    Sheets Pet Clinic
Dr Sheets is the most caring veterinarian we have ever used. She even writes personal sympathy notes when you have to put your pet to sleep. She runs an adoption service through her clinic and is very engaged with our pets. They are reasonably priced and I would highly recommend them.

    Adam's Farm Animal Hospital
Started going to Adam?s Farm Animal Hospital for our cat in 2012.  Staff although disorganized were very friendly.  The veterinarians provided respectable services initially.  One of them left unexpectedly for unknown reasons ?; at least unknown to
    us when we asked.
Dr. Oliver became the primary veterinarian for our cat and started suggesting changes to his diet and increased testing due to his age.  It seemed each visit cost $300+.  We knew since he was born that our cat had issues feline herpes and heart issues however, this past year he had major complications due to his heart.  After bringing him to the vet they recommended a different hospital for him to get emergency treatment.  At this time we spoke with Dr. Oliver about our concerns regarding costs for present life saving procedures and future costs.  We were lead to believe that prescriptions medications should he pull through
wouldn?t be too expensive, which was correct, around $400/year.  However, we were never informed that due to these medications they would require additional blood tests every three months.  Nor that these tests would run an additional $275+.  Plus should anything be found additional testing would be required.
The word ?expensive? is a relative term and can mean things to many different people. Yet knowing that one of their clients is concerned about money, a reasonable person would think that an additional $1500 per year is a significant monetary investment, provided nothing else shows up.  In less than a year we have spent nearly $4000 at the vet, which includes the cost of the life saving procedure $1700.
I realize putting a price tag on a family members life, even if that family member is a pet, seems wrong and inconceivable to many.  Yet it is still a factor of life.  Make sure you ask specific questions to this vet if you?re planning to use them.  They are not forth coming, especially when it comes to costs. I wouldn?t recommend them.

    Small Dog Boarding
Vivian has been in business for over ten years and has many references.  Some dogs sleep with her, while others prefer their own pet beds. She has a safe, secure fenced-in front yard for exercise and potty, and keeps wee-wee pads indoors. Vivian isn't surprised by "accidents" or most special needs. She has kept puppies and dogs as old as 17 years and can give medications if needed.
We bring our own dog food, which is kept in her refrigerator, because our dog is finicky.  She can work with you on your dog's dietary needs.
Relax and go on vacation or business trips knowing that your dog will be happy and safe with Vivian. Be aware that she doesn't board dogs larger than 23 lbs. She says that most of the dogs are Shitzus, Yorkies, Bishons, Toy Poodles, Mini Dachshunds, Mini Schnauzers and the like.
Arrival and pick-up times are flexible. We've sometimes had to drop-off or pick up early or quite late, when a flight was delayed. Vivian prefers to meet you and your dog prior to booking. Call her at 336-454-2499 or email at vivrob100@aol.com to arrange a convenient time for initial introductions before boarding.
Vivian also is an experienced artist who does lovely pet portraits. :-)

    Greensboro Veterinary Hospital
Dr. Pierce was wonderful! My little dog would have died if not for the hospital. We all know vet care is expensive, but they gave me different options for treatment. Also, they worked with the overnight vet (Happy Hills, also WONDERFUL) to keep my cost to what I could
afford. The office staff was just as wonderful. My dog?s shots were not up to date and there was no judgment at all. Just a very caring and understanding vet. I have had pets all my life, and this is one of my best vet experiences. The treatment, attitude and interactions reminded me of old time vet services. The practices are very modern and the technology is cutting edge. I even heard them talking about being one of the first with a new procedure, but the animal and human interactions are definitely old school. I would recommend
this vet to anyone who wants great veterinary care and professional caring service.

    Guilford-Jamestown Veterinary Hospital
Very kind, thoughtful and thorough. Vet was wonderful with him and took time to discuss and explain. Facility is modern and very clean, all staff were courteous and nice. I was leery of trying to find a new vet having used another in the area for the past 17 years. so far I am very impressed with G-J Vet Hospital. First impressions are very important and they made a great one!

    Guilford-Jamestown Veterinary Hospital
They scheduled us right away. We went in and he saw Dr. Barker and she was very nice. They did blood work and they did an examination and sent him home with some antibiotics and gave him fluids. He is doing great now.

    CAROLINA VETERINARY SPECLSTS
CAROLINA VETERINARY SPECLSTS saved his eye after he got into a fight with my sister's cat. They also made grooves in his knees so they would work when he was six months old so he doesn't want you to touch him on his back.  Their responsiveness and professionalism were excellent.

    BRIARWOOD BOARDING KENNELS
Made appointment at the last minute. Checkers was greeted by a smiling cheerful attendant. Instruction on feeding and bathing were given to the attendant. Upon returning for Checkers, he was brought out right away and glad to see me but not sure he was ready to leave at first. Very pleasant experience.

It is so hard to get a good pet sitter. We have 5 cats we can't resist a stray. I have 2 rescues, 2 strays and 1 from the pound. It is approximately $17 a visit. He does not just pop through and then walk away. He comes in and talks to them. The best way I can tell is that when we come home they just look at us like big deal you are home. I have had bad pet sitters and they are all over me when I come home like we are so glad you are home. He is very calm mannered. He is always here on time. He comes according to what you hire him to do.

    CAROLINA AIR CANINE LLC
It's a fenced-in free range dog kennel with grass and shaded areas.  The dogs are sorted by size, so they can be themselves and play.  The dogs are well-cared for, and every one that I see is excited to go there.
