  • This is one of the most efficient Dr's offices I have ever been in. You rarely ever see anyone else sitting in the waiting room! I thought that they must not be that busy. However, I think that they just do a really good job of managing their patient load. After my first appointment, they scheduled my next 4 appointments on the spot. After my 5th appointment, I was to come back in 8 weeks. They are so booked with established patients, that the first appointment they could get me was in 12 weeks. So, while that isn't great, it refutes my notion that they aren't busy! However, when I first called to try to get in to see them, I was given a new patient appointment within 2, maybe 3, weeks, I believe, of contacting them. So, they do a good job of holding open appointments for new clients.

I also appreciate that this is the first neurologist I have ever seen that did an EEG, drew blood and measured neck flexibility at the first appointment, along with the standard blood pressure, pulse, and weight. This seemed very thorough to me.

UPDATE SEPT. 2013: While Dr. Freeman's treatment plan was successful reducing frequency and severity to once a week, I became disillusioned that he did not make an effort to improve the frequency beyond that point, particularly knowing that when I have a headache it can last 3 days requiring medication a couple times over the course of the 3 days.

Additionally, he rushed to do a nerve conduction/EMG due to my report of numbness dead feeling in two toes on each foot without even looking at my feet prior to year end in 2012. It made me feel he was interested in a high dollar procedure. When I next saw him, he never even mentioned the results of the nerve conduction test. Right, wrong or indifferent, I couldn't help but wonder if his reluctance to continue to change my medication wasn't because he wanted to continue to do the trigger point injections, which are also a higher cost procedure certainly than office appointments that prescribe medication!

    I have moved on.
