    I was a little surprised by how long they had the vehicle... 15 days. They had to order parts and waited for those to arrive before beginning work. Vehicle looked brand new when I picked it up. That an accomplishment for a 14 year old Jeep (which I do take very good care of. They cleaned the vehicle inside and out. Very pleased with the results. Just be aware... they will add a percentage to your bill if you pay with a credit card, and they do not accept personal checks. You'll need a cashiers check to avoid extra cost.

    WONDERFUL!! I can't tell that it was ever damaged. There is no evidence that it isn't fresh out of the showroom. I can not detect any paint mismatch whatsoever. I ran my hand down the side where it was scratched and there are no seams, bumps, dimples, or imperfections. When I went for the estimate they asked if I was going to use insurance or pay it all myself and I said if it wasn't too high I would pay it myself. They estimated about $850 to repair; the next closest was $1250 and other estimates went as high as $2000. When scheduling it I said I was going away for a week so I dropped it on on Friday and picked it up on Monday, 10 days later. It was done and ready two weeks after I went in to schedule it. I worked the whole thing from estimate to pick-up with Dave. He was polite, professional, answered all my questions and worked with me. I would definitely go back again with another problem.

    The repairs seem to have been done well and the body work is very good. Our only difficulty was getting accurate information regarding how long the repairs would take. This caused inconvenience for us, but was less important than the quality of the work.

    This was an insurance claim, so Carolina Auto Craft was one of the list of pre-approved providers that I chose based on location.  Immediately after the claim was filed, I was contacted by CAC to schedule the estimate visit.  They accommodated my work schedule with no complaint and met me during lunch for an evaluation of my car's damages.  Less than 10 minutes after arriving, I was back in my car, heading to my next appointment, with a promise to receive a written estimate by e-mail.  I called a few days later to  schedule the repairs, and arranged a rental car for the duration.  When I dropped off my car the following week (again, on my lunch-hour), they took the keys, called for my rental car without prompting, and had me on my way without a snag.  The repairs were finished when promised, and my car was returned to me in as-new condition.  They even cleaned out the inside, better than I had seen it in years!  Every employee I contacted was pleasant, efficient and professional, but without that ingratiating, over-the-top quality I find so annoyingly common these days in customer service. 
    In all fairness, one caveat should be included in this review.  Since this was an insurance claim through State Farm, none of my OWN money exchanged hands, which eliminated one potentially painful part of this process.

    When I went to them, yes they were pleasant. They explained everything and they gave us a quote on the spot. But when we picked up the car, they had overspray inside the car and didn't buff out spots or use anything to wipe the inside of the car. I don't know if they left the windows down but even inside the car there were rough spots on the wood, dashboard and mirrors and steering wheel. They called for us to pick up before this was cleaned up. They buffed some out but the person had to wait another hour or so for them to buff it. Then when we got the car home we noticed more areas that needed to be looked at and we had to go back while they had to use a solvent to get it off opn the inside of car. They buffed a few more spots as well on the outside of the car. The good thing is that they did the work we wanted and did not hesitate to do what we asked after the fact.

    From the moment we walked in the door they were extremely helpful, explained everything, negotiated with the insurance company and made the necessary repairs. They put us at ease immediately that our car would be repaired and they were confident in their ability to fix our car like the accident never even happened, and,, they did! They took our car in on the day specified, and, delivered it earlier than expected! There were no surprises come time to pick up the car, it was beautifully done and looked brand new. The estimate they provided me was exactly what I paid, no surprises! Awesome work, we are very pleased from start to finish. Definately worth the little extra we paid for the quality of work we received. Land L came in a little higher than some of the other estimates we received, but not much more than a couple of hundred dollars. It was worth the little bit extra.
