    Rushin, Dr. Elizabeth E
I've been going to this dentist since 2001.  Many practices claim to treat you as family but this group of professionals actually do so.
I've had much work done under sedation with no memory of the experience and I've had quick fillings done without sedation.  Dr. Rushin is fast and gentle and her work lasts.  I give Dr. Rushin and her staff the highest accolades possible.  As much as I dislike going to any dentist I never dread coming to this practice.

We love them and they are awesome. They are all nice from the front desk all the way through. They are very busy and it can be hard to get an appointment with them. They are very accommodating if you have an emergency situation. They will work with you financially if needed as well.

    Tapper, Dr. Michael A.
Couldn't have asked for more.  They were friendly, thorough, informative, and did not rush through things.  I went in for an initial visit.  My previous dentist told me 2 years ago that I would need a crown within in a year.  Dr. Tapper determined I only needed a filling.  I easily scheduled both a cleaning and a filling for a single visit one week later.  The numbing shot was the least painful I have ever received.  First he injected the nova-cane. Then, once the numbing took place, he injected the epinephrine because the epinephrine shot hurts.  Previous dentists always gave me both at the same time.  He also slowly injected it which lessened the pain. The secretary, the hygienists, and Dr. Tapper were all wonderful.

My last appointment went great. She is very friendly, efficient, and does not cause me any pain. She is prompt. She gets you in and out of there quick. She is good. Her staffs are wonderful too. I am the one who has to be punctual. She is there and I am going to her. I do not have to wait.

    Chang, Dr. Sam L
He's wonderful. It's just him and his wife in the practice. I hated dentists but I have no problem going to him. He makes sure that I'm comfortable and not in pain. I just like the fact that he doesn't want you to experience pain. Even if someone is afraid of the dentist, he's one that will make you feel very calm and very assured. He doesn't do anything without explaining it to you first. I routinely go back to him. They file my insurance, so I don't have to do anything. They take care of everything. If I owe them anything, they just send me a bill and I can pay it on my payscale or they're happy to work out a payment plan. I had a broken tooth and I was in there the next day. Even on weekends, if you have problems, he will work you in. He will come in after hours so that he can deal with you, so that you are feeling better. One of the first things he did for me was pull a tooth. He called me three times over the weekend to make sure that I was fine. You don't get a dentist who's that way. I also got my son and two or three other people going to him.

    Matthews, Dr. Kevin P.

As mentioned above, I have used Dr Matthews for seven years or so and find his services to be excellent. He is a solid, no frills, common sense dentist who doesn't suggest unnecessary procedures and charges a fair price e keeps me in great oral health.

    Brantley, Dr. J. Adam
After a short wait, I went to the examining room where Dr. Brantley's assistant checked out the cracked crown, using the office's high-tech equipment. She also retrieved all my prior dental treatment records to determine the age of the crown and other relevant history. The dentist came in soon afterward and examined my mouth. He told me about my treatment options and the cost for each. I considered the two options and told him my decision. then he administered a local anesthetic. Before the procedure started, the assistant asked if I wanted a blanket across my legs, which felt good in the air conditioning. Once Dr. Brantley got started repairing the crown, he was finished in about 40 minutes. The color match looked great and no one (but me) could tell there wa a and quot;patchand quot; in my front tooth.
Dr. Brantley and his staff have performed all my dental care for more than 10 years. They observe the highest standards of professional competence and use the latest equipmet and technology. I have always found them to be responsive to my needs and concerns as a patient. I recommend them highly.

    Jackson, Dr. Susanne P.
The doctor spent a considerable amount of time shaping the crown to insure a proper fit.
I have had a number of other teeth repaired and the dentist that did those teeth spent nowhere near the time that Dr. Jackson did.
The staff is very friendly and they seem genuinely concerned about the patient's comfort.

    Chapel Hill Periodontics & Implants
I was thrilled with Dr. Godsey from the first visit to the last, and very happy with the way everything was handled by the technical and office staff.
Dr. Godsey was extremely friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and skilled.   He seemed to me to be thorough in his examinations, and explained carefully his findings and recommendations, and my options.  He was very patient, and was happy to answer all my questions.
He  did the Ridge Augmentation operation while I was under conscious sedation.    He and his staff took a lot of care to let me know what to expect and what to do at home afterward, and to keep me comfortable and safe during the operation.   I felt no pain during the operation and very little afterward.  I had periodic follow-up visits over the next three months while the gum healed and the bone grew.
I was told ahead of time that I might need a second augmentation if the first didn't result in enough bone growth.  However, fortunately, this was not needed.
He used a technique for doing the implants that involved an advanced computer imaging system, and a device that guides the insertion of the implants very precisely to minimize the chance of failure.
The implant operation was also done under conscious sedation, and my experience was pretty much like I described above, though it seemed much faster and simpler.  Both implants worked beautifully, my general dentist was very happy with them, and I have had no problems with them to date.
