    The repair man was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable.  We explained the issues we were having and he immediately identified the problems and made the repairs with supplies from his truck.

    We called Mr. Appliance on May 18th to schedule someone to come out to our home to repair the water dispenser on our refrigerator. It was important to have someone come to fix the repair prior to June 2nd, because the closing was that day, and this needed to be fixed prior to the walk-through and closing. The woman who answered the phone at Mr. Appliance scheduled the repair the following week (May 28th). The day before the appointment (May 27th) another woman called and said they did not have a technician, and she stated, "I don't know why SHE even scheduled it!" Well, the next available appointment was for June 4th, but that was too late. Very disappointing.

    It is difficult for me to make this negative review of Appliance Service Company, because at first the company really, really tried to fix the ice maker problem over a period of months.  They made many trips to my home and honestly tried to fix the thing without gouging the price of the work.  They stood behind everything they replaced, but could never isolate and fix the malfunction. Unfortunately, in the end, they just gave up and said they had run out of things they could try. If they had repaired the device I would have had nothing but great things to say, but since they weren't able to repair it and then just left me hanging, I can only say I can't recommend them.  I hate to give this negative report, since nobody is perfect.   I don't believe this is normal for Appliance Service Company, but it is my true experience.

    I was very impressed with the quality of service and reasonable pricing offered by Mr. Appliance.  Their technician showed up on time, explained everything he was doing, finished his repairs quickly, and made no attempt to sell anything beyond what we needed.   I would recommend this company to anyone in need of prompt and reasonable appliance services.

    GE Factory Service
    I called the GE Factory Service I was please to have an appointment available same day. Mr. Jack Harrelson represented GE Factory Service. He was prompt and efficient (only thirty minutes). He did not wear shoe covers or provided a business card. I was promised a senior discount of ten percent (10%) on service call, parts and labor. Mr. Harrelson said he could only extend the senior discount for the part only which came to $ 1.76. I was totally annoyed. I immediately called the GE Factory Service Center and activated a complaint. The service advocate named Tim assisted me with a filed complaint and offered prompt reversal of some of the charges.

    The technician arrived on time; he put covers over his boots to protect my floors, and went right to work assessing the problem.  Within minutes he had a diagnosis of the problem and explained what needed to be repaired.  He said the ice maker had stripped a nylon gear and needed to be replaced.  After I agreed to the work and cost, he said he had an ice maker unit on his truck and went to get it.  He had it installed and tested in about 10-12 minutes.  He gave me a discount on the unit's cost and labor rate because I was an existing customer.  He had come out previously to solve a different problem on the same refrigerator/freezer.  He was quick, accurate, courteous, and priced right.  In other words, all the things I feel are important in an in-home repair technician.

    They were careful about cleanliness in our home, very courteous, and resolved the problem. As a result, I purchased a maintenance contract for all of our appliances. They offered a coupon for the work and also applied it to the maintenance contract increasing the value of the service. I would definitely recommend them to neighbors.

    Washing machine stopped working during rinse cycle. loud buzzing noise continued until machine was turned off. Called Appliance Alliance and said they'd send a repair man that day! (previous calls to other companies was a day or two wait). Received a quote over the phone $75-125, depending on problem. punctual arrival, turned on  machine and diagnosed problem immediately. It was a broken linkage to motor. repair took 20 minutes. serviceman was friendly and engaging. he explained how the parts work and showed me the broken plastic linkage. The part may have been fairly inexpensive, but I could never have fixed it myself. the guy was a pro. $75 later and I'm happy.  A+ job.
