    Bakers Home Improvements
Exceptional work! Every project we had was done right the first time and at a reasonable price. They used common sense tactics (hard to find today) backed by decades of experience in home improvement to come up with creative and cost effective ideas to solve our issues. In addition, they were pro-active in identifying other issues we did not see that added value to our home, plus as an added bonus they were fun and happy as they worked! Great people. And people you can trust.

    Nicholas Tile & Bath
Our project involved two steps; gutting and reconfiguring the master bath and a full guest bath- and transforming/utilizing a small bedroom space for increasing the size of our master bath and adding an upstairs laundry room. A detailed proposed budget was provided and discussed before any work was initiated. Emails and texts were answered quickly throughout the project. The work team was very courteous and straightened up the workspace each day. Once the gutting of the rooms and the reconfiguring/rough-in of the spaces were completed, Toms team moved in and turned the spaces into our vision. We wanted a causal spa-like feel with a neutral palate. Tile was installed in both bathrooms and the laundry room- flooring in all 3 rooms and tiling in two good-sized showers. Both showers included quartz-topped seats and thresholds which matched the vanity countertops and added a very nice custom touch. A tiled wainscoting was installed around the bathtub in the master bath and a backsplash was added above the sink in the laundry room. The tile work was impeccable!! Custom vanities and mirrors were built to fit the designated spaces- and the quartz countertops turned out beautifully. Tom & Kevin were helpful in the tile, vanity and quartz selections. Toms team also painted all the new spaces and installed crown molding in all the rooms which finished the look nicely. Even though we preferred simple lines, theres no doubt the custom work added refined and lovely touches to our spaces. We highly recommend this company- you will not be disappointed.

    Mike's Electrical Services
When I first talked to Mike, he said he would call me back and set up an evening appointment to go over the scope of the work. He never called. I called him again and we did set an appointment. He came and gave me an estimate, minus the cost of 4 new flood lights. He said he could do it the end of the week and he would call with the exact day. He never called. When he did call the next week, he apologized and said he would be able to do it the next day. I agreed. His electrical work is just fine...no issue there. However, the total bill was almost twice as much as quoted. He told me his original quote was for labor only, but he never said that up front. I didn't expect four flood lights and an electrical box to cost nearly $700. I was very surprised. Nevertheless, I needed one more item taken care of and when I called on a Friday and asked him to do it at his convenience, he said he could do it the coming Monday afternoon. Since I needed to leave work, I texted to confirm and he blew me off for that day. Said he could do it later in the week, but it's been a week and a half and even though I contacted him to get an update, he has not yet gotten back to me. Bottom line is that his electrical work is just fine, but his dependability and customer service are awful. I will not use him again and we have much more work to be done. I just don't understand a total lack of common courtesy and customer service. Business must be good!!

    CHUCK DOUTHIT ELECTRICAL
Someone came out almost immediately and looked at what needed to be done. I was quoted a price and work was started the next day. The electricians were very cordial and professional and did a very good job. They made sure my ceiling was capable of holding a very heavy light fixture and their quote included any necessary extra bracing. The price we were initially quoted seemed expensive, but after seeing how much work they had to do, it now seems very reasonable. We got quotes on some other electrical work we needed but decided their quote was too high so we did not use them for that.

    Affordable Electric of Lake Norman
Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Clean, professional, courteous, and most of all, did the job the right way the first time. They installed 2 ceiling fans, 1 foyer light (25 foot ceilings), 1 light in the MBR, 1 light in the MBA, and fixed an install of another ceiling fan in a guest room. They even fixed an electrical box that was installed incorrectly in our foyer (which could have made for a bad accident). Whenever we need electric work they are going to be our first and only call.

    Precision Contracting, LLC
Just letting others know what happened to us so maybe we can spare someone. We are new to the area, and we have been getting bids from contractors to extend our deck, cover it, and screen it all in. We made a decision to use Precision Contracting represented by Chris Williams. We signed a contract with him. We were in contact with him for 2 months waiting for him to start our job. He told us he pulled a permit, and we waited to hear. He told us the county wanted more info. So we waited while he got that together. He said he resubmitted the paperwork and we waited. Then he said it was approved and he would start on Monday. That was a month ago. We have not heard back from Precision Contracting or Chris Williams since then. When I called the county I found out he never even pulled a permit. I really dont understand why all the fabricated stories and lies when he had no money. Im ticked and disappointed in what we have encountered here with a few contractors but Precision Contracting takes the cake. If he didnt want the job, he should have just said so instead of leading us on and wasting our time for months. That was our experience with Precision Contracting and Chris Williams. I hope all of you have better experiences with contractors.

    Mike's Electrical Services
Mike and his assistant were early. They reviewed the job with me and then got to work removing the light. The work was professional with no change to the price quoted. Mike is now my go-to electrician!

    Affordable Electric of Lake Norman
Rich happened to be working in the area where our home is located. We told him what time we could be there and asked if there was any way he could meet us. He contacted me right away. Said he could be there at the time we needed him. He showed up on time with his son. They replaced the fan and fixed the light quickly. They were both professional and friendly. Would hire them again. They were very accommodating. And the cost was extremely reasonable!

    LKN Electric
Terrible is just one word to describe. The worst experience with any contractors. The final inspection did not go through and now we have to hire other electrician to finish and pass the final inspection. The guy Rob hang up on me that he told it wasn't his responsibility. After spending about $3000 for the electricity work on the dock, I'm expecting little more respect than just get hang up on by this electrician. Very rude and only thing they care about getting more money from me. Whole process wasn't pleasant that I felt like they just want to get rid of me after I paid in full. 0 star for this company..

Chisel Construction & Home Improvement LLC
Highest recommendation. Chad & his team did a wonderful job on our windows replacement & Master bathroom renovation, guiding us expertly through the process of assembling the materials and making everything easy from start to finish. They were patient with supply delays, flexible with scheduling, and performed excellent work throughout.
