  • Reception was very friendly, and I did not have to wait long to get called back by the hygienist. I needed one filling and it took two hours because the office is seriously understaffed and overbooked. At one point I was left alone for close to 45 minutes. There was one dentist for at least three patients that morning. Instruments were dropped and the entire procedure felt very rushed. It was by far the most discomfort I've experienced during any dental procedure. The doctor needs to work on her communication skills, both with her staff and with patients. I had no sensitivity before the appointment but had terrible pain and extreme sensitivity long after getting the filling and I could no longer chew on that side. I was supposed to go back for 5 other fillings and a crown replacement, the soonest available date was mid-October - over 2 months down the road. I have since seen another dentist at a different practice. The tooth that Dr. Haberl worked on required a root canal because the filling was too close to the root. My new dentist said it would have developed an abscess. Also, I've since been told that I only need two more fillings, not five. And my crown doesn't need to be replaced! I will continue to tell others to steer clear of Dr. Haberl.

  • WOW!  Super friendly from the first interaction.  I never thought that I would ever review a Dentist Office, but this experience has been so good that I can't help but shout it out to everyone!  First, a bit of a background.  We left a mediocre Dental Office after a bad experience that caused extra procedures for my daughter to correct, and an interaction that causes us to question their ethics in our mind.  The experience was so bad, I wasn't going to go through this again, so I decided to check Angie's List.  I choose Lembo & Montgomery based solely on their Angie's list rating and reviews.  Boy was Angie's list right!!!
    On the initial call, not only did they answer all of my questions about insurance, but they advised me on other questions that I had regarding the transition from that awful Dental office.  They set up appointments around when my new insurance would be in effect, and even verified with the insurance company what the insurance would cover beforehand!  How nice is that!  No surprises in store for me after the work is done...what a novel concept!
    Then, I received welcome letters in the mail with all of the paperwork that I could complete at home at my leisure.  No need to arrive at the first appointment early and rush to fill out forms only to realize that I didn't have information with me.
    The location is convenient to us and right across the parking lot from our Dr's office.  We walked in to a waiting room that was more of a posh furniture store than your typical dentist or doctor's waiting room.  The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming.  They took our forms and we were seated.  My children were called back on time while I made use of their Keurig machine.  Once the appointments were complete, the staff discussed with me everything that they found and made sure that my children and I understood everything including their recommendations.  The front desk staff patiently worked with me to set up follow up appointments a referral, and their 6 month appointments.  I was so pleased with the experience that I told her to go ahead and set up appointments for my wife and I.  We both had such "blah" experiences with the dentist long ago that we decided it would take major pain to get us into a Dentist's chair again.  Not anymore.
    Once we were in the car, my kids couldn't stop talking about how nice the staff were.  They may be teenagers, but they really appreciated the fact that the staff talked to them during the visit instead of talking to each other.  My daughter who cries at every dentist appointment was actually excited about this experience and fell in love with the staff.  She also couldn't stop talking about how she could watch Top Gear on Netflix during the procedures.  Something that may seem so small, but a big deal to my daughter to take her mind off of her fears.
    Believe it or not, I am so thankful that we had the bad experience at our previous dentist.  Had we not, we would still be putting up with mediocrity instead of experiencing true customer service and a passion for excellence with the staff at Lembo and Montgomery!

  • My experiences with this dentist started out okay.  We would come in the morning and were usually seen right away.  Eventually we moved to afternoon appointments to avoid my children missing school.  This meant that the office waiting room was standing room only and took longer to go back and longer to wait when in the chair.  This was an inconvenience, but something that we put up with.
    They recommended sealants for both of my children, so we went ahead and had them done based on that recommendation.  One of the sealants failed and allowed a cavity to form under the sealant, which eventually needed a root canal.  The dentist who saw my daughter and identified the need for a root canal had his own practice and only worked for Friendly Dental on Thursdays, I guess to supplement his income.  He criticized the sealant job wholeheartedly, saying that it had failed due to poor installation and that it had caused the need of the root canal.  He continued complaining about the sealant install until my wife and the hygienist told him that the sealant was put on at Friendly dental.  After that he clammed up, realizing his error of making his employer look bad.
    We were extremely frustrated by this and tried to work with their office staff to get a discount on the root canal since it was caused by the poor sealant install job per their own dentist.  They immediately denied that the dentist ever said anything about the sealant problem, basically calling my wife and daughter liars.  On top of that, while the Dentist and Hygienist were performing the root canal, they sat there and gossiped about another member of the staff, right there in front of my daughter and I!
    Needless to say we left Friendly Dental.  I refuse to do business with an organization that lies to cover up their mistakes.
    The silver lining out of this problem is that because of this frustrating experience, we decided to use Angie's List to find a reputable dentist.  And boy did we ever!!!  My children actually love going to the dentist, and we aren't treated like cattle.  Had it not been for this issue, we would have never found our new dentist!

  • Dr. Montgomery and her entire staff are AMAZING!!!  I am beyond thankful for having found her on Angie's list!!  They provide excellent dental care and the results are beyond my expectations!!!  They have made me very comfortable

    with all procedures as well as emotionally.  My teeth had been neglected and were so embarrassing.  Personal & financial problems resulted in the neglect of seeing a dentist.  Dr. Montgomery has restored my mouth as well as my confidence and I am beyond grateful to her & her staff!

  • He treats you for what you get in for.  If you have pain, he treats that.  One time I had a crown that fell out and he got me in on a Saturday so that impressed me.  Everybody there is friendly.  He is very nice to deal with.

  • I need to say this upfront: I do no like going to the dentist. At all. I was a little worried at first when checking in. They make you fill your info out info on these wipe-off laminated sheets which, I guess, cuts down on paper. One page had some one's else's credit card info on it so I skipped filling that out.
    Once I got back in the office, though everything changed. Everyone there was SO NICE. They tell you everything that they are doing. My hygienist (Marilyn I think?) was fantastic! Dr. Reimel was just as awesome, too! He's easy to talk to and pretty funny as well. He even said that I didn't need some work that my former dentists said had to be fixed immediately. I left feeling great about the visit and my teeth!
    A couple of days later, I got a HAND-WRITTEN thank you note from Dr. Reimel. Who does that anymore? I was completely sold at that point.

  • I've used her for 10 years. She is very, very nice. She is gentle and thorough. She is very professional but a very nice person to work with. She is very honest about what needs or doesn't need to be done. She's done work for our whole family and everybody goes to her. We obviously highly recommend her. She is available and she is pretty good about that. They don't leave us waiting. Her bedside manner is wonderful. The billing is perfect and there has never been a problem with it.

  • It went well.  The reason I went to him a few years ago was my dentist moved.  My oral surgeon refered me to him.  He said he was technically the best on the North side of Charlotte,  I have found that if you have a filling he gets it right the first time.  Rarely are there any adjustments before the permanent setting.  His personallity is all professionlism.  He is also been rated by other Dental Professionals as best in Charlotte.
