    A good experience took a turn for the WORSE. In short, my visit was to replace a crown. The $800-900 crown replacement quote from calling their online number is what brought me in. After the X-rays and exam I was given a quote of $3687 with an option to finance. Shocked at the 3x increase from the over the phone quote I asked Miranda for the cost breakdown. She obliged and gave me a print out of the itemized charges. Included was Cancer screening I didn't ask for $30, an Oral B Brush $135, cleaning of each tooth $17 - $287! I explained, "look I simply want the crown replaced". Its one job, Even the Doctor stressed that replacing the crown was top priority. However, I felt I was being strong-armed to pay for additional service because they wanted to clean and prevent which is great, but wasn't the priority or in my budget. On their website I it does state "Choice is a beautiful thing" right before stating "We'll treat you right" . Hmm... Thats not what I was getting. Once again I stated "Why can I not simply get what I asked for (crown replacement) its what Im willing to finance". Finally she gave me a price and said its $1592. Reluctantly I agreed and Miranda processed the financing after asking my home address and how long Ive resided there. She then stated im approved for $6800 of work. "Thats great, but that doesn't' mean its free money, I have to that payback" I responded. Not gonna bother mentioning the interest rate but yeah that too. The date was set for the following day (Nov 6th 2pm). Before the departure, She ran my credit which was strange because i expected that before the approval. On the drive home still puzzled at the tactic feeling finance presentation, Mirada calls and says Doc said you must do the cleaning for periodontal disease too, in order for us to treat you. Cost would be back to the full cost. Feeling frustrated I said no thanks. She was still polite as always and stated that the finance charges would be reversed. Tues Nov 6th (after my 2pm cancellation) she calls back at 5:38 pm and now stating they will do just the crown repair as I had requested now. I told her I would call back, which I did. With trust ruined and feeling like I've dealt with a shifty car dealership, how could I accept service. We went from $842 on the phone to $3652 in office, down to $2976 because of I mentioned 20% coupon, down to $1592 for requesting just the crown, back to $2976 because the doctor wanted to do additional services, back to $1592 after I would only finance for the crown which was first priority which he himself stated. LOL, Really!?! how much trust can you expect a client or patient to have at this point? Is this what you mean when your site says "we'll treat you right", Aspen Dental? No thank you Aspen Dental. From my experience, It feels like the number one goal was to force as much money out of me regardless of my prioritized needs. And when it didn't work they settled for what they could get. After all they are in it for money..... Now Im waiting to see if the practice at least "treat me right" in reversing the financing as Miranda stated they would after I declined their push to do more. Right now Im getting text saying I have an unused balance for services. Ill keep you all posted... Aspen Dental 8815 Christenbury Pkwy STE 40, Concord, NC 28027

    Better than could have hoped for! Been to 3 dentists lately and these folks were SUPER! They tried to educate me, told me about several good options and then ASKED me what I wanted to do. Can yo believe that? Asked me what I wanted to do!!! I was treated so well I can't wait to go back! 50 years of searching and now I'm home!

    They did some investigation. He told me he didn't need to have the crown replaced. There was nothing wrong with it in other words. He was very pleased with them. He did schedule for an appointment for cleaning which he had to care for. He is planning to go back.  He was very happy with them. How reasonable they are on price, I don't really know. They didn't really do the crown or anything so I don't have a price to compare to anybody else's. He thought they were very professional. The staff was great. Not only the dentist but the people who work there, they are very friendly, very professional. He was real pleased. Very good interaction. Work turned out fine.Very good in availability. He didn't have to wait long for an appointment.
