    They were great. They were having a bad weekend. I dropped the car off on Friday and their computer, it wasn’t so much the computer, but the internet. I didn’t pick up the car till Monday and I was hoping to pick it up on Friday or Saturday. It wasn’t ready Saturday, but they put it back together so I could go to church on Sunday. They were good, but their internet being down for a day and a half messed things up. I don’t know if that was their fault or not. It’s a family outfit. They are very fair, very honest. That was the impression I had. They explained what they did and everything.

    We are satisfied with them because they seem to be very honest and that is important to us. They do everything but they don't have the stuff to do the inspections on the newer cars. 

    The oil change takes a half hour to an hour. The waiting area is very small. I would sit outside if I could. There's a coupe of seats but not many at all.

    They put in the screw, they over times and when I was in Florida, the spool broke in half and I ended having to leave my car down in Florida and rent one to come back. They changed management in the last two years and their service got mush worse and much more expensive. They have done work for us before and we didn't have really good experience with them. It was real convenient for us and they changed management, we were going to give them another chance and they screwed up big time. They said that the car was going to be ready by Wednesday afternoon, my husband was going to leave Thursday morning and they ended up leaving a couple of hours late because they weren't done with the work. Maybe we'll end up using them again because they are so convenient.

    I took in my car because there was a strange noise I thought needed to be fixed right away. Andrew asked me to start to car so he could investigate the noise, and even had one of his workers out to check. They determined the noise was nothing to worry about and even took the time (about 30 minutes in all) to explain exactly what was causing the noise. He put my mind at ease by explaining the source of the noise and the cause, something most mechanics won't do.

    They were very good of adjusting warranty information before they do repair. They are very conscientious about calling to discuss repaired needed and approximate cost before they proceed. My air condition was not working and they were having a hard time getting to do what they said they were doing. But they finally see and figure out what it was. They went look and found out it was actually covered under such full of bounty. They called back and said this is what it is and offered to do at the end of the warranty, so they charged.

    This place is a little pricey for an oil change, but it's hard to beat finding a good, honest mechanic. This company is small and locally-owned. I've been using them ever since I went to them about a problem and they deducted the cost of looking at it from the total bill. When I went to them this last time, they tried every resource they could to find the problem. The staff  are courteous and professional and the garage is always clean and orderly.

    Adams Towing, out of Burlington NC, answered a towing service call on I-85 for a lit oil gauge light. The tow truck operator showed up and when he revved the motor, the light went out. He was positive that the problem was a bad gauge since he said had a truck just like this and it was always just a bad gauge. He convinced my son that it was okay to drive the 22 miles back to Durham, when he got back to Durham, he found out from his mechanic that the the trip had burned out the main bearing. The gauge was, in fact, not broken at all and that nobody should be told by a tow truck driver, let alone one hired by AAA, to make that ride.
    Adams refused to consider taking any responsibility, which from most of their reviews on the internet does not surprise me. If they had just done their job competently and towed the truck, I would not have even been having that conversation with them.
    I don't understand why AAA uses them. They have a F rating from the BBB. In other words, they really don't care.

    Frazier's was quick and explained the service they performed. The price was fair and the staff courteous. However, the owners of this location feel the need to display their political views during election time and throughout the remainder of the year. I consider such actions unprofessional. They have every right to, and I have every right to patronize them - or not - based on their views.

    I dropped the truck off the night before the appointment and picked it up late the next morning. They found that a wire had become loose and fixed it at NO charge. I couldn't be happier. I really appreciate their honesty. Will go back again for sure.

    We dropped the car off the night before. The next day I got a call that the car was fixed. We picked it up after hours. Everything went smooth. No problems. Fair price. Car fixed. I'd go back again!
