Electrician reviews in Mint Hill

  • Called early on a Tue morning. Person answering the call said I'd get a call from a technician. No call that day or by 10:30 the next. Called back the next day, this time was told they could not get anyone out to my house until the following week. Price seemed outrageous, but maybe it's typical. Service call was $99, time after that was $89 per half hour. Now looking for someone else.

  • I called Watts Electric & Services and Earl answered on the third ring. Said he doing some personal business and would call me in an hour. He called in an hour and was at my house a half hour later. I told him that the outlets in all three bathrooms were dead. The electric panel had a breaker named "Bathrooms GFCI" and that I thought it needed replacing. In checking the third bathroom he found a GFCI outlet that had been popped. He explained that this outlet controlled all three bathroom outlets. Once he reset that outlet all bathrooms were working. Earl was fast, thorough, professional, and explained the wiring to me. He was friendly and I recommend him for any electric need you may have.

  • We have a walk-in shower that needed new tile. Joe and his team walked us through our options clearly. The pricing was competitive and fair. Joe’s a professional. He delivered on our expectations. Him and his team were prompt, clean, and professional. Marlon did the tile. His work is beautiful. We feel confident that the work was done correctly. We would recommend Joe for your project.

  • From the initial contact it was a great experience. I found A Helping Hand Construction on Facebook and sent a message. JC responded immediately and came right over to check out my project. He was very transparent in what to expect. I decided to go ahead and have him do the work and I’m glad I did. He kept me posted on when he was going to be there and did an amazing job on the repairs. I will definitely call them again for my next project.

  • Outstanding- John worked had to install the video doorbell, couldn’t get to work? Had the Ring Tech folks on the line w/him for 30 minutes! He checked lines, voltage etc. way beyond the call of duty! Ring determined the kit may be defective! He still installed everything to enable me to merely switch out the kit once it came! Very professional, efficient and kind! The system came on line by itself 4 hrs Later!😃

  • Chris and his team did an excellent job getting our project completed. This was a complete Kitchen upgrade from a 1983 version to a modern day masterpiece. Chris priced the job, made suggestions and coached us through completion. Along with complete new cabinets, Master Building added a pantry, installed tile flooring, granite counter tops, sink and faucet, new light fixtures, under cabinet lighting and also remodeled our washer and dryer area. This as you can expect was not an easy process but Chris helped us and also worked with our schedule as both my wife and I work. Estimate started and was finalized in May and work started in mid July. Working around vacation season and normal delays was a challenge but Chris was always willing to work with our schedule. By mid to late August we were completed and had the kitchen of our dreams. During the process we did do some change orders that effected the price but Chris worked through these also. He also left some cabinets for us to reuse and hauled all old material off. This was a major project but for all the effort put into the job and coordinating all the people involved we could have never done it alone. Chris and his crew also answered all of our questions as we proceeded with the remodel. I have no regrets for doing this project and it has surpassed our expectations. We would definitely be calling Chris again for our next remodel.

  • We faced a major challenge with the City of Charlotte water department not connecting us with the irrigation system which delayed us a day, but as stated in the contract they said it would be a week and all the work was completed in that time frame. Every member of the work crew were so friendly and some of the hardest workers that I have encountered. . Renee and Bill kept us informed of what was going on since there was a delay (no fault of Outdoor Life) in the job. Bill was very helpful with the selection of plants and the begonias planted in front of the subdivision signs are beyond gorgeous.

  • I wasn't real happy about the guy that did the work here.  He was okay, but he left a bit of a mess, and it's little things, like some of the parts that he used left on the floor, scattered about.  And all of the stuff that he replaced he threw in my recycling bin, which meant that I couldn't empty the bin in the house.  That kind of annoyed me because I know normally, contractors will take their stuff to the dump.  That annoyed me.  I won't use him for that.  And one of the other things was, originally he was coming to relocate electrical for my washing machine and we didn't do that.  We ended up deciding against doing it, but I got charged for it anyway.  So that annoyed me.  It's just that the $150 bothers me; that's dishonest.  I wish I could say all good, but it just annoyed me; it just did.  I did have two that were a little bit cheaper; I went with him because I just had a good feeling about what he knows.  When we set the price, when I was about ready to make the check I kind of detected a hesitance, which later on I realized he was going to probably say, oh well we didn't do such and such, but he didn't do it.  My feeling is it was on his mind, so yes, we have to be concerned about honesty.  I know a lot of people would do that, but I know I've dealt with people that were absolutely up front and honest, and so I'm making my assessment on top quality, and so I take it from there.

  • Robb and Chrissy made very manageable a project my husband I initially felt overwhelming. They respected our budget, their communication skills from start to finish were excellent, they performed the work within the time frame they had estimated, and the end product is just short of a miracle transformation of an old, totally outdated bathroom into a bathroom we love to enter and use. Highly recommend this company.

  • The company rep came in to evaluate the job and sent me a written quote the same day. On the day the work was to be performed, the techs arrived on time, kept me apprised during the entire time and finished within the time estimated. They cleaned up and took the packaging with them. I was very pleased and have already committed to additional projects.
