    AAA Blinds & Decor
A difficult job working with ready made sheer baloon curtains requiring quite a bit of adjustment and infinite patience. AAA blinds gave me the name of their installer, Craig Carroll who was wonderful - his 30yrs of professional experience was put to the test on this job. So happy with the results!!!

    Walls To Windows
Our experience with Jewel Stafford, the owner of Walls to Windows, can best be described as peculiar. We purchased drapery panels for our dining room. As we already had the fabric and the drapery hardware, the work only involved the fabrication and installation of the drape panels. The drapes were well made but additional work was required to remove wrinkles and adjust the length. This was to be done once the drape panels were in place and allowed to hang for a few weeks. In the meantime, we  asked Ms. Stafford for a quote on drape panels and hardware for our game room. She wanted to charge us ?research? time to verify the correct order numbers for the drapery hardware we selected. She also wanted to charge us extra to ?supervise? the installation of the drape panels so that the drapes hung correctly.
We advised Ms. Stafford we would not pay for product information or pay extra to insure that the draperies purchased from her had been correctly fabricated and installed as expected. That was her inherent responsibility to us, her clients. She subsequently ?withdrew? her quote. Then, when we asked on the phone that she complete the remaining work on the dining room drape panels,
she demanded we place our request in writing and hung up on us. We attempted several times to call back but she would not respond. We nonetheless complied with her demand and sent a written request.
Ms. Stafford, also had in her possession the material we had purchased for the game room drape panels. We asked in our written request that she return the material to us. She responded that she would only return the material if we agreed to meet her at the Sheriff?s Office. We agreed to this demand as well at which time she informed us she would NOT complete the remaining work on the dining room drape panels.
We are left with two drape panels of unequal length, one of which is wrinkled.

The kitchen blinds went well. The custom Roman shade (made with my won fabric) looks amateur. The locking mechanism for the cords at the top did not work, even when it was installed. It cost about $400, so my husband was upset that it did not work correctly even before it was installed. The installer put up a thing that I could wrap the cord around to keep it away from my granddaughter, which also kept the shade up.
After several months, I called to state that I was unhappy that this expensive shade did not lock when pulled up, as it should. The installer came out and told me my husband and I were raising it incorrectly. After 20 minutes, he told me the cord was too small and he would take it back to the shop to have it re-strung. My husband called them since I did not get an ETA - he was told by the installer that they wouldn't know when we would get it back until they talked to the woman who made the shade to figure out how they were going to get paid for restringing it. Then he told my husband that it didn't work right since the oil from our hands messed up the cord? My husband spoke with the owner, who affirmed we couldn't get an ETA until they figured out how they would get paid.
4 days later, they called to say it was done. A different installer came out, kept saying he did not know anything, and put it up. I had asked how we can raise and lower the shade without touching the cord, since we had been told that was an issue. They had replaced the cords, as well as the locking mechanism to hold the cords in place. The locking mechanism works, but the cords are off so that when you pull them up, the shade sits at a definite angle, so you have to pull one of the cords separately to get the shade to be even when pulled up.
I sew, and made all the rest of my drapes. I wish I had tried to do the Roman shade myself rather than pay the price I did for the shade. I don't like having to hound people to get something done right, since I was brought up - if you have time to do it again, you had the time to do it right the first time. I also don't like lots of bs answers when trying to get information.

Their service was great.  They quoted me a price and there was a screw up with the insurance.  I live in a condo and the insurance had to be perfect.  They had to actually come a third time.  When they billed me they actually gave me a discount at the end that they hadn’t told me they were going to do.  He was very kind.  I have not seen the finished results, but the tenants and realtor say it is perfect.  I was always able to reach them.  They always responded immediately.  I never did see them in person or the outcome of the work, since I wasn’t there.

It is a locally-owned business and is family oriented. They have been around for 25 years, I believe. They are up-to-date. I used them all year last year and am still using them. They have been doing one room at a time, so it has been an ongoing process; the last one was the master bedroom. They come over and recommend different set-ups for our rooms. They recommend changes that can make our house better and design floor plans in a new home too. They coordinate stuff. They are really good, and I am satisfied with their work. We can get fabrics and window treatments from them. We can have our whole house done for $2000 or three rooms for $1000, I think. We dont have to buy from them but they sell their own line of furniture. They sell blinds and all kinds of nice stuff. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.
