  • The tech looked at unit, stated the draft motor was bad. cost between $450 and $650, would let us know exact $ on Monday. We never heard from him again. I had to call another company and they fixed the unit with a minor part ($10) and a service call.

  • Upon removal of flex duct discovered that only flex duct had mold. Not hard duct. Called Sam to get refund. Was told I couldn't get refund because they paid cash to there supplier and they would not take it back. Also that they don't do enough duct work and it would be sitting around there shop. I found box they delivered items in and had there supplier information. I called and was told that they would take it back,but it was purchased with card and money would have to be put back on card. Cost was 900 and 1000 for items. Called Sam back told him what I found out about card instead of cash, difference in 1440.00 and 900- 1000 dollars, and the supplier would accept items back. He said that the regularly increase price, and I would have to talk to Jeff Young. So I called Mr.Young explained to him. He said he would have to look at invoice and get back to me. Didn't call back after several attempts got him back on phone said hadn't had time to look at invoice would call me back. Tried calling him numerous times with no answer. Finally son answered phone handed it to Mr. Young he told me he was waiting on call from his supplier (the person I spoke to). Never did call me back. I called the supplier (same guy) said he did know he was supposed to call him. I cannot get Mr. Young on phone. Appears to have blocked my number. Goes straight to voice mail. Bottom line is this company increases prices for parts, refuses to do refunds ( not told or on receipt), and lies. I do recommend doing business with this company.

  • I found Tier 1 Heating & Air off of Angie's List due to their $109 tune up special for the AC / heating unit. I have been experiencing issues with mine so called them up. They were able to come out during the same week to do the tune up. It came to my attention that my HVAC system had been leaking, and was 11 years old. After being given my options, the service rep Cody filled up the unit with Freon, and scheduled a sales rep out to take a look.

    About 2 days later, I worked with Brad (sales rep) who confirmed everything from the previous visit, but also recommended that I install a zoning system for better comfort and increase efficiency. We went over the options and I decided to go through with it. They came out about a week later to do the install. Not only did they fix the issue, but they also credited my $485 that I spent on Freon to my new service so I wasn't out that money. The job took about 7 hours to do, and now I have a nice cool house, and the unit is working great! Brad & the Tier 1 team did such a great job, and was so efficient, I will recommend them to anyone.

  • During the service, Tech suggested a air cleaning system be installed to improve the air quality in our home.  Somewhat skeptical because of similar device installed by previous company, but I did agree to a trial.  Our home has animals so we are conscious of the odor they sometimes bring.  This system is unbelievable.  The house is fresh and pleasant to come home to.

  • Great as usual. Mike came out as scheduled on time and checked out my system to make sure everything is working properly for the upcoming winter season. I'm glad I can always count on them to make sure my house is comfortable and safe for my dogs while I am away.

  • CMA had tried everything to get the unit to stop flipping over to heat and turning my home into a sauna and becoming fatal for my dogs and damaging electronics and furniture in it. I was making several trips from work throughout the day to check on my dogs and to make sure the heat hadn't come on. I wasn't leaving hte house in the evenings or weekends. The paranoida and concern was taking over my life. After many trips and research into this issue, Mike suggested separating the AC unit from heat all together and just using the gas furnace for heat and AC for cool. I've not had any issues since and I feel safe again, not having to worry about leaving the house and the dogs inside or coming home to a house in the temperatures over 100 degrees.
    CMA showed such compassion and concern for my problem, they made me a priority with every phone call and visit. They did not charge me for the extra service visits. It was important to them to fix it right the first time and since we were all puzzled by why the new parts weren't correcting the issue, they did not feel right charging me any more money to come to a final resolution. They spent numerous amounts of hours on their own dime and that speaks a lot about a company's ethics and beliefs in customer service. I completely trust them and will not use any other AC/Heat company in the future. I now consider them family and tell everyone about how great and more importantly, trustworthy they are. Thank you CMA! You have given me and my furr babies hope in my house again!
