    It went great.  It’s a 14 year old car and when I would go over a bump it would squeak.  It’s been great and I haven’t had any complaints from that part of my car.  They’re just real down to earth guys and they tell me what’s wrong.  They explained why I needed the new parts and saved me money.  They’re good and they came recommended from a colleague at work.  She and her family have had work done from there.  I would use them again if I still lived over there, but I’ve moved to Kannapolis now.  So I should find someone closer to that side.

    Eric correctly diagnosed the problem and set up an appointment for the following morning. He competed the work in the time promised, at a very reasonable price.  I have used Eric's Automotive for at least seven years and have found his work to be very good.  One thing I appreciate is that he does not try to find others things wrong with your vehicle in order to sell other services.  Very honest and professional.

    Concord Auto Service Center
    The car failed inspection. I was informed that I needed a new steering belt, a new muffler and a new tie rod. His price was double what three other auto places quoted me in Concord and Kannapolis for the same work. Not only that, I knew that I did not need any belts for the car since I had just replaced all three of them last year. One of the mechanics checked it and said that it was in great condition and wondered why Concord Auto wanted me to replace it This mechanic explained that the belts are usually good for 100,000 miles. 
    The guy is unpleasant and tried to trick me into getting more work done, for significantly more money. The car did need a muffler and tie rod (the muffler was no surprise as the car was very loud and needed one for a couple of years). If he had been truthful and charged fairly I would have continued giving this company my business. I own three vehicles and will now be taking them elsewhere.

    They are very professional and they really know what they are doing when it comes to Japanese cars, imports.  I have two Hondas and they have always taken care of them.  The employees there are very knowledgeable and the woman in the office is very professional and owner is extremely knowledgeable.  They do good work.

    Everyone was very professional and polite. My wife and I dropped the vehicle off and went to lunch. Returned 45 minutes later to find they had sent our vehicle tech to lunch, but this wasn't a big issue, and really only a small glitch in an otherwise GREAT experience. (I mention this only to prove full disclosure) Manager showed me the issue with the coolant (said that a and quot;Stopleakand quot; product may have been added to vehicle, which made the water in radiator look like mud). Suggested that there may some crud in the radiator and thought that a flush of the system would clean out some debris. I agreed and the vehicle was done in about an hour. Only a couple of days in, but as of now, the heat will run you OUT of that Jeep. Feel great about this service and would strongly recommend CerTec to friends and family.

    I went to them in January to have my rear brakes replaced. He said I should probably have the front ones replaced as well. I agreed to this so I wouldn't have to worry about it for a while. After a couple of months, I started to hear an odd noise. They said this was the lip of the rotor, and that if I continue to drive the noise will go away. It never went away, and when I brought it back they told me I needed to replace the axle as well because the bearing rubbed against the rotor too long. I ended up spending well over $1,000.00 on the project. I asked them to give me some kind of discount, and the woman behind the counter, Teri, asked me in a rather rude fashion if I would like the car fixed or not. I didn't appreciate this.

    After the brake job done by Hilbish Ford I found a noise in my back rear area. I went back to see them and told them I didn't want to hear that rubbing back there, and I had paid them the money to do the full brake service. They said We might have to sand something down - the lip of the rotor. I brought it to them, and they told me they don't know what it is, they think it might be a bearing riding the lip of the roller. So I decided to go to my regular mechanic because if I had gone to them, they would have got it right the first time. They didn't charge me for going back the second time, but they didn't do me any good, because I've still got that noise back there. I find their prices a little on the high side. They are close and the people are friendly.

    Cloninger Ford Salisbury is the only dealership I trust. I must have gone up there 12 times and they do a good job. They don't overcharge me. One time I went up there for my brakes and they gave me one price, and it came out and the price went up, and I didn't like it. I asked the man what was going on and he told me that the last guy had rigged my brakes and welded something that shouldn't have been done that way, it should have been fixed. I've not gone back to that guy since. The price is always fair and most of the time it is better than other people's. Most people run from the dealership because of the price. I'm running to the dealership because it is a fair price and they are going to do the job right. It is a fair place, they do the job, you don't have to wait a long time, and I don't mind going. The service technician, Donny, has been there at least 10 years. He has a lot of knowledge, he knows the cars in and out.

    Griffin Brothers Tires, Wheels & Auto Repair
    Ok, do NOT take your vehicle here. They put GEAR OIL in my transfer case and differentials instead of ATF. They told me that my rack and pinion needed to be replaced (a 1200 dollar job) and was the source of an oil leak on the truck. Got a second opinion and the second opinion auto shop laughed and stated that nothing was wrong with rack and pinion the leak was just a rubber seal that was a $10 fix. This second shop also found the gear oil issue and also observed that the "new" rotors that I had just had replaced were in fact not new as griffin brothers stated but they were used. After all this i contacted the store manager directly and explained to him every issue that had been found, and I asked for a refund. He refused to give me a refund and demanded instead that I bring my vehicle back in so they could look at it and formulate their own opinion of what happened. I refused to take my vehicle to them so that they could mess something else up or try to charge me more money for something not even broken. The store manager was also very rude. I contacted the district Manager and he issued a full refund for everything. Again, take your vehicle to this store at your own risk. The only way I'd recommend shopping here is to buy your tires here and have someone else put them on.
