    He said he was licensed General Contactor, insured and bonded. I told them about what happened with other contractor up front. That we are disabled and I have brain damage. That we do not make money. What we have from the sell of our home is all the money we have to build with. I wish I had not been open with them now. I feel as they seen us as easy targets to scam knowing we can not afford to sue the first contractor and finish part of home improvement. He dropped what they was doing to come get our money. I have the phone call of him telling us he guarantee the money for deposit was only for our materials. And tell us how he would not do anyone wrong. We gave our consent to record our calls. Listening to it now it was all untrue. We told them we only had $20,000 to do job. He said he could build garage for that price. We said we had one more contractor on his way. He said if we did not give him $5,000 now the price and place in line would change if he left. We signed contract and Paid $5,000 in cash on 10/17/2018. On 10/26/2018 I told contractor we couldn't afford to get permit in our name. He said to just build without a permit. I keep telling him I want it to be inspected and legal in case we had to sell later and we could not afford a new building permit in my name. Him and his wife keep telling us that where we live just to build it without proper authorization. I said our last home we sold we had problems with addition not permitted. They keep saying realtor have ways around that. After many talks on 11/12/2018 I texted and asked if he was starting tomorrow. He asked if I got permit. I said no. He said he needed more money for him to get fill, permit and plans over $2,500 upfront. We said we told you we only have $20,000 and already payed you $5,000 of that money. He said he will work on new price with cutting back on finishing garage. I said no. On 11/13/2018 we asked for money back. He said he spent on other things. He said he will pay us the $5,000 back as soon as he can. He would pay us back hopefully with in a year. I said thats not good for me and asked if I should talk to attorney. He got mad said I was threatening him. And them they started saying that the deposit is mostly not refundable in most cases. Then he did promise to pay us in full just how and when ever he can. Said he had $500 to pay but he did not. No work proformed and no materials.

    The contract was entered into on this date: 04/25/2018. I was told 3 weeks to complete job. Still waiting for work to get done. Concrete footing and brick work are done after 4 month. We had to pay the brick mason TJ subcontracted out to keep from getting lien on our home. The Permit that was purchased was not for the complete job and no subcontracting, permit is in pdf file can not upload. Brush and trees are in plies front and back yard. Have not been able to use one of our back door for months. He asked for money for materials he had delivered, we paid him $1,500 and then he come to move materials to pour concrete and for load of fill for porch and exchange 2x4 on Sept 6. Concrete truck never showed up and fill load is dirt with roots in it. So he took all of the materials and left. As of today 10/4/2018 no materials or work being done.

    Received a message was sent though the A/L message system while I was typing up my earlier review for their terrible customer service & repeated no shows. 
    Once again the COURTESY of a phone call was not made.   Good thing I checked the A/L message system again.  The message was from the receptionist of the company stating their apologies but that the technician who was to come had a family emergency & had to leave town.  There is no other technician available today and they understand my desire for a refund, or I can try & reschedule with them again on Tuesday. 
    I choose the refund.  There exist companies that provide customer service that creates happy customers, referrals & repeat business.  Those other companies deserve my business far more than Weather-Tite Exteriors, LLC has proven.

    Weather-Tite Exteriors LLC
    Awful.  Just awful. 

    Weather-Tite Exteriors LLC suffers from a severe lack in professionalism.  Is this a real company?  Given over a month of scheduling opportunities, the result has been 3 scheduled appointments and 3 no shows.  As in no one showed up or bothered to call. 

    Weather-Tite Exteriors LLC should be ASHAMED.  This is a failure of the company to meet its commitment for the 3rd time.  Their customer service is horrible.  Refusing to interact except through the A/L message system and that with a substantial time lag.  Third no show, no call at all, no message.  Weather-Tite Exteriors has provided me with the worst customer service experience I have ever endured as a home owner. 

    I cannot believe this horrible experience.  It is now 1pm and still there has been no call, no text, no message for today's appointment.  I have called three times so far today and the calls are just forwarded to voice mail.  I am contacting A/L to get a refund.  Shame on you Weather-Tite Exteriors!

    Scheduled for 5/15 9am

    5/8 - Confirmed appointment day & time with Weather-Tite

    5/15  9am  - No show, no call, no message. 

    5/15 - multiple contact attempts though morning

    5/15  - Callback to cancel and reschedule received (11am) TWO hours after the appointment was scheduled.

    Possible stormy weather reason given for need to reschedule.  Understandable, but no apology or explanation for not calling prior to appointment time given.

    5/20 - RESCHEDULED for 5/26 9am and appointment confirmed by company

    5/26 9am - No show, no call, no message, no response at all

    5/27 - After two days off from work, I requested that Weather-Tite Exteriors reschedule for a Saturday appointment since I had twice been disappointed with no shows during the week.

    5/28  - Called & left yet another voice mail and another message through the A/L system

    5/29 - Company sent message offering Sat 6/7

    5/30 - Appointment accepted & I offered any time before 2pm.  Requested that I be called or messaged the time to expect them. 

    6/3 - Appointment confirmed by company via message system but no time given

    6/6 - I reached out again asking for a call back with an ETA and that earlier is better since likelihood of afternoon storms  now

    TODAY 6/7 -  called and left voice messages and sent messages through A/L before 10am, two more mesages before writing this & no response still.  I am requesting a refund.

    The level of customer service that I experienced at AAA Gutters was outstanding. A couple of days after speaking with the office manager and requesting an estimate, I received one via email. I had a question regarding moving the downspouts because I thought that their current location did not allow for proper drainage away from the foundation. The person that performed the estimate had already addressed the issue in the email (accompanied by a detailed schematic of the planned work) but I did not see that initially. Five days from the original request for an estitmate, I received email notification that the work had been competed. My neighbors have informed me that the new gutters look fabulous(This is a rental property that I own in North Carolina).

    Everything went well as far as the service. They came in a timely manner and did an excellent job. They cleaned up well. The price was a little bit high but they did have a lot of work to do. I was pleased with the service. A lot of businesses do really good while they are getting the job, but they all kind of slow down afterwards, and they fall in that category on punctuality.
