    Nicholas Tile & Bath
Our project involved two steps; gutting and reconfiguring the master bath and a full guest bath- and transforming/utilizing a small bedroom space for increasing the size of our master bath and adding an upstairs laundry room. A detailed proposed budget was provided and discussed before any work was initiated. Emails and texts were answered quickly throughout the project. The work team was very courteous and straightened up the workspace each day. Once the gutting of the rooms and the reconfiguring/rough-in of the spaces were completed, Toms team moved in and turned the spaces into our vision. We wanted a causal spa-like feel with a neutral palate. Tile was installed in both bathrooms and the laundry room- flooring in all 3 rooms and tiling in two good-sized showers. Both showers included quartz-topped seats and thresholds which matched the vanity countertops and added a very nice custom touch. A tiled wainscoting was installed around the bathtub in the master bath and a backsplash was added above the sink in the laundry room. The tile work was impeccable!! Custom vanities and mirrors were built to fit the designated spaces- and the quartz countertops turned out beautifully. Tom & Kevin were helpful in the tile, vanity and quartz selections. Toms team also painted all the new spaces and installed crown molding in all the rooms which finished the look nicely. Even though we preferred simple lines, theres no doubt the custom work added refined and lovely touches to our spaces. We highly recommend this company- you will not be disappointed.

    HOME DEPOT'S HOME SERVICES
It was a nightmare. I thought I was being filmed for "punked" and told them it was the only rational explanation for all the mistakes. They broke the first granite countertop during installation and it took almost 5 weeks before we got a suitable one installed. As the old countertops had been removed, my autistic son was unable to use his bathroom the entire time (very distressing for him). During that time period, another top was dropped, they tried to install one with the wrong pattern, they lost my sink, their equipment broke causing them to reschedule appointments, they ran out of my pattern forcing us to start over and go pick out new slabs, left out pieces of the top on their plans and they tried to convince me I had okayed a slab that I hadn't and later admitted it didn't happen. During this entire time, Home Depot told me we were entitled to compensation for the "unacceptable" installation problems and would discuss it after the installation was complete. Once, it was completed, they said we were not entitled to anything because they had completed the job. I have received NO response from Customer Service about my complaints. Buyer Beware. I'll spend my money at Lowes.

    INSTYLE CHARLOTTE INC/INSTILE STONE CORP
Worked with Instyle store in Mooresville. Sean worked to find us just the right marble slab for our fireplace. Whole process went extremely well. Once marble slab was chosen, Instyle came to our home and made a template of our fireplace hearth and surround. We later went to their Charlotte location and placed the template exactly where, on the slab, we wanted it. Once cutout was completed Instyle installers came to install. Hearth and surround are stunning. We're so pleased, kitchen is next.

    Cutting Edge Stone Works
We specifically requested no marble options. We also stated that we needed to stick to our builders allowance. We then picked our countertops and were told they were well within the allowance. When the builder got the quote they had quoted marble and quartz. Both over our allowance and against our request of no marble. So we decided to go elsewhere for our countertops. Cutting Edge then refused to return one of our sinks they had taken for templating. Rude, unprofessional and thieves.

    Nicholas Tile & Bath
Very pleased with everything from start to finish. Tom's proposal was detailed and sent soon after the initial evaluation. Tom and workers were very professional in all aspects. Quality of work was very impressive. Very honest with any additional work required after demolition due to internal/unforseen damage. Very very satisfied--do not hesitate to use Tom for any remodel job.

    Cutting Edge Stone Works
Responsive, helpful, listened to me and the concerns or thoughts I had, then helped me make a good decision, and then made the unit to our specifications and brought it out.  It was actually mounted by our main contractor, who also installed the fixtures.  We had all this done within a week, which was pretty impressive to us.  And the sink marble matches our porcelain tile in the shower very well.  We are happy.

    Imperial Stone LLC
everything went great from start to finish. Sammy & Tony were great to work with, explained everything step by step. Price was great, finished job looks beautiful. Entire job was finished in about three hours total in the house. The old counters were removed and taken away and the new counters installed in such a clean proffesional manner that when they left it didn't even look like we had any work done, it looked as if the granite was always there as custom built with the house. I highly reccomend imperial stone to anyone considering installing new countertops.

Rarely am I the person to go on the internet and write about a company I do business with however I have to make this one exception. We are redesigning our kitchen and had to shop for new flooring. In the past 2 months I've made many trips to various tile and flooring stores to find the perfect flooring only to be disappointed by the high retail price for anything that my husband & I could agree upon. Example we found a tile by DalTile called Scene that is polished, made of porcelain but has a marble/limestone look that doesn't make our existing hardware floors stand out in a bad way.
Shopping around I found the retail price was quoted $15/sq ft from DalTile, Lowe?s could order the tile for $7.75/sq ft and every other store or tile installer said they couldn't beat Lowe?s price. I would need to buy 589 sq ft of tile for our kitchen and tv room which was a huge disappointment for us.
Couple of weeks ago I stopped by United Flooring Group on South Blvd with my DalTile tile sample in hand looking for a suitable and much less expensive alternative. To my surprise Carlo looked up the tile we really wanted, let him know the pricing I found from Lowe?s plus the retail DalTile price, called DalTIle directly and was able to sell us the exact tile we wanted for $4.50/sq ft!?!? I couldn't believe it when he told me the price and called the wife to confirm the size tile and placed the order on the spot for 589 sq ft of the tile we thought was outside our budget.
After all the savings in the tile we decided to extend our renovations and we replaced all our Carpet upstairs with a 5? Hickory Hand Scraped Hardwood Flooring. The Hardwood floors was on sale ($4.14/sf).
United Flooring just finished Installing our new floors, both the hardwood and the tile looks amazing, they did a great job. If you're in the market for carpet, tile, stone or hardwood flooring you owe it to yourself to get a competitive quote from United Flooring Group.

    Fireplace & Granite Distributors Inc

Met with Tracy in our home and she provided excellent recommendations for color selections based on our existing cabinets and woodwork.  Installation was scheduled according to our needs and all details of work were handled in scheduling.  Installers were on time, friendly, very efficient and knowledgeable and did an excellent job.  They kept all surrounding areas of our home clean and free from debris and cleaned thoroughly before leaving.  We received followup to ensure that we were satisfied and that work was completed to our satisfaction.  New kitchen countertops and tile backsplash are beautiful.

Had granite installed with another company and was a complete disaster.  Many problems with installation and the granite was an exotic granite that was not matched and cut properly.  It was cracked etc.
Was very skeptical in dealing with another installer and Tracy, at Fireplace and Granite was very reassuring that the their installation would go without problems.  She had me talk with the shop worker and viewed the shop and they answered all my questions as to how the granite would be cut and installed.  It took some time for me to find another granite I was happy with as my first choice was no longer available.  Once my decision was made the scheduling was done and went as planned.  They listened to my concerns and I am very happy with the installation.  It fits and looks great.  The seam done by original installers was an eyesore, however, Fireplace and Granite does a marvelous job with their seams and you have to look to find it. I couldn't be happier.
    Excellent experience.
