    Navi Appliance Repair LLC
Ivan was able to schedule visit on the same day. Messaged me to let me know he was running over on his previous repair, texted me when he was on his way and still arrived within the hour time frame he quoted when we scheduled. He was able to fix our refrigerator for basically the cost of the service call. Honest, dependable and great communication.

Ivan came out to give us an idea of whether or not our wine fridge could be fixed. We had a few other quotes - none were encouaging - but none offered to come take a look. He was comfortable that the fridge could indeed be fixed but he didn't have what he needed with him. He made an appointment for the next morning (and was early - who ever heard of a serviceperson being early!) and fixed it as promised. It's humming along nicely and I've got a 90 day warranty if something goes amiss.

Technician immediately diagnosed as needing a new motor. He was able to give me a price for our make and model dryer and as it was 16 years old, he suggested we may just want to get a new dryer. He would have been happy to order and install it but we agreed with him that a significant monetary investment in a dryer that old was probably not the best use of our funds.

    One Hour Appliance and Repair
Stay far far away from this business. I wish I could give zero stars. He came out with 2-10 home buyers warranty and looked at our washer. His butt crack was hanging out the entire time he was here. Very unprofessional. Said we needed a part so he got it ordered with 2-10 and said he would be back when the part came in. A few weeks later he came back with the part and had his son with him as his helper. They came in and started the repair on the washer. Once the repair was done he didnt show me the washer worked or anything. He and his son walked out of here so fast his son dropped a hammer on my wood floors. I went in and started a load of laundry. The control panel to the washer was very loose and dented at the top. The water wouldnt run and my husband was able to get that fixed. But the washer randomly stops in the middle of a cycle and will not start back until its unplugged and plugged back in. It did NOT do this before he came out. I called him back within 5 min of them walking out of my house and he argued with me and told me he wouldnt leave it like that. I then hung up and called 2-10 who said that he would need to come back out to my house to warranty his work which I was not comfortable with but had to agree to since that was the only way I could get my washer fixed. He csme back out a third time and as soon as he walked in my washer said I didnt leave it like this which was a complete lie. He then proceeded to bang it and dent it even more and was so loud my husband rushed downstairs to find out what was going on. He said maybe you didnt realize it was like that when you left the last time and he started yelling at my husband saying you questioning my integrity over and over again. He then left after denting my washer even more and doing nothing. I called 2-10 who tried to get him to come out again and he refused. I ended up having to file with his insurance company and had to put in a statement and since he lied on his statement I get nothing other than a broken washing machine and money out my own pocket to buy a new one

Ivan was prompt and came out on the weekend. He diagnosed the issue accurately and completed the repair at a reasonable cost. Some appliance contractor repair groups make you feel like they are guessing or burning labor hours. Navi did not.

Ivan was prompt & courteous. He was efficient & got the job done for a reasonable price-with a 90 day warranty. Soon after he left, the ice maker started making a horrible, high-pitched screeching sound whenever we used it. I talked with Ivan & he came to see what was going on. At first he thought we needed a new motor (part was $150), but he kept digging & found the real problem & took care of it. NO CHARGE. I chose Ivan because of reviews, but also because he is a local owner of a small business.

Ivan did a great job of diagnosing the problem with my cook top vent; he ordered the parts and returned to install them. He was on time, courteous, professional and reasonably priced. I am completely satisfied with his work and will call him again when the need arises.

Piedmont Appliance Repair Inc aka PAR
The work done by PAR WAS excellent but ultimately unsuccessful. The technician came out and diagnosed either the computer board or internal wiring quickly by eliminating other possibilities. He agreed to order a board and come out and install at no additional charge. Unfortunately, I was informed the board was no longer available. At that point, I took it on myself to have the board repaired and asked for the technician to take the board out and show me how to reinstall it. He did this for a reduced further charge. Unfortunately, the board checked out good so I never got th he water dispenser to work. Throughout it all PAR WAS efficient, knowledgeable, and charged fairly for services rendered.

I was having a problem with my gas oven where it would heat up, but after a few minutes it would cycle off/on repeatedly, and food was not being fully cooked. The technician arrived early and was friendly and professional, but wasn't sure what the problem was. His best guess was to replace either the electronic probe or the main board. He called to check on the availability of parts, but only the probe was available. I was hesitant to spend money on the part, since the oven is probably at least 13 years old (it came with the house when we moved in last year). He specifically told me that if the probe did not fix the problem, I would not be charged for the part. A few days later the part was in, and the technician scheduled the follow-up visit for installation. This time he was late. He explained that he was running behind schedule, and as a result, he was only at my house for 10-15 minutes to install the part (it was very simple--only one screw and wire to plug in). The oven fired up, but he didn't stick around to make sure that it didn't start cycling off after a few minutes. He told me to call him if it didn't work, and rushed off to his next appointment. That night at dinner I tried it out and the issue was not resolved. My frozen pizza turned out to be a thawed, slightly warm, but not fully cooked pizza. The next day I spoke to the technician on the phone. Since a replacement board was unavailable, my only option was to buy a new oven. I asked him about receiving a refund for the probe as we had previously discussed, and he assured me that I would not have to pay for it (my only charge would be $99 for the service call). That was fine, however, it ended up not being true. After a couple weeks of phone calls, I finally got in touch with the owner, but he would not honor the agreement the technician had made. In the end I paid $193.20 to have my oven stay exactly as broken as it was in the first place, and then had to buy a new one. I will never use this company again.

    123 APPLIANCE REPAIR
Ron got back to us within 10 minutes of our calling the company. He arrived on time for our appointment and after inspecting the refrigerator, he told us we needed a new evaporator. Because it was a Samsung, he had to get the part from Greensboro, and had it to us within 1 day. He called 1/2 hour before coming so we could move food from the refrigerator to coolers, and he had the whole job done in a little over an hour. Ron was very punctual, professional, and friendly. We were very pleased, and would ask for Ron again if we needed service on other appliances.
