  • Got an appointment for the day after I called. Appointment was for between 12:00 & 2:00. Gentleman was here at 12:30. Looked at problem, found a ice maker in Winston Salem, went and picked it up, returned and installed. Gentleman was very pleasant and easy to talk with, would definitely hire again?

  • It went excellently. First off, The Cooler Guys will WORK ON SAMSUNG refrigerators. If you start looking for service on a Samsung you will learn very quickly most people won't touch them. Richard did a great job finding the problem and fixing it for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them because they did an excellent job for a reasonable price, and they work on Samsung.

    I asked about an additional service to my refrigerator while he was here and he took care of it as well.

  • John Michael and Associates repaired my Samsung refrigerator. The freezer had stopped cooling to the desired temperature after 15 months of purchase. I contacted Lowe's Home Improvement and Samsung and was told that it was no longer under warranty. I decide to call someone from the Angie List providers and went with John Michael and Associates. They were very friendly and courteous. The service was outstanding and very professional. The service rep called and set a time that he would arrive, and was on time each time. I turns out that the repair was covered by Samsung, and I got a full refund from John. These guys are great.

  • I contacted Tim on Friday afternoon.  He said he would come over Saturday morning.  Prior to his arrival I did some research on the cause of the suds error which indicated a possible bad pressure sensor or control unit.  Upon his arrival I shared that information with him.  He performed several operational checks on the washer and then told me to leave it unplugged for an hour to possibly resolve the error.  He appeared to be disinterested in the problem and told me he had several other service calls he had to attend to.  He called back 5 hours and I told him the error had not cleared.  He said he would return on Monday to run diagnostics on the machine.  On Monday, he called and said he was going to order a pressure sensor and would come on Tuesday to replace the part.  He arrived on Tuesday and opened the washer and took some readings from the washer (the first time he really did any diagnostics).  At that time he said he had to go back to the shop to order the part.  He returned several hours later with a pressure sensor and did the installation.  A subsequent operational check revealed the same error and he removed the replacement part and put the original back in place.  He then charged us $80 for the service call and suggested I seek another opinion, or he could come back tomorrow with a control unit for the washer.  It appeared he either did not have the knowledge or training to repair the washer.  If that was the case, I would have rather him just tell me that up front, as opposed to wasting four days as our dirty laundry continued to grow.  At this point, I have decided to call an authorized Whirlpool service technician to repair the washer, which I should have done in the first place.  I contacted Tim as he was local and had good reviews and I was looking for a quick resolution to the problem.  What I received was a bill for $80, four wasted days waiting while the laundry piled up, and a washing machine that is no closer to being repaired.

  • Luis responded to my telephone call promptly and when he came to the house, he was prepared with a panel to move the refrigerator without scratching the floor.  He is extremely clean and neat and repaired my refrigerator in a professional manner, showing me exactly what he needed to do, etc.   I thought his price was very fair, and he called me the next day to be sure that everything was working!   I would recommend Luis to anyone who needs appliance service.

  • David Hanger - Technician called when he was on his way with his ETA.  He was there on time. He had a neat professional appearance and seemed to know his business.  David did a brief analysis of the issue and gave me a recommendation to buy a new dishwasher even though he could have repaired my old one and he does not install new units. He quoted a price for the repair. The part he needed to replace along with the labor would cost almost as much as buying a new unit from Lowes with the current Black Friday sales. He suggested I price a new one and then call him to let him know whether I wanted him to return and repair the unit or buy a new one.

  • Overall I'm very pleased. I always find these types of appliance repair to be more expensive than I think they should be, but that's just me. He was here for 30 minutes and had it repaired with just a belt so all in all I'm happy with the results.
