We have an existing security system and moved to them for monitoring. They installed a link to their system. Very professional. No surprises. Look forward to working with them. Contact was Michael Pittman

Before we even signed the contract, Lee came out to the house and spoke extensively with my husband about what our security needs were and the type of equipment to be used. He was very professional and answered all questions without hesitation. His team of 3 installers did a great job with as little mess and disruption as possible. They were all polite, respectful and hardworking. It was a blistering hot day and they were working in sweltering conditions in the attic and outside. We kept them in cold drinks and gave them money to have a nice lunch AND THEY EVEN BROUGHT US THE CHANGE!!!!!! They had patience to explain everything and go over itagain when necessary. Afterthe security system and video wereinstalled in one day, Lee then came back, set everything up with the monitoring and patiently went through the details of operation. We are extremely pleased with the job and feel verysafe knowing that our home is secure. Great job guys!! Thanks very much!!

    ADT Security Services
If you want to set up a system with an experienced sales person and have the installer come in and take care of what you had discussed RUN  TO ANOTHER COMPANY.
AT ADT, they send an 18 year vet to sell you a system.  He will try to add on a few things then CONVENIENTLY miss some very important things.
The whole SCAM is the installer comes in and he finds you need many more items to add on to make your system complete, "I can't use these smoke detectors" you need to pay $300 and $10 more a month to cover smoke (salesman never mentions), "what if they cut your phone line" $150 for cell back up and another $10 a month.  But they will work with you because they "feel bad" when they call the manager and work you out a good deal that still costs $100's of dollars.  Then they take out your hard wired equipment and add cheap battery powered.
You should have a piece of mind when you add on a security system to you

Easy installation and was fine for almost 2 years. Now the system is giving malfunction signals from one of the sensor. It also sent unintended notifications from another sensor. Called customer service. They were courteous and said everything is okay now that you have done a reset. After few weeks again malfunction and sensor issue happened. Called FP again and this time another courteous person tried to address the issue. Looks like all they are trained to do is speak calm and for everything do a 'test' and reset.  After the test and reset did not replicate the issue at the time of the call, she said system is fine and the window/door may be at fault - "may be it is not closed properly after locking it" was the kind of answer. Well, when nothing was changed on the house or the doors/windows and no issues with locking or uneven alignment of the sensor,, ,still you blame it on the door/window frontpoint? FP, you might trust your equipment but I no longer do. I see no advantage in going for this expensive service when other options are available for similar quality.

Update:  Front point CSR supervisor addressed the issue promptly to correct /replace the sensors having issue. Updating review based on most recent experience.

Install went really well. the tech was very nice. The tech showed me how to use the system and hooked up everything with so I can view my family and activity when I am away from home. Greatest thing I ever did!! When I had to talk with a customer service rep she was very nice as well.

    CPI Security Systems Inc
We bought a home that had an existing CPI system installed.
I called to have the service activated.
The salesman was very friendly, but glossed over the fact that he signed me up for a 5-year contract.
I had scheduled the the technician to come out on a Saturday and was told the tech would be at my house "around 2:30-3:00".
Five o'clock rolls around and tech did not show nor did I receive any call or notification.
I called them and the phone rep looked up my info.
I was basically told that since it was after 5, I wasn't talking to a Customer Service rep, but was talking to a system monitoring rep.  (But it was an automated system that sent me to him).
He told me he was going to speak to his supervisor.
The supervisor came on the line and told me that "I can help you with that"...and sent me to voicemail!!!
I called back and after being on hold, the line rang twice, I could tell someone picked up, and as I said "Hello"..I was disconnected!!!
I called back again, and this time I spoke with a very nice rep who apologized profusely.  At this point, I was upset enough to just cancel my service request.  She informed me that she couldn't refund my money and I would have to wait until Monday.
I spoke with my original rep on Monday and he offered 2 months free monitoring for the incident over the weekend and I agreed to let the tech come out.
The technician that came out was also very friendly and he was the one that actually pointed out to me that I was signing up for a 5 year contract.  I know that if the original rep clearly stated the contract length, I would've backed out...I just wouldn't sign a contract that long...especially if the consequence of breaking the contract is that I still have to pay the full amount!
I declined service and didn't sign anything the tech gave me.
I called back the next day and explained that I was not made aware of the 5-year contract and the rep I spoke to was snarky and said "well if he didn't tell you about the 5 year contract, I guess you don't know that we have a 3 year contract too; would you be interested in that?"
I was sent back to my original rep and he did not try any tactics to talk me into keeping service and did process my cancellation and the money was promptly refunded back to my card after a few days.

You get what you pay for.  The previous owner of the house had high reviews for the alarm company she had used.  As a new homeowner, we kept the existing plan and transfered had it transfered.  The day the tech came out to transfer the account, we were told "Oh, this is a cell account, not a line accout.  There haven't been any lines installed at all."  He then told us for an additional charge, we could just keep the cell hookups to alleviate the whole "robber snipping line scenario".  We agreed and went on with the transfer.  Within 10 days of having the system transfered, the alarm went into error mode and beeped constantly (starting at 5:00am).  We overode the system and it did it again.  It went off four times in less than a week.  We called Alarm South and they sent a technician to see what the issue was.  Apparently the cell signal wasn't strong in our location (even though the previous owner had used the EXACT same system for years) and we had two options: 1) purchase a signal booster (for $130.00) or purchase the new top of the line 4G radio transmitter for a mere $280.00.  "Oh yeah, and by the way, if you go with the signal booster, you will still have to purchase the new 4G transmitter by the end of the year since they are doing away completely with your 2G system."  I talked with the manager who (although sympathetic) said we could either pay it or go back to the land line system for a reduction in our monthly monitoring.  I provided then with a 3rd choice, drop the carrier.

Have done my research earlier and talked to FP systems person several months back. There was no sales pressure but rather I found it to be more informative about the units they sell. Called company after buying coupon package from Angies and added additional sensors and other equipment at an expected price. Units were self assembled and working effectively. Had some issue with sensor alignment initially but got taken care of promptly after letting them know via their customer review feedback. I would recommend their service in case you decide to go  for security monitoring.

My wife installed this system with no problem. She just called Front Point when the equipment arrived and they walked her right through the installation. System was up and running same day. Monthly monitor rate is a fair price too.

Did not go well. i had a 16 zone system…they combined zones and put in a 8 zone. Then i discovered they did not hook up the smoke detectors -- if i had not checked , I would not have known. It took  numerous calls to get them to address and I ended up spend ing $400- that was not in original estimate
