    Pampered Paws Pet Sitting Service
Barbara and Jeanelle were wonderful. Everything was clearly explained to us before our vacation and both took a lot of notes to ensure doing things the way we wanted. While we were away they attended at every time they were scheduled and made sure our pups were happy and well cared for. At all times they were prompt, friendly and professional. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing my dogs were in great hands. Jeanelle, who stayed at our home, left it in perfect order and I'm sure our pups can't wait to see her again. Pampered Paws is highly recommended and very good value for money compared to kenneling your dogs.

    NANA'S PET SITTING LLC
I have called upon Nanas Pet Sitting for years and am always so impressed with the care they provide to my fur babies as well as being watchful over my home as I am away. I was out of town from October 4 -8th 2018 and Nanas Pet Sitting was caring for my fur babies. Due to Linda Edwards quick thinking, staying calm and direction she and her associate Heidi saved the life of my baby English Bulldog .. Louie. My black Labrador Retriever attacked my English Bulldog on the morning of October 7th. Heidi was with my dogs outside when the attack occurred. She immediately contacted Linda who got me on the phone .. asked me to contact neighbors for help and they were able to break up the fight. If Heidi and Linda had not cared and acted so fast .. my Bulldog would have been killed. Linda Edwards and Heidi immediately drove him to ER Urgent Care. Louie was really hurt .. has been in ICU since the 7th and finally came home on the 21st of October. The concern and care from Linda and Heidi has been non-stop. Linda called me and texted me at least twice daily. Heidi sent a get well card to Louie. I will be forever grateful for they truly saved my Louie. Blessings to Linda Edwards and Nanas Pet Sitting. I would never consider the care from another Pet Sitting company. I knew what she provided was great but now I consider them superior. She loves your pets like they are her own. So very caring and responsible. Thank you Linda Edwards and Nanas Pet Sitting!!

    Cats Cradle
If we were writing this review based on our first experience here, we would definitely give it a better review. The fact that our first experience was pleasant is the only reason this place gets a D instead of an F. Though we cannot argue that the facility is nicely constructed, I would not recommend this place to anyone who is seeking great customer service. We received a nasty email from the owner, Laura, after we had to change our plans due to Hurricane Florence. Instead of being understanding that the change in plans was beyond our control, she became vengeful that she lost money for two days. She wrote an email to us (very rudely with a lot of words in all capital letters) telling us that if we were to keep our reservation, we would have to pay for two extra days at a goodwill reduced price even though our cats werent at the boarding facility for those days. Since there was not enough time to find another place to board our cats, we were forced to continue the reservation with Cats Cradle. Upon arrival, we were informed that our cats vet records were lost. Instead of taking responsibility for their part in the mixup, it was blamed on a worker who was no longer there. This was ironic to us as we received amazing customer service from this former coworker, Katie. When we came to pick up our cats after our vacation, the same woman, Holly, who thought that professionalism entailed bad-talking former employees, refused to give us the senior discount. Let me be clear-the owner and the person paying for the cats is a senior citizen. But this company seems so pre-occupied with making money that they actually attempted to start an argument with us in the lobby so we would have to pay full price. We left there paying for two days we didnt actually get, with conflicting stories on all of their policies, with no discount to which we were entitled, and a very bad taste in our mouths. Dont be fooled by the nice exterior of this place. A successful and professional business runs on more than just the cosmetic aspects. Just as Holly shrugged off the comment when we said that we would not be using her facility again, it is very clear that they do not care about providing the best service possible. Please look elsewhere when considering where to board your fur babies.

    Pet Paradise Matthews
This was our first stay at Pet Paradise Resort Matthews. We checked out several places and felt most comfortable here that our two Italian Greyhounds would have the right care in a loving and safe environment. We liked the complimentary day visit prior to their stay to acclimate the dogs. We loved being able to see them on the webcams playing and cuddling with their human chaperones. Their Facebook site mentioned that several employees stayed at the facility through the time Hurricane Florence was hitting the greater Charlotte area. Great service and dedication!

    SAFE & SOUND PET SITTING
I have called more than 10 times over 3 days, sent mail through Angie's list, but could not even leave a voicemail. No replies and I THINK she blocked my number. This lady has great reviews and we would love to add to them, but after not receiving even the courtesy of being told she does not want our business I feel the need to leave this review instead.

    Pet Paradise Matthews
It went great! My dog loves going and always gets very excited when we pull in. The staff is very punctual and courteous and I know he is treated well you can also watch on the live webcams. Whenever I take him there I have no worries and he always comes home exhausted from playing so hard!

    Pet Paradise Matthews
We have been using Pet Paradise for years, first at the Airport location, then at Matthews. We are impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, their professionalism and their genuine love of their dog/cat clients. Dogs are kept in large pens instead of cages, which is a definite plus for us. They can also go in and out at will through a doggie door. A person is on-site at night. A vet is always on call. We had very good communication with them when one of our dogs required treatment. They really do take very good care of their 4-legged clients. Our dogs come home looking and acting just the way we left them.

    NANA'S PET SITTING LLC
Excellent. Highly recommend Nana's Pet Sitting to anyone who has a pet. We would not trust anyone else with our three dogs when we have to travel. They are not only professional, but they also are truly loving to our dogs. When we come home, the dogs are happier than ever. The sitter leaves us a summary of each visit and then checks in on us to make sure that we not only arrived home safely, but also to make sure that the dogs are okay! In addition, Nana's sitters bring in our mail, water our plants in needed, and even takes out the trash can! They give us a peace of mind!

    Lil' Buddies Pet Sitters
When we first met Holly, she got right down on the floor to meet Beamer, which I know he appreciated. Our little Stardust doesn't come out from under the bed for anyone, but she came out for Holly when she cared for them. Beamer is friendlier, but he has some special supplement needs, so I am happy to have found a former vet tech. Holly texted us with a brief update after each visit, and we really appreciated that. We've ever left them alone overnight, but we now have full confidence that they'll be just fine in Holly's care.

    Carolina Veterinary Specialists
When one of my dogs died at CVS, the staff was wonderful. Receptionists & techs could not have been more compassionate & personal. I wish I could say the same for Dr. Sean Gallivan, who did surgery 3 yrs ago on my dog's ACL tear, when I took her in last Monday because the knee seems to be failing again. She's never appeared comfortable, always scraping the foot on the ground, but in subsequent visits Dr. Gallivan said it simply hadn't healed completely. Now, her symptoms are very much like they were just before she originally ruptured it, though he assured me at the time that this method of mending it was the best and would last a lifetime. On this visit I mentioned that I wanted to be present when the Dr. examined my dog, as every vet in my life has done until I moved to Charlotte. The tech promised to let him know. A few minutes later Dr. Gallivan appeared, leaned stiffly against the door frame with arms crossed, leaving the door open, presumably to emphasize that he was not entering into any idea of mine. He stayed just so during our entire encounter. As anyone with animals knows, body language is telling. He offered no hello, no good morning. "You will NOT be present when I examine your dog," he barked. Frankly, his strong hostility startled me. I explained that I don't like handing an animal over to be taken into another room where I can't ask or answer questions, or point out my concerns. Dr. Gallivan stated he planned to weigh her and watch her walk down the hall. "I'd like to be there to show you what I see, " I told him. As he had during the whole "conversation," he bit off the word, "No!" I asked why. Loudly, "Because that's the way I like to work!" At this point I left -- I would not leave an animal with someone so angered by a simple unremarkable request or who has such scorn for pesky animal owners. If he had sat down and talked to me like a grownup, we might have come to some agreement. He hadn't the maturity. I was there because his original surgery failed my dog, and I find his rudeness unacceptable. I asked him to weigh and observe my dog in my presence -- not to let me hang around for an operation. I'm sure I got my first pet before his parents were born. There is no excuse for a youngster like him talking to someone old enough to be his grandmother as if she were a defiant child in deep trouble. There are veterinary surgeons here with more skill, courtesy, and better presence than this.
