  • Classy Critters: For about a year they did a great job. However, the last time we took her there, they said they got soap in one of our dog's eye. When we picked her up, she was squinting from her left eye... she couldn't open her eye. (I have a photo of her). I called them and they said they forgot to tell us that they got soap in her eye. She couldn't open her eye so the following day, we took her to the vet. I was concerned that she had damage to her eye. The vet examined her and determined that she did have a scratch on her eye and needed antibiotic eye drops for the next 4 to 5 days…$105 later for the vet bill. I waited a couple of days (because I was waiting to see how long it took to resolve) and then stopped in to speak with Stephanie and Pam (the owners). They were unwilling to offer anything to us for their mistake. I could not believe it. We had paid for the grooming and then had to pay for a vet bill too. Completely unprofessional. (We have two small dogs that we had been taking there every two to three weeks for the last year and spending over $108 each time we had them groomed.) It is amazing that they would not try to save this business. They acted as though they did not care at all. We will not be returning to Classy Critters.

  • One year ago I made my first grooming appointment with Snooty Pooch. Since then, I have been taking my small dog on a monthly basis and my big dog a couple times a year to get groomed here. I did have a problem with this business on my very first visit. I showed up on time and no one was there. I called the business phone & her cell phone, but no one answered either one. My dog & I ended up going home bewildered. Since it was my first time there, I gave her the benefit of the doubt & called the next day to reschedule the grooming. Julie apologized and told me that there was a problem with her car. She also said they have problems with the business phone so they really use their cellphone for business. I continued to take my dogs there. Each time she would take hours to groom my dog. It was a long wait for my senior dog, but I liked Julie & Anthony so I still went there. Fast forward to three days ago. Appointment was @ 11:00 and I went @ 10:30 because I had a doctor’s appointment that I had to get to. Again, no one was at their business. I left a message on her cell phone. I drove back @ 10:45 & tried again. Still no one there and no replies to my voicemail. I took my dog home without a groom. I called Julie the next day & she apologized for not being there. She said she had to go to the doctors, and thought that Anthony had texted me to reschedule. She also said that Anthony thought that she had texted me. Again, I forgave her and was able to make a new appointment for today @ 11:30. She was actually there when I arrived. Julie again repeated her apology & I told her that I understood how life can be. Lack of communication between husband & wife is a common problem. I offered to help her set up a different way of making appointments. Also, I told her that she could have responded to my voicemail & she said she never even heard it! I don’t believe she even checks her cell phone at all. Suddenly, her personality just switched & she started screaming at me. She said I was always mean & nasty to her which is so untrue! I adored her so much I gave her a big dog statue for her waiting area. I also gave her & Anthony a special check at Christmas so they could go out to eat. I’ve always gone above & beyond with Julie. Her outburst made me ask her, “What did I say?” Julie was so out of control, she just kept screaming, “Get off my property!” She went outside carrying my dog without her harness or leash on & put her in my car. She also threw a check at me. I told her that it was not my check. She got even madder & came back & grabbed it. I don’t understand her behavior, especially for a businesswoman. How can she keep treating her clients like this? There is definitely something wrong with this business. Stay away. I would not trust them to take care of my babies, with insane behavior such as was exhibited today.

  • My dog was directly sprayed by a skunk. We tried everything to get the stench out. We bathed her 4 times with different products and unfortunately nothing worked. We found this product online, and what I liked about it is the fact it had a 100 percent satisfaction guaranteed. After reading the manuel very closely, we washed our dog exactly how it states in the book. Sadly, the stench was still there.
    I reached out to Odorxit and left a message for their rep to return my call. Two messages were on my voicemail on advice on washing my dog. We had washed our dog exactly the way the ladies mentioned on my vm. I then washed Shiloh a second time with no success. I finally called again and left a message with no return phone call. So my last effort, I called at about 7:00 at nite and a man (the owner) answered the phone. I asked for a supervisor and he stated "speaking". I then started to explain that I could not get this smell out. He then started explaining how the process works. At this point I said "sir, we already tried this". He immediately interrupted and said... "Are you going to listen or not?" In a conniving voice. He said that I was 100 percent not telling the truth. He became very angry, vile and unprofessional. He stated that he has 3 groomers in the Cincinnati area that use these products and have never had a problem. What am I to say, "come to my house and smell my dog? I even told him I would gladly video tape at my groomers so he can see that I'm doing this correctly. This is not rocket science. The manuel clearly states how to wash the dog with your product. He kept saying over and over that I was 100 percent not telling the truth. He then said "give me your name and address and I will send you a check for 39.99 EVEN though you are 100 percent not telling me the truth" a very angry voice. At this point he had me so upset for being so rude. I told him that I was going to put my review online and then he got even more angry yelling, "oh, now you are threatening me?". I have never had this experience my entire life. I am a flight attendant for a major carrier for 20 years and I deal with customers from all walks of life and I would never treat anyone like this guy did. Finally I told him that I was going to have my husband call him. He said "fine" and hung up. My husband then called him and sure enough the answering service picked up. I also sent an email to odorxit for a return call or email and we never heard back. I spent $130.00 on their products because I sincerely believed that this product would work. Not only on our dog, but the dog bed, sheets in our room, etc. At this point, they can keep the money we spent. It's not worth it to be hideous on the phone and extremely rude. Oh, and if the owner is reading this...I have the whole conversation recorded ... So now who's telling the truth? Such a disappointment.

  • She is an extraordinarily talented groomer.  We have some very pretty dogs and all it takes is for one pretty dog to have a bad haircut and you have an ugly dog.  She does incredibly wonderful work.

  • Suzi and her staff are fabulous. I highly recommend her. She really cares about the animals and what she does and it shows. Our pet is always made to feel welcome and loved. Our white shepherd loves to be pampered so this is the perfect place for her. She comes back smelling like a dream from the blueberry facial and painting her toes nails is of course over the top. Absolutely adorable to see all that white fur with a pop of pink on her toe nails. Suzi is also very accomodating to work you in which has been a real plus for us with a white dog living on the lake. We schedule with her every one to two weeks. Her prices are very reasonable for all the service and professionalism you get. Thanks Suzi. We will see you again soon.

  • Our Golden Retriever has a very thick but fine coat that mats easily. She is in and out of the lake regularly and likes to roll in the mulch when she gets out. Unfortunately, she does not like being groomed. We have tried a few other groomers and our sweet girl becomes a major handful (or four) for groomers.
    We hesitated taking her somewhere new, again, but 4 paws advertised working with difficult dogs and seeing that they offer dog training too I hoped they would be able to work with her. We stopped in and met Susie and we were encouraged by her description of the care that she would take. It was difficult dropping her off but I am so pleased that we gave 4 paws a try. Susie was great with her and with us. She called as soon as she was done and provided the details of how it went; I really appreciated that. I was so relieved to hear how well it went and the details she provided assured me that it really did go that well. When we picked her up she looked adorable and she was as happy and energetic as always, she had gone outside and came back inside without hesitation.
    Our golden simply doesn't like being groomed but she is a sweetheart and Susie knew exactly how to handle her. I believe this was the least stressful grooming experience our dog has had.

  • She got a blueberry facial and got groomed and clipped. They had really good customer service and made sure that my dog was comfortable. They did a really good job listening to what we wanted. My dog seemed very happy to be there. It is a little more expensive than other places but they provide a higher level of customer service and quality of service.
  • It went very well. He doesn't especially like to be groomed because of a previous bad experience and is reluctant to stay. They were patient with him and he was as handsome as ever when he was picked up. The staff was friendly and professional. I felt good about leaving him with them. He is a Therapy Dog so keeping him well groomed is a priority. We will definitely use Puppy Luv again.

  • Since my dog is timid, I wanted to have her there a limited amount of time. I specifically told them this, and they said she would be ready no later than 10 am. I called at 10 and they said she was not ready, but would be soon. I went over at 10:20 and she was stuck in a cage with her harness and leash on. Any decent groomer would know that leaving a dog in a cage with a leash and harness is unacceptable, no matter how short a time. The leash can get caught, the harness can get caught in the cage.....just unbelievable. I mentioned this and they really didnt. Seem to care, just wanted my money. I would not recommend them at all.

  • I absolutely recommend this place to everyone! All the staff, including grooming, are just wonderful. They are always so nice and my dog is just worn out by the time he gets home. I use to take my dog to petsmart for grooming, but pampered pets have them beat by a long shot in my book!
