  I was extremely pleased with this company!! When I called, Michelle answered and addressed all of my questions, provided pricing information, and promptly scheduled my appointment. Email reminders for the appointment were even sent out. The technician, Bob, was unbelievably skilled, detail-oriented, and personable. Not only did he install the opener, but he spent a lot of time making sure that my door was adjusted properly and corrected a few issues caused by another company that I had unfortunately used in the past. On top of it all, I felt that the pricing was very fair. I've used other companies, and the team at Garage Door Specialist really stood out in comparison. I will definitely be using them for any future needs and suggest that others do the same.

  Office was very prompt in returning my message to set up an appointment, with an appointment available same day 2-4pm. Technician called to see if he could come early, which worked better for me as well. He arrived within the time frame he said, gave me options for the replacement and answered questions I had. Got to work immediately and completed the replacement (including removal of iDrive system and components, which had a completely different spring mechanism) in a timely manner. Upon completion, he cleaned up the work area well and showed me how to use the basic functions of the new opener. Very happy with the service and the product thus far.

  From the initial phone call to the payment receipt I was very impressed with Precision Door. The technician was knowledgeable, explained my options clearly, provided clear pricing and helpful opinions on how to proceed. He was efficient in his work and was very detail oriented in fine tuning everything before he left. I would definitely hire this company again and recommend them highly. The length of ownership warranty on the torsion assembly is great too.

  Choice Home Warranty

  I'm not happy with them. I am still using them but I want to change. I'm looking for some better ones. They don't cover anything and I have to pay for more stuff. They are cheaper, that is the only plus, and they respond very quickly, that is the only plus signs. Other than that, I have to pay for more stuff. They say, "this is not covered, that is not covered". If you look in the warranty, they say, "if you look in the contract book, this page, this page, this page, this is not covered". It is very much like I have a happy feeling that I have a warranty, but then it does not cover anything. Last year my garage door would not open. I called them and they came. Responsiveness is very quick, very immediate. They email, they call you and all that stuff. But when the person comes they say, "that is not covered, you have to pay from your pocket, if you pay, I will do it". Because they came out they charged me $45 for that. Then he charged me again because it was not covered.

  Precision Door Service

  When we called, we informed that our garage door spring was broken & it needed replacement. We spoke with 2 different person. The first person quoted $75 Service Fee (which included 25 point inspection) & $165 for replacing the spring. In spite of telling her that we got their number from Angie's, she did not offer the discount. After about 30-45 minutes & after comparing quotes from other vendors, we called again about Angie's discount. She honored $40 price for Service Fee & also quoted $165 for the springs. However, when the technician arrived, he said we have to replace both the springs for $165 each, and pay additional $60 for labor apart from the $40 service fees (Total=$430 instead of initial quote of $205). He also mentioned that they always recommend replacing both the springs when they go out for repairs. This was never explained to us by any of the person over the phone. Apart from that, the technician tried upselling even more repair options for over $700 where they would replace all the rollers, bearings, etc. When we denied the service, he insisted that we owed him $40 to come out & take a look at the garage door. Definitely not recommended.

  Fantastic!!! My opener burned out last night. I called as soon as they opened this morning and had all the work completed by 200 the same day. The owner, Brian, is very professional and responsive. He was great about working around my schedule. The prices were very reasonable and he mentioned his appreciation for Angie's List customers. This is a small business owner who clearly takes great pride in his business and customer service. So nice to see this these days. I can see why this company has so many great reviews. Will definitely use again if needed and will refer this company to my friends.

  The job estimator and installer came at the appointed times, were friendly and now we have a quiet, attractive garage door. We did find a few loose screws around the driveway and yard areas. There a few minor issues with paperwork and the estimate should have had more details without my prompting for it. They were responsive on the phone as well as e-mail.

  Precision Door Service

  Cliff arrived promptly, was very courteous and professional.   He worked efficiently, and within an hour he had finished both the tune-up and the additional job of replacing the springs, etc.  The performance - and the NOISE - of my garage door opener was much improved.  As well I could now manually lift up the door (in the event of a power outage) easily instead of struggling with the weight of it.  Four days later (Friday) I found the motor light blinking on and off repeatedly and I couldn't get it to stop.  I called Precision Door again and was told they couldn't come out until Monday.  (This was the corporate answering service in FL and they were not very courteous or helpful.)  I was able to reach the office in Morrisville which was unbelievably helpful, and the person was very courteous.  She immediately located Cliff, and because he happened to be within five minutes of my house, he was there in five minutes.   It turns out that my garage door opener motor's circuit board had been "fried" by a power interruption the night before during a thunderstorm.  Cliff arranged to have the time to replace the motor right then.  So, an hour later I was all set.  I essentially had a totally new garage door opener system, including two remotes and an outside keypad.  And now when I open my garage door it is so quiet I can hardly hear it.
  I am very pleased with the service I got from Cliff.  He is courteous, efficient, a great trouble-shooter and he went the extra mile to help me out on Friday.  Great customer service!  I highly recommend Precision Door's Morrisville operation.  I do wish they could shake up the corporate answering service to be more courteous and customer-oriented.

  All American Overhead Garage Door

  He didn't really do a lot of work.  All he did was spray some lubricant on the tracks and it made the garage door quieter.  Next time I purchase a deal on Angie's List, I am going to be more specific with what I am asking for.  He was very polite and punctual, but I feel like he spent more time trying to upsell me than actually giving my garage door a tune up.

  All About Garage Doors

  Went great!  I had concerns with a squeaking sound when the door was in operation.  The technician verified it was in the spring mechanism, but said it was still functioning correctly, advised that i could keep using it with the squeak and did not try to charge me for unnecessary repairs.
