    My first negative experience with Angie's List. I called and left messages for Meyers for two days (10.22&23.2019) and sent an email on 10.22. I couldn't get in touch with him so I was never able to request the service I needed. I assume from the great rating/reviews that he must be very busy, but still disappointing. I found another plumber (not on Angie's List) who completed the work satisfactorily. I will use Angie's List in the future.

    They fixed the leaking pipe but they also found the cause which consisted of several other areas of piping to replaced. I loved their knowledge, quick thinking. I will definitely recommend this company.

    All Clear Drain and Sewer
    I was not happy with ALL CLEAR. Joe didn't fix my problem and wasn't happy climbing in the crawl space. He complained the whole time and broke my door and charged me way too much for not fixing the clog pipe. I ended up having to call a real plumber and he fixed it. Joe kept saying he is not a plumber so you need to take him off your plumbing list which that is what i asked for and his company came up. i ended up googling a real plumber and got the job done. I feel so ripped off.

    Work was done on a sat.which is the best time for me.They said they were busy but worked me in.It was not long until they arrived.Nick was the plumber who done the work.He was very nice and professional.He fixed the problem quickly.After he was done he cleaned up the area.The price was fair for the work done.I will use them again if needed.Again Nick was a very nice guy.

    The valve needed to be repaired, however, the plumber did not have a replacement valve with him. He said it would be several days for him to find and replace the valve which would have put the shower out of commission because he would have had to remove valve and take it with him to match it. We just decided we would choose a day and try to do it ourselves. The plumber was very professional and very nice.

    They made a beautiful gate. It swings open, it's an automatic gate. It's beautiful. It came out absolutely gorgeous. You call them and they are there. They are right on the spot. They are an excellent company. They're unbelievable. They charge me nothing to come out and fix anything. It was great.

    This is the first negative review I have ever felt like was warranted.He was punctual for the estimate. Then I heard him talking to the warranty rep. He was laughing stating that we were going to be mad. The phone was on speaker and the warranty person replied laughingly let them get mad. He then turned the speaker off when he saw me walk out of the garage. I knew something was up. I worked construction for a long time before becoming a high school teacher. His whole explanation for all the up charges that we were responsible for were to bring it up to code. First the pedestal had to be lowered. He stated that it had to be brought down to 18" from 22" to meet code. Code for a garage is a "minimum of 18 inches". That meant all the water lines, ventilation and gas lines had to be reworked. He then added in dielectric unions. I called the manufacturer and they stated that the heater was already fitted and protected. His estimate pricing on the invoice did not even even add up and he only explained it by that it had to be brought up to code. The lead inspector for Cabbarus construction standards stated that the pedistal did not need to lowered or changed. That the whole thing was considered an appliance exchange/replacement. The only thing that had to be added was a thermal expansion tank because we are on city water and have a closed water system to bring it up to code. We contacted the local gas company after the warranty company refused to send out another technician. Their price was over $600 less, saying the upgrades were not neccesary and assured us everything would be up to code. The gas company did say the only thing needed was the thermal expansion tank and a CO2 alarm for the house which came at no charge. Two more phone calls with American Home Warranty with no resolution. They stood with their contractor. When my wife called back to Pro-tec Jessie stated that they were all required upgrades to bring it up to code. When we told him about the county inspector and the representative from the gas company he said that did not matter he was bringing it up to his code and his standards. The so called bringing up to code was, in my opinion padding/fluffing up the bill. Be leary of this company and his so called up charges bringing it up to code. I trust the Cabarrus county inspectors and PSNS gas company. American Home Warranty said they would not send out another tecnician, that they believed Pro-tec over the Cabarrus county inspectors and PSNC natural gas company. Verbatim. PSNC is doing the job. Just be wary folks and do a little homework and ask a few questions. Or find someone you can trust.

    The tech who originally quoted the job a few months ago was no longer with the company, so they sent someone out a few days ahead of the scheduled date for the work to make sure he was familiar with the scope of work. As expected, all-day job to remove existing water heater and spare tanks, and install tankless. No surprises or extra charges at completion of job. Good customer service throughout, including scheduling and arranging financing.

    Called William who said he would be by to check out my situation that morning. He came within 2 hours and immediately diagnosed the issue. Did some repairs on the spot and said the main issue was a pressure regulator. He said he unfortunately couldn't get to it that day but could the following morning. His tech showed up early the next morning and repaired the issue! Couldn't have asked for better professionalism, service, and responsiveness.
