Dishonest service department. While waiting, the service rep informed me my tires were dry rotted and very dangerous to drive. Of course, they wanted to sell me new tires. Also told, they could have been sitting in a warehouse for a long time prior to being installed. I checked with Griffin tires where they were purchased. Griffin wanted to see the tires. They were less than 3 years old with 22000 miles on them, a still had sufficient tread on them and were manufactured 4 months prior to being installed. I believe they shammed me another time, but this time it was easily checked.

They put in permanent, super deluxe oil that lasts like 10,000 miles.  If we got a cheaper oil, we'd be out there, so we put in the better oil.  They're the very best.  One time it took an extra long time because they were so busy.  They apologized and said there's no charge for the job.  They've never tried to manufacture any additional work or anything.  Very very good at scheduling.  Sometimes it takes not more than a day or so before they'll get me in, no problem.  The one time they gave me the job for nothing.  I think their mechanics are excellent.  I would use nobody but them.  They gave me a complete explanation of the automobile.  They also routinely do a service check on it for any possible problems.  It's that computer check that they can do.  They always do that.  They found that there's no problems so I'm assured.  This computer check is absolute.  It will tell you anything that's wrong with any part of the car.

We rarely drive it, it has less than 20,000 miles. We leased the vehicle then bought it after the lease period. They are pretty good. We had a bit of a disagreement so I couldn't give them an A on one item. They are pretty good. They try to up sale me that's why I couldn't give them an A. They knew why I was there, you buy an automobile like that you don't expect to have that type of treatment. That was just one person, I've never had a bad experience with the rest of them. We didn't exactly see eye to eye either. I knew that the reciprocal value of the car would be such that there was no way I could lose on it. As an example, the buyout was $27,000 and I knew the retail was $35,000. I thought that they would, well they wanted the car, so I was willing to get a new Lexus but they wanted to give me $27,500 for the vehicle. I knew it was worth $35,000 retail and so I ended up keeping it. I would have loved to have had a brand new one. But my wife was satisfied with this vehicle, the new ones she actually liked the looks of this one better than the new ones. I understand they have to make money too.

I was getting ready to take a trip.  About a 100 miles away and I noticed my oil was a quart low.  I had already told someone I would be there, so I was in a bit of a panic.  So I just pulled into Firestone, told them my situation and asked if they could take me in.  They said yeah and they took me right in. I used synthetic high mileage oil, that would have been an inconvenience for me to go somewhere and get a quart of oil.  So they went ahead and did it.  The price was right.  It's more expensive to get an oil change with synthetic oil.  Everything worked out fine.

It was covered under warranty. I would say they are trustworthy. They finish the repairs in a timely fashion. The workers are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I'm not sure there is anything they could improve on. What they did well was finished the service in a timely fashion.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care
They performed an inspection and confirmed the front rotors needed adjustment. Then inspected other area's recommending front and rear brakes and two new tires. They said the rear brakes were the worst so I agreed to replace the rear brakes. I then got a call back stating that they could not replace the rear calipers and now my costs would be around $600.00. I asked them to put everything back together as I could not afford this. I received a call back stating they were able to get the old calipers back in. When I picked up the car there was a very loud noise coming from the right rear end of the car. I was asked to bring the car back and the noise was taken care of. Now there is a vibration coming from the same location. I do not trust them enough to bring it back in again. I am waiting till I can afford to see a mechanic.

Aways a pro. They are honest and always call if they find anything that is important or will change the price quoted. Walker has talked me out of or into waiting on things I wanted done that weren't needed or could safely wait. They always let me know what is needed or will be needed in the near future. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

The vehicle is a SAAB vehicle. Which I had purchased from them 8 years ago. They would have done repairs on it and of course they don't make SAAB anymore. They kept saying they couldn't find the problem. And they said "Oh we think there is something wrong with your stereo speaker, or stereo something a boot amp or amp that's in the truck area and it is malfunctioning and draining your battery and it needs to be replaced." And that was $1300. That didn't make sense to me so I said I need to get a second opinion on this. I said are you sure it's not just the battery, and they said no it's not the battery.  I went to pick up the car and they said they were still looking at it. They knew I was leaving without buying anything, they said hold on I am looking at something, oh you know what you do need a battery. And it was $200 and that is a lot for a battery. I said find just put the battery in it. They said the amp is going to keep draining your battery and I said that's ok I just need to take it somewhere. I took it somewhere else and the amp was out of the car. I had the amp and asked them to check the amp, because they pulled the amp that they said was the problem. I asked them to check the amp to see if it was an issue. They had to send it away for diagnostics, came back three days later and said nothing was wrong with the amp. They put it back in and the car was fine. All it really needed was a new battery. But they were trying to get me to spend $1300 on an amp that I didn't need. I won't take the car back anymore. My interactions with them are fine. You own cars, you know what it's like. If you're not a mechanic you have to trust what they say. But sometimes you say nah that doesn't make sense to me. We all just want our cars to work. I was at the point where I don't really need a radio. I am not going to spend $1300 on an 8 year old car even though the body is in perfect condition and it only has 40,000 miles on it. I would not take my car back there. I called them back after I got the amp back and it was fine and he said well it can't be fine, it's not fine. They don't work on these cars. And I said no but they're car stereo professionals, they know car stereos. He was saying no, it's not that it's wrong. Well you're not the expert in this issue, they are. I did call them back to let them know. I think more so to let them know that I know that they were trying to rip me off. I didn't say that but I hope that is the message that they got.

The work took about an hour to complete. The workers were fine. Cordial. It was a basic oil change, nothing really much to say about it. I didn't have any problems. I thought their prices was a little high. That is basically it.
