Insulation reviews in Mocksville

Mr. Redmond was very responsive to my initial request for an estimate. He and another gentleman-I believe his name was Curt- arrived at my home and performed a thorough inspection of the areas I was concerned about. We had just purchased the home and it was obviously in need of some extra insulation product. He emailed me the estimate in a timely manner and we arranged to have his company complete some of the work he and Curt recommended. The crew arrived as scheduled and Mr. Redmond showed them around the job site then left. The gentlemen that did the work were very courteous and seemed to be efficient in their duties. Each time I checked in with them they took the time to update me on what they were doing and planned to do. They were all very nice and seemed to know what they were doing.
Although I obtained other(less expensive) estimates for the job I chose this company because they appeared to be a little more professional than others and seemed to have a strong knowledge base of what was necessary and why. I could tell almost immediately that the work performed made a huge improvement in our situation. I could no longer feel cold air coming down the attic stairs and the unfinished rooms in the basement weren't nearly as cold as they were prior to Home Energy Solutions.
Having said that, I do have some faults that I think other Angie's List members may find helpful if they are considering this company. The reasons I rated them a B for the quality of work is because of several factors. They left quite a few pieces of insulation board and nails along with the white dust that it produces when they saw the board. I have pictures posted for reference. It may be because the work took place in unfinished areas of the house but every other contractor we've had in has cleaned up afterward regardless. Also, when installing the insulated boards it was necessary to remove my light switch covers and electric outlet covers. One of these was broken beyond repair and the other was cracked (see photos). The gentleman did tell about the one cover and I wasn't too concerned until I saw another one with a crack in it.  Also, in the attic when the house was built in 2002 the builder placed a report of the insulation levels and type used and I liked having this paper in the attic just so I knew what was installed when built. For some reason one of the crew removed this paper and evidently trashed it. I asked about it while we were in the attic and they weren't able to locate it.
When the crew were finished they performed another blower door test. I asked the gentleman who appeared to be the job foreman or senior crew member for a detailed statement of the work performed along with the blower door readings both before and after. He told me that usually he had a "packet" to leave with me but he didn't have one for this job because "the printer was out of ink". He said he would phone Mr. Redmond on the way home to remind him so send one to me. That was on February 16. I followed up with emails that went unanswered and finally received a response on 3/6 when I contacted the company through the Angie's List message center. Mr. Redmond apologized and said he'd been out of town for a death in the family but that he would get me my statements by the weekend. It's now been over a month and although I replied to his reply twice in an attempt to jar his memory, I"ve still not received anything. I think service after the sale is as important as during and for that reason I've given this company a lower rating. Overall the work done has been beneficial but the follow-up needs some improvement.

He took the siding off my house and left it exposed for over a month. Rain and wind ruined my insulation. When I called to ask why he hadn't returned he said ,"s*** happens" and hung up on me.
