  • Mike has been my technology guru for over ten years. In that time he installed and fixed my computers and printers. When I got an iPad, he set me up with wireless. When I wanted Netflix, I called him and now I can stream from anywhere in the house. My friend recently convinced me that I needed a video doorbell, and maybe some other smart home devices. Her son just happens to work for a company that specializes in home automation so I called them. They were expensive and their sales rep was pushy. He tried to sell me a bunch of services and equipment I didn't think I needed. I decided to call Mike and asked for his advice. He recommended a Ring Doorbell, a robovac, and a simple surveillance system. He purchased and installed the equipment for a fraction of the price I was previously quoted. He also added a few light switches that work on timers and voice commands. All this stuff is simple to use even for non-techies like me. It can also be accessed from my smart phone which is great especially when I'm away. Imagine, I can vacuum my house while on vacation. I love my semi-smart home and am so thankful I thought of Mike for this project.

  • I don't remember the cost but it includes a new hard drive. He's responsive, he shows up, he returns my calls quickly; he just is overall responsible. He shows up on time and calls me if he is going to be late. I've used him for several years now.

  • It went superbly, as usual with Tom. I have relied on Tom for over ten years since I moved here. He came highly recommended and I highly recommend him to others. There isn't anything that I have ever asked of him that he couldn't resolve. He even built me a new desk top computer for my home. He is readily available and returns calls promptly. He comes to my house when necessary to fix whatever problem I might have. I have always followed his recommendations and have always been happy with the results. This time I moved to a newly constructed house and he came here to fix what he called a network wiring issue. As usual, he homed in on the problem and solution within minutes. He will come back another day with the necessary small parts to computer card to make things function well throughout the house. His prices are more than reasonable and his knowledge and expertise are top-notch.

  • As usual with PC Crisis, the repairs went wonderfully. We've used PC Crisis off and on for years, and always have been exceptionally happy with service, cost, and personality.
     When we dropped off the computer Thomas, the owner,  listened to the problem, examined the computer and gave us a best-case/worst case scenario, along with a cost for each. One of our pet rats had eaten into the battery charger, and Thomas said he'd try a refurbished charger, but told us the cost if he couldn't use the refurb.
    Several days later he called to tell us the computer was ready, and even offered to stay late for a bit if we couldn't get by that day. That's the kind of company he runs.
    When we picked up the laptop, everything worked fine, including the refurbished charger he'd suggested (which saved us about $40).
    Thomas is great at what he does. He and his employee are friendly  and affable (But not obsequious. I HATE obsequious), technically outstanding, knowledgable, and reasonably priced. As an added bonus, the store doubles as a small museum of computers and electronics from days past.

  • Tom is always available one way or another.  He is a computer genius and I wouldn't take my computer problems anywhere else.  Been using his services for several years.  Called and asked if we could bring the laptop to him to see why it was acting weird.  Of course he said yes and we went right then which was after 5 p.m..  He turned it on (he knew immediately we had an ad attack) and asked us several pertinent questions then suggested we leave it for the more in-depth analysis to check for possible further problems. He phoned the next day with the news that we had not only an ad attack but a virus as well plus the hard drive was "hanging by a thread", as I translated it; he said it was headed for an imminent crash at which point we would have lost all our data.  Gave us an estimate of time and dollars to get it up and running well; we gave him the go ahead and he had it done and ready for pickup at the end of that day.  Fixed ad attack and virus and got new hard drive and saved all data.  Super service always from this man !   We are using the computer now and no problems at all and it is much faster and smoother.  He saved us a bundle because anything else would have meant a new computer and that would have meant we didn't have our data; that would have been expensive and sad indeed to have to "start over from scratch."  His expertise is superb.  His prices are always reasonable.  Gave us our usual Angie's List discount.

  • This was a good experience. I dealt with the owner who was very knowledgable and professional and even offered me a 20% discount off the cost of his diagnostic price. He left me with the option of returning with my hard drive if I was unable to extract my files per his instructions. He seemed very passionate about his work. I plan on using him in the future for our other computer repair needs.

  • Chris was very diligent in his work and spent alot of time on trying to isolate the main trouble I was having... my slow computer ended up being a reset of our wireless router. The download was below a 56kbs .. reset router and boom.. my 6meg service jump.. still had problem with email having the red x where the images were suppose to be, and Chris would have spent more time but i could not stay on line... would recommend this service.. thanks Chris

  • We walked through the door with my laptop under my arm and timing was that Thomas Grenga could look at it while we waited.  After various diagnostic test and assurances from me that I had not dropped the thing or tried to plug in something upside down, he hit upon the bluetooth adapter as the problem.  It took some time but we were able to walk out the door  with the laptop under our arm.  We were so pleased, that PC Crisis at this moment has custody of my husband's laptop for virus removal and system cleanup.  This is our third visit to them and we would not dream of taking computer equipment anywhere else.

  • It went great! I have used Computer Pros 3 times now and each time was awesome. They have always fixed what I requested. Jim got my Time Capsule up and running within 15 min and rechecked to make sure it was still backing up before he left. He was very patient when I proceeded to ask numerous general questions about how to do different tasks on the computer. Jim then let me practice doing different steps to put stuff in my DropBox and burning a disc for pictures. He was calm and non hurried and let me do my practicing over and over till I was getting it. Jim was only at my house for 1.5 hours but I sure got a lot accomplished. Jim and Wes (I had Wes the last 2 times) are well trained, and well versed with the Mac. They are very professional and nice. I will definitely call them first when I need help with the computer at home.
    Also, Kristen, who answers the phone is very pleasant and nice!
