    Union West Urgent Care
Very unhappy with the attitude when calling for simple information ... my son needed medical attention around midnight (when no other options for care exist other than the ER), and the gentleman on the phone would not tell me if they accept my insurance... he refused to take my information over the phone to verify insurance coverage... he spoke over me on several occasions when i was attempting to obtain information and showed very little professionalism...said that I could go on their website and "make an appointment"... nothing available for over 3 hours, and nowhere to verify insurance information... he did suggest that I call my provider (hmmm.... they're not open at midnight). Thankfully his primary provider was able to get him in 1st thing to treat his severe bronchitis. Not sure why this place refers to themselves as "urgent care" when there was absolutely no "urgency" and they didn't really seem to "care"!!??

    Presbyterian Urgent Care
It was good. It was clean and they were professional, and very helpful. For an urgent care centre, they got me in very quickly- I expected to wait for hours and they got me in in less than an hour.

    Novant Health Matthews Medical Center
Went in on a Friday night to be induced. All of the staff Nurses and CNA's were extremely nice and were amazing! I recommend delivering here to anyone!
The only complaint was the lactation consultant that came in, she was cold and unfriendly..but other than that great experience!

    Presbyterian Hospital Matthews
She has congestive heart failure, and due to a fluid buildup, she began leaking fluids from the front of her leg. As this was an extremely unusual condition we had to make a quick decision as to what we were going to do. From the time we enter the hospital, to the time we left we felt like we were covered completely in terms of getting my mother-in-law the best possible medical coverage. The folks in the emergency room were very thorough, the doctor was gentle and kind and explained everything that had been going on, he was able to relieve our concerns and ensure that my mother-in-law was getting the best possible treatment. Having had an opportunity to sit in other hospitals emergency waiting rooms, this one was a wonderful change from what I'm normally used to, it was clean and bright and I felt safe versus the loud, noisy, chaotic combat zones that I've had to sit in in the past. As it turns out we had to check her in so that they could drain the fluids off of her and so she stayed three days while they completed the treatments. They were in constant touch with me as to her status, and when I went to visit the hospital staff including the nurses, the desk personnel, and the cleaning people were all very kind and pleasant to my mother-in-law making her stay a lot more comfortable. I love the fact that they're visiting hours are so flexible, I work during the day and it gave me an opportunity to be able to go and visit with her at night so she wasn't lonely. No one looks forward to going to the hospital, this was a really good experience and I would highly recommend this hospital.

I like to go there because the medicine is always ready when I get there. If I have to call in a prescription, there is no waiting on it. I can go and be done in a few minutes. They have excellent customer service there. They have to special order some of the medication that I use, and they will special order it and keep it on hand so they don't have to order it every time I need it.

Carolinas Healthcare Urgent Care - Union West
While I was out at the horse stables with my daughter a horse smacked his head into mine, giving me a fairly large gaping gash above my eyebrow. I arrived at Urgent Care around 6 pm. After signing in it took about 20 minutes before they called me up to register. I then waited nearly 2 hours to have someone look at my eye and put the stitches in. The staff was all very friendly and pleasant. The provider who saw me was very pleasant and did a great job with my stitches. There is only a very small scar. My only complaint is the extremely long wait time. It seemed even longer with a bleeding head wound.

Even though I don't buy my groceries at this Harris Teeter location anymore, I still use their pharmacy because their pharmacists are so professional and helpful.  Both Kevin and Jon have always taken the time to answer any questions I have about my medications.  My prescriptions are always ready on or before the time they've been estimated to be ready.  It's nice to have a friendly relationship with the people who are filling your prescriptions rather than dealing with a new pharmacy tech every time you go to pick something up.  This is a great pharmacy!
