Flooring reviews in Kernersville

It went very well. Eric is very meticulous about his work and explained everything to me as he went. It took a day longer than anticipated but that didn't impact the price. . . I have another room to do and will get him to come back.

    Manoli Miliotis llc
Great, Manoli and his crew gave is everything we asked for and we're very respectful and appreciative of the work. They went above and beyond what the original work entailed and didn't cut any corners along the way

    Premier Hardwood Flooring
Almost 3 years ago, we had our floors replaced with real hardwood. About 8 months into them being installed, they began to 'cup'. Having a 2 year warranty, we called the owner to come look at them. He did come out, agreed there was an issue. Checked moisture levels in wood, all normal. Then proceeded to tell us that because of humidity, these things happen.....huh?? We live in the south!! There are 2 reasons for floors to 'cup', either there was too much moisture in the wood when installed, or they were installed too tightly. He suggested we give it a few more months, and maybe they would go down. This would not be the case, so we called the owner again, and he brought the owner of the wood manufacture with him. Again, testing the moisture in the wood, looking underneath our house, trying to do anything except accept blame. They finally said they would come in and sand/refinish the floors, 2 years later!! So once again, we had to move out of our house, live in a hotel, board animals, all at our cost. They showed up, not happy about some furniture still in house, but that was the agreement, for them to move furniture. (We had already moved as much out as possible, in kitchen/garage). A week later, our floors were refinished, and looked beautiful again! This lasted for about 8 months, and now they are starting to cup again. Oh, and the furniture, THEY NEVER came back to move it back!

It doesn't get better than David. Please do not look any further. If you want a stand up person, amazing work with a strong attention to detail, extremely fair price, respectful, responsible and all around great experience look no further. You don't need to research or read anymore reviews. My wife and I just bought a home and the only experience that we have had that was worth my time writing a review was with David. He literally went above and beyond for us and for that he has earned our trust. Our floors are incredible and you will not be disappointed!

    Tom Nagle
Great! The situation was very disheartening and stressful, Tom and his crew made it a whole lot easier to deal with by doing great work and offering good advice.

I had a master bedroom and bathroom addition put on my house 7 years ago. The carpenters who did it were very experienced and everything else is structurally sound and doing wonderful, except the bathroom. One serious mistake caused lots of damage. They didn't take the membrane of the shower pan completely over the lip. Instead, the membrane was covering only half of the top of the lip, and screwed in. Over 7 years, water dripped down through the screws, and wicked out from there. Eventually, it caused the joists and flooring underneath of the tile to rot. All of the original work was inspected and approved. Then to top it off, my homeowners insurance is refusing to pay. The situation that brought Tom and his crew to my house was nightmarish, but they took a horrible situation and made it better. I have to say that my new bathroom actually looks better, and is structurally sound, thanks to Tom and his crew.

Note to homeowners: hire Tom, who specializes in shower pan installation. All carpenters are NOT created equal in this specific area. Bathrooms take "lots of know how" due to all of the water, and possible water damage. Since kitchens and bathrooms sell houses and increase their value, take the time and money to hire a specialist.

Tom and his crew did a fabulous job remodeling our bathroom and we will call him for any additional jobs. They were always punctual and professional and worked consistently during the entire job. We are very pleased with the results and attached a picture below:

The carpet stretch went well.  The stretch looks ok.  The wrinkle in the carpet isnt 100% gone.  I can see a mark where it was... I dunno, maybe I expected too much.  The repair was poor.  They used a piece of my carpet from elsewhere, however you can very easily see the lines where it was cut.  I dont know if it was turned 90 degrees or what, but its VERY obvious its a patch.

Their service was very poor. The carpet pad did not extend all the way under the baseboard, so visible gaps were present between carpet and baseboard. In one corner they cut the carpet too short, and stuffed carpet trimmings in the gap to hide the mistake. There were muddy footprints left in one room that did not need carpet that the contractor denied causing. Visible gaps were left in two closets where small pieces of carpet were joined. I was supposed to meet the contractor at the house for a final walkthrough/repair and they never showed that day. Additionally they processed my final credit card payment without authorization before repairs were complete. Pay a little bit more and save yourself a headache!

    Countertop Solutions
I learned of this company through a friend who had her countertops replaced and cabinets refaced which all turned out absolutely beautiful. We decided to go with the Cambria Bradshaw and Countertop Solutions has already completed the installation of our new kitchen countertops. We are saving for a full cabinet refacing and new flooring which I hope to begin the first of the year and am look forward to working with this company on both.
I really enjoyed the experience because we dealt with the owner from the beginning to the end of the project. He brought samples with him to our home which saved me from having to make several trips to a showroom. The installation was done in one day which also included the tear out and removal of our old countertops in addition to the installation of our new sink (which he provided) and all the necessary plumbing. I can not say enough about how professional and stress free this experience was for my husband and I. We are extremely happy with our new countertops and I can not find one negative aspect to this remodel.

They were responsible for all sub-contractors, such as the wood flooring company and plumbers. They were very professional and responsive and proactive about things that needed to be done. Overall, a very good experience.
