    It took the a while to come out but they told me in advance. Since it was summertime, it would take a little while. They were trying to get me to schedule earlier so that was my fault. They are very efficient. They have knowledgeable technicians. There was just one person.

    They put our original system in here 27 years ago. They are very good. They do heating, cooling and roofing. Actually, there was no charge because all it turned out to be was a stuck breaker. It wasn't cooling, the blower would come on but it wasn't cold, so I thought I was probably low on freon or something. He asked me to check the breakers and I did, but evidently, I���m just not that technological, because there was a bunch of breakers on the system. I guess you have to push it over real hard, he showed me how to do it. Anyway, he did it and he said, ���there is no reason for me to charge you because I did it on my way back to the office!��� I used them for both my business and my house.

    CC&H were the ones who did the initial work. I was already not happy at all because the tech that came out made a couple of very unprofessional comments (not a personal nature), and when I received a bill for over $152.00, I was livid. Since I still had a remaining maintenance call that was paid for, I told the owner I would like for him to take that as payment and I would find someone else for my heat and air needs. I never heard a single word back.

    Like I said, I did a review with Wanda of Angie?s List on 5/13 and she talked like someone from Angie?s List would get in touch with Larry?s Service Company about my complaints. I don?t know as of today (5/15).

     [I got the bill] from Larry?s Service Company on 5/15. It does not mention or state anything of warranty on their parts and their labor. Should there not be by law a 30-90 days warranty on Larry?s Service Company and should be [written] on bill?

    5/28, I talked to Tyler [of AL] to look at paper and I ask these questions and we both discuss a lot more. This discussion did not go too good. I told him it had been ten days and I did not get a letter from them. Tyler [said] that they would extend the time and that they would mail out another letter to me. Tyler was on the defense to keep telling me that one Jessica could get in touch with Larry?s. [She was] not any of the people I had talked to from Kate to even Tyler has affect on the case and my choice who to speak to do the work. Also, I tried to explain to Tyler that Kate gave me a rating of A-F and that Wanda typed the review on 5/13 and I asked her was Larry?s going to get the review and Wanda told me yes. I do think that Angie?s List is a good business; I just wish the communication between Wanda, Tyler, and me and getting the letter mailed to me quicker.

    5/29: I [am] going to call Angie?s List and ask to speak to Jessica and ask her about my complaint to them about Larry?s Service Company. I asked her did she mail out my letter to me with papers to fill out. I talked to Paige, [who] said they had my account but [illegible] Jessica. I [talked to] Tierra, [who] said she had a hard time finding my account [and] asked for name and address. Tierra said my member ID. [illegible]. I [asked] Tierra could I talk to Jessica, she put me on hold, came back, not available, could not leave any message to her voicemail, said she doesn?t have a voicemail box, run around, said mailed the letter on 5/18 and 5/28.

    I asked Tierra could I talk to her supervisor, said yes, came back, said that I could leave a message on supervisor?s voicemail, I told her I wanted to talk to the supervisor live. I talked to Jennifer, who said she was a supervisor. I try to explain the situation to her. We talk. I try to explain everything, you still help me if bill is paid off before Angie?s List gets my complaint, what kind of resolution would I like to see. Overcharge on time- 30 minutes at my home should be $42.50, and no warranty on parts or labor.

    [I talked to Don Eamon, building codes enforcement officer of Vance County]. We talked on 6/1 around 4 PM. I asked him should all licensed contractors have warranty on parts and labor and that Larry?s Service Company did some work on my A/C unit and when I got the bill it had no warranty [written] on parts and labor. Don told me he would call Larry?s and ask him. Don called me back and said he [talked] to Larry and he told Don that I had 30 days on parts and labor. I told Don that was good but not [written] on bill.

    On 5/28, I got a [illegible] money order for $146.50 and mailed it out to pay off Larry?s Service Company. I had now two bills and don?t know for sure if I would get a letter from Angie?s List.

    Jordan's Heating and Cooling Service
    I was delighted with Jordan Heating and Cooling, Inc.  Richard worked with our schedule during the installation of the unit.  The Bryant/Carrier unit works great and it was installed within 4 days of my initial call, which was great!  I considered the cost and installation of the unit to be a fair price.  I would definitely use this company again if I need HVAC work.

    During the work, he said he had to go out of town for a week, and promised he would finish when he came back.  He asked to be paid in full, which I did.  He never finished the job.  He botched the job, causing the condensation to flood the circuit board, which ruined a completely new unit.  He also kept the new coils which I had ordered.  From the moment I paid him, the communication was almost nonexistent on their part (Courtney, his wife, handles the office communication and scheduling.)  Because of this, I had to take them to court, and I am attaching the judgement that was awarded me due to his poor service, shoddy work, and bad communication.  I hope others will see this before considering them to do any work.  It took $495 for someone else to fix the problems he created, and the court awarded a total of $640.

    They were very professional. They arrived promptly when I called them and that is important. I also had them check my system for seasonal cleaning because we will be moving from cooling to heating. They did a good job. Their prices were reasonable. I have chosen them as my service company. They check the heater and see if it is operative efficiently. They make sure they change over from heating to cooling without any problems.

    Just wanted to brag on this company, our heat went out, we have 2-small kids. After going through the Yellow Pages, found no one else that called us back in our area. They called back within 3-mins, came out about 11 p.m and with in about 2-hours our heat was working. Great job over all and excellent customer service, thanks.
