    Elliott's Paint Service
This was a multi-story beach house on pilings; a difficult house to paint. Ralph and his crew always showed up on time, did excellent work and were very courteous and professional. I've used them for jobs in the past and they are not only the best painters, but the best contractors of any sort that I've every worked with. After nearly a year of ocean front sun, sand, wind and rain (plus a hurricane), the exterior paint job on the house still looks great. The interior has held up great to seasonal (weekly) rentals, one of the toughest tests. When it is time to repaint, Elliott's is who I'm going to call.

From the start to finish, Walter was amazing to work with. He was always quick to get back to me and prompt in coming over for a quote, even though it was nearly two months until the winter weather passed before painting could begin. He and Joey did an incredible job on our home- it honestly looks like a new house. They were on time, polite, respectful, thorough and professional but also an absolute pleasure to have at our home. Our four year old still asks if Mr. Walter and Mr. Joey can come back! We could not be happier with the excellent work they did and appreciated all of the thoughtful touches like leaving us with the remaining paint and taking off our light fixtures without charging us extra as others would likely do. We wholeheartedly recommend Fresh Coat! They are truly the best in the area!

    Sealwize Coastal
We were very pleased with both the price and the service. We noticed Dan pressure washing a neighbor's home and he seemed to be doing an excellent job. My husband spoke to him and it turned out he had time to do our house too, while he was in the neighborhood. Dan and his helper were very pleasant, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. The house looks terrific, and we will definitely use them again!

Started the job earlier than promised.  Once Walter started the power washing he worked from early morning until late that evening.
The little bit he was unable to finish that day he completed the very next morning.  His two man crew then started applying the stain to the area that has been power washed.
The finished job was beautiful, and met my expectations totally.
Walter gave us good advice as to what type of product to use in the staining, and got the material at a better price than we could have.
This saving was passed along to us, and all we paid was for the labor, and cost of materials.

    Allied Restoration Specialist

Timeliness is not a priority with this company!!!!  They were responsive initially when it came to tearing the home apart after a water leak in the home, but now that it is time to put the home back together they are no where to be found.  The insurance company awarded them the work contract a week ago and not a single person from the company had been by to start work.  We have to walk around with shoes because the flooring is torn apart, air is escaping the home because they haven't been back to put the installation and siding back in/on the home that they tore out (meanwhile our electric bill is increasing).  The leak occurred over Labor Day holiday and since then we have been living in 1/2 a home.  We have 1 working bathroom out of 3, the tile that was torn out of the laundry area exposing crete board that has hundreds of holes exposing the home to the outside (again as our electric bill increases everyday that goes by and they fail to take any action).

Yes, they were nice people, but they are not professional.  They only communicate when we initiate contact.  They operate like a "mom and pop" business rather than the professional construction company that we expected.

Our suggestion: use them for the initial clean up and dump them if you want your home put back together in a timely manner.  Once they have the contract for the work... good luck getting them to come by your home and fix anything.  Their excuse and the problem: they are overtasked and DO NOT have the manpower to work multiple jobs.  If you want to live in a home missing floors, lighting, partial walls, air escaping, toilets etc... then hire them for your repairs, just don't expect it done anytime soon!  This is a USAA recommended company, my next communication will be to them about rethinking who they contact work to.

DO NOT use this company for repairs!  Not recommended.

    Innovative Woodworks

Work was performed on a relatively timely basis with only a few headaches on my part. The problem is that about 6 months after work was completed, 7 of the 4x4 post covers on the deck split. I contacted Mark Warner by email explaining the situation and attached pictures. He said he would contact the materials representative and get back to me. When he contacted me he informed me the materials manufacturer was sending replacement materials at no charge, and that he would take care of it and quot;no problemand quot; I thanked him and told him no big rush. This was in September 2013. Mark indicated it would take a day to fix, and that he would have it completed before Christmas. I checked in with him via text message on December 16, and he said he had been very busy but hoped to have it done by the end of January 2014. I responded that was fine. I contacted Mark again by text message on 3-22-2014 and asked him if he realized it had been almost 7 months since I first contacted him about the split post covers. He responded and quot;give me a dam (sic) break, I'll get there soonand quot; On 5-23-2014 I sent Mark pictures of post covers that were now split open instead of just cracked. His response was and quot; I know I will get itand quot;. On 6-12-2014 he sent me a text to say he didn't know when he could get to the repairs. He offered to have the materials (that the manufacturer had provided at no charge) shipped to me so that I could get someone else to do the repairs, but he would not be responsible for the labor costs. I told him I thought it would be better if he did the repairs since I had already paid him to do the job and I considered this a warranty repair. He said he warranted his work but not materials. I told him that since he selected the materials and recommended them, I thought he should be responsible for them. A phone call followed that was contentious, and ended with Mark telling me and quot;I could do whatever the f**k I wantedand quot; and hung up.

I waited 9 months for a promised repair to a substantial and expensive job. I am not pleased with the outcome.

First class company! They came exactly when they said they would, they did everything they said they would do. The crew was polite, professional, and best of all d*** good! Steve the lead carpenter even went way beyond the scope of agreed to work, when presented with additional problems on the job due to water damaged wood. I will use Erik's company every time I have any home repair that I want done in the future.

    Sniff Stucco
I called Sniff Stucco and Paul came and provided the estimate.  He explained each step as he planned to do it.  Once the bid was accepted, Paul started the work within a week, all the while keeping the area clean and organized (the work was outside a retail establishment).  Since each step required drying, he had to wait a day between steps but he did so in a timely manner.  Once done, he cleaned the entire area and I was extremely satisfied with the repairs.  I'll use Paul and Sniff Stucco for all my stucco work for certain.

    A-1 House Medic
Every thing went well at first. Since then, I've tried calling him to do some other projects for us, but he never showed up and wouldn't return calls. Now I'm needing to contact him for warranty work and he still won't return my calls. Our warranty is good for 20 years.
