found 2 of them were slightly bent, which they put in the rear, installed and balance the tires for less than I was quoted by the tire dealer where I bought the tires. That is greatly appreciated. This is a great customer friendly business.

    See above. If they had been honest from the get go and said they were unsure and we should go to the dealer for the computer diagnostics and software we would have respected their honesty and returned for other repairs. Instead they used our car as a guinea pig and charged us exorbitant fees for their trial and error. In the end the problem wasn't fixed and we are out over $2000. We willNEVER use them again nor recommend them to anyone else.

    This review is not about a single repair - I have been taking my car(s) to Capital Automotive since 2007.
    I had a Jaguar that, at 60,000 miles needed a new transmission. Mike did a fabulous job on the work. That Jaguar was a boatload of heartache and whenever anything went wrong, Mike was able to diagnose it and fix it. Every time.
    My car now, fortunately pain free, goes to Mike for maintenance. I expect to own this car for many years to come because of Mike's capable and always professional knowledge and work.
    If you care about your car and are looking for someone who knows cars, inside and out, I can't recommend Capital Automotive highly enough. Worth traveling to if you're not in the neighborhood!

    Fast scheduling, quick turn-around. We've been going to Royal for about 10 years. They've kept our old car alive and in wonderful operating condition for far longer than we'd hoped, and they've been real helpful in keeping the costs very reasonable. Our newer car is getting the same quality attention, and maintenance cost has been negligible without sacrificing any of that quality. We love working with Royal and we love their service.

    Very professional, and skilled staff. They kept me informed at every step of the repair. I do most of my own work and I had figured this repair should cost around $425.00-$475.00. The battery was a little expensive, however I'm used to Wall-Mart brand and this is a higher quality battery.

    .They were recommended by our neighbor and we have come to trust them on what needs to be done. He tells me if something is wrong even if it doesn't need to be fixed right now but may be something to watch for. He is good.

    Garage seemed to be efficient and clean. I suppose the work performed was needed, however, it would have been nice to actually see what was nesessary rether than a phone call. My bad for not being more proactive but, whatever,,,

    The last time I went there was for an oil change, and a general check up. They did their job well, and got me going. They usually prefer to make appointments in advance, so it takes some time for me visit them. Their price is reasonable, and the quality of work is good.
