Mr. Schmidt performed a wide range of remodeling and repairs to a residence to prepare it for sale. His careful analysis and creative solutions were exactly what I was looking for. His many years of engineering and construction experience were apparent in the way he went about the job. I rate him an "A" on all categories and would not hesitate to hire him again. Very professional - it doesn't get any better than this.

Jeremy and his crew were prompt and very accomodating. Completed project in the time estimated. Job site was cleaned up at the end of every day, and upon completion. My wife and I are very pleased with the final result!

    Salgado Painting
We were very pleased. They power washed, sanded and primed where needed before painting and used the paint we wanted - next to the best Sherman Williams paint. They were courteous, hard-working, came promptly, made sure it was convenient for us when they came, protected our plants and flowers. There price was good compared to the other estimates we received. They were in the middle.

They are the worse people. They are a huge thumbs down, they are awful! The guy that owns the company probably weights about 500 pounds, so he is limited in what he can do. He cussed me out because he had a partner with him and they were on the job one day. I didn?t know who owned the company and I was talking to the partner about an estimate to fix some rot right at a door jam in our garage, it?s kind of low lined, so water gathers there. He quoted me on replacing the entire door jam, but the guy that owns the company pulled me aside and told me off for talking to his employee. I told him, ?Well, I didn?t know it was your employee!? Really, I was talking to both of them. The employee answered me, gave me a tremendous price to replace to replace the entire door jam.
I had someone else come out here, they were able to cut that section out and replace it, just build it back for nothing. I mean it probably didn?t cost me $20 and they did a great job.

M & M also did some painting on my back door and it looked awful. I told him, ?That?s going to need a second coat!? He said, ?I?ve already given it a 2 coats!? I said, ?Well, I guess it?s going to need a third coat!?

Anyway, when the other painters came, they looked at it and they told me, ?He only gave this door one coat!? I asked them how they could tell. He said something about the pattern in the door or something, he said, ?You could tell there?s not even any paint right here!? He said, ?There?s no way that he did more than one coat!? I told him,? He told me he did 2!? He said, ?Well, it wouldn?t look like this, he did not give you 2!?

They just cheated and lied all the way around and I told him not to come back. He started harassing me, he came over to get what he had left, a ladder and a drop cloth. He came by to get it and I was talking to a tree man. He thought that I was talking to another painter and he started harassing me over that. I was afraid! We have a brick mailbox and a brick walkway and a lot of brick on our house. I was afraid he was going to come by here and throw paint all over my brick. I mean they were really nasty, nasty, nasty folks. What is it was another painted, it wasn?t any of his business, I had dismissed him.

I don?t remember the cost, I?m going to say at least maybe $300 or $400. Then he came back and said that the bill wasn?t completely paid and he wanted like another $150. I told him, ?I am not paying you $150!? We kind of went around and round and I finally told him I would give him half of it, so we settled it that way. I would give a big negative, an ?F? on pricing, they didn?t finish the job, they barely started the job and to charge me that much money. There is no quality, absolutely none! I don?t know how he is in business! For responsiveness he was terrible, he talked to me in a manner that you just don?t talk to people when you are in business.

They are amazing! Jeremy is so friendly and easy to work with. He returned emails and calls promptly. The crew showed up when they said they would, worked hard all day, and cleaned up after themselves. I'm very pleased with how it turned out!

Mr. Estrada and his team are very professional and have done great work for us over the past 8 years. Whether it's serious repair to walls, staining a deck, removing old wallpaper, or just changing a wall color, they always do a great job. I highly recommend this company.

    360 Painting
James Watson required a $1000 deposit for a $2000 quote. He arrived as scheduled with a crew to powerwash the areas to be painted. The actual painting took place a week later and was done by a sub-contractor, Family Painting of Winston-Salem. There were problems with communication and supervision. James arrived for the painting and left supervision to Jose from Family Painting. He, in turn, left not to return. I found it necessary to supervise the two men here, who were pleasant and willing to please. Late in the day I checked to find they had not painted the front porch completely and called them back as they were loading their ladders. James Watson never called or conducted a final inspection. The quality of the work done was good as were the materials used. Both the power washers and painters took care to protect plants and cleaned up after completing their work.

Beautiful job!  Sylvester made sure the home was clean before finishing.  The paint job on the deck was perfect!  I couldn't believe how careful he was painting around the hot tub and against the house.  Everything looks wonderful and I will definitely be calling him when we get ready to do our fence!  On top of the work he did, Sylvester also shared a few tips along the way when he noticed small repairs we could probably handle ourselves.  I really appreciated that.  A hard working fellow with a good work ethic.  Thank you!!

    Living Colors Painting & Remodeling
Living Colors-- Jeremy Brown and crew--  did an EXCELLENT job,  They are real pros. They know that the prep work: using high quality primers, brushes, and other tools of the trade; achieving hide and true color, painting sharp edges and cut-ins, etc., are crucial.
I'm very picky when it comes to painting. Used to paint in my younger years (I'm 63), and have painted everything pro-levelly from the entire exterior of homes-- including the toughies, front doors and windows-- to all things inside, including stair railing and trim. There are those who accuse me of being a perfectionist. Discerning people who have Pride of Ownership view it as wanting a quality paint job.
Living Colors is wonderful to work with. They bent over backwards to accommodate special requirements with understanding, cooperation, and a can-do attitude, without any whining or push-back. They aren't the cheapest, but they've VERY REASONABLY priced, given the quality of workmanship.
Know well that Living Colors often has a backlog of business during peak painting season, and maybe all the time. Don't be surprised if they can't come quickly. Schedule well in advance
I must say, I write this review with one misgiving: wish I could not write one more positive review to add to their pile of positive reviews, because it might make the line for their services even longer! We have another house that needs to be painted, as my bride and I are combining households. But, they DESERVE an excellent review, so I'm sharing this information, as, in the spirit of Angie's List, we want them to continue to do well!   We'll most likely patiently wait in line for Living Colors for this job. They're worth it.
